“This was my first visit to this storefront Trattoria. While this isn't an attractive venue, it is quite comfortable. All the white tablecloth tabletops make it warm and welcoming. The food is well prepared. There is an ample menu. The caprese salad, Pollo Saltimbocca, and limoncello cake were fantastic. All portions are very generous. Except for the cake. I could have eaten an entire cake, instead of just a slice! Our waiter, Eduardo, was attentive but never intrusive. I'll be back soon.

“We changed our travel route to make sure we make it back to La Ciccia! Wonderful flavors as we remembered from a couple of years ago. We were so excited to dig into our favorite dishes that we forgot to take pictures. The owner was lovely and brought out the lamb dish because she had forgotten to tell the server that we asked for the next dish. (which was totally not expected but we really appreciated) After the first-time dining here, we made it a goal to visit Sardinia. Hope to continue to dine here when we come to San Francisco for years to come! “A really wonderful, romantic oasis in downtown Burlingame. All the food we ordered here was delicious. The Italian sausage lasagna was my highlight. The pomegranate and arugula salad was also wonderful. The Bolognese lasagna was solid but not as standout. The complimentary focaccia bread at the beginning was just so-so.

The staff and service are extraordinarily welcoming and friendly. I'd highly recommend a visit!“

“We feel so lucky to have had Trattoria da Vittorio cater our wedding! The food was absolutely phenomenal—our guests are still raving about the fiochetti pasta and the sausage ragù. Vittorio himself was a joy to work with: warm, accommodating, and incredibly generous throughout the entire process.

He welcomed us into his amazing restaurant for a tasting that felt more like a celebratory dinner than a formal event (we’ll definitely be back), and went out of his way to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions. He even surprised us by offering to make custom shirts in our wedding colors—such a fun and personal touch that truly went above and beyond.

“This meal, which just happened to fall on Valentine's Day, was a lovely beginning to our trip which started with a flight out of SFO. Fortunately I had thought to make a reservation or we never would have gotten in. The service was warm, the atmosphere was cozy and not too dressy, and the food and wine were great. I especially enjoyed my risotto with scallops; while the scallops were small, they were tender and there were plenty of them. We will definitely keep this restaurant in mind when we visit the area in the future.“
