It gave me the chance to try their Thai beef boat noodle soup. Omg it was perfect. The broth was a flavorful deep sweet soy sauce based broth with earthy spice undertones. The thinly sliced beef was tender. The noodles were al dente with a nice chew. Perfection in a bite. They had cute condiments but I didn't need to use anything. It was super tasty as it is. You can add beef or lamb in your order at the counter (not available at the self serve area). I aimed for a medium plate of food and accidentally got myself a large plate by the time I got to the end of the self serve table. I just kept piling on item after item, oops! I did end up with leftovers, which I packed and happily finished for lunch the next day. I like heat, but the lowest level of heat for the stir fry was just about enough for me. Anymore heat and I don't think I could enjoy the food. I'd love there to be a level or two below this lol. I was expecting a mild, tinge of spice, but this felt like a full on medium. I liked my plate, but my stomach didn't like me afterward. Their strawberry tanghulu was good! Wanted to try a tomato version but the one left in the box didn't look really fresh. The selections on the menu are wide and everything is fresh and adequately seasoned. If you like your food on the spicy side dont forget to ask for their spice caddy to bring all the flavors together for the full experience. Recommended dishes would of course start with their shrimp fresh rolls, the lemongrass or ginger chicken, any of their curries, the pad eggplant if youre trying to be good and definitely try the duck or the crispy trout if youre not. The tofu fried to perfection and soft & silky inside.We agreed to try item we had never had before and the twice cooked pork bacon and crispy noodle chicken were two of those items. The pork was very flavorful with the perfect heat level, and the crispy noodles under the layer of delicious chicken, mushrooms and fresh Vegis lent the perfect texture. The chive turnover was a fun dish.Our server, and everyone at the was friendly and helpful. Other highlights include the beef noodle soup which is great on a cold night and the xiao long bao.
