“Stopped in on Monday, Indigenous People's Day when they seemed to be one of the few restaurants open. So happy we did. Our waiter, David, made excellent low-cal suggestions, was prompt, attentive, and remembered our names. Everyone was exceptionally welcoming. Very close to Pacifica Beach. Highly recommend.“

“It has been many years since we were at La Ciccia.  it has always been one of our favorite restaurants. My wife and I chose to go here on our anniversary. We were very happy that the restaurant was bustling, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious and unique.“

“I chose Ofena to have my office holiday lunch, which was a group of nine. The place is nice, looking freshly remodeled (which I believe it is). Service was good and attentive. I had the Ferrone sandwich, which was very tasty and came with a side of pickled vegetables. Most of my group had the lunch special, which is a cup of soup, a half sandwich (diner's choice) and a small salad. One person had the Carbonara, which was unusual in that it was gnocci instead of a traditional long pasta and used duck vs. port. Very inventive. Everyone enjoyed their food. I shared the Cannoli desert. One cannoli was definitely enough to satisfy. A nicely done desert, which we both enjoyed a lot. Every dish served was well executed and I noticed their precision to the plating. The pricing is very reasonable! I definitely expect to come back to try their dinner service.“

“Fiore is our favorite restaurant in San Francisco. The food and service are great, and the prices reasonable. On week-days, you can usually get in without a reservation, and the noise level is pleasant. Week-ends are busier, and we always reserve for those days.

The menu has Italian dishes you rarely see at other restaurants, but plenty of old favorites.

We are not big eaters and some other restaurants have treated us like they wish we weren’t taking up a table. This never happens at Fiore. We have never had anything but good experiences here, and we’ve been customers since they opened.
I can’t recommend it highly enough.“

“We feel so lucky to have had Trattoria da Vittorio cater our wedding! The food was absolutely phenomenal—our guests are still raving about the fiochetti pasta and the sausage ragù. Vittorio himself was a joy to work with: warm, accommodating, and incredibly generous throughout the entire process.

He welcomed us into his amazing restaurant for a tasting that felt more like a celebratory dinner than a formal event (we’ll definitely be back), and went out of his way to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions. He even surprised us by offering to make custom shirts in our wedding colors—such a fun and personal touch that truly went above and beyond.

“Hidden gem on 24th st. I ordered the spaghetti and my bf the Ragu and Caesar. Everything was delicious and hearty. When he took a bite he immediately said that it was really good and tasted like homemade comfort food and he was right. The servers are nice and attentive!

They also have an amazing deal from 3pm-5pm 35$ for a 3 course meal!!!“

“First of all, it's just fun to eat in an old bank that has retained the sensibility of the former occupant, while still making it acceptable to diners. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. The only thing that fell a little bit for me was the Caesar salad salad, because it didn't quite have the taste that I was expecting. But the pasta and the fish that I had were great. The cappelini Pomodoro is special. The service is always outstanding. It's convenient to park and convenient to get to. Check it out.“

“Haystack pizza is an institution and Noe Valley staple! We came here on a Monday night for a third grade end of season soccer celebration and it hit all the marks. The pizza, pasta and salads were delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location was perfect with a post meal playground right next door. We definitely came in hot with 40+ people, but they handled it. We are eternally grateful for the smiles they offered us and we loved all the delicious food we continually ordered for our insatiable crowd. Thank you for welcoming us and hosting us Haystack. “A nice added gem to the Noe Valley neighborhood! They have wine cocktails, wine and beer. I love the elderflower cocktail. The pizzas and pasta are delicious - no surprise from the Fiorella brand. I love being able to look into the kitchen and large wood fire oven. A cozy space to get together with friends.“

“As someone raised on the east coast, I consider myself a decent critic of what makes a sandwich shop better than what you can make at home. Number one is bread that isn’t something that can be bought at your local grocery store. Check that box- I don’t know exactly how to categorize their sub roll but it’s crusty, chewy and all the things that mass produced bread can’t be. Number two is the prep of the ingredients- at home we can all put a lettuce leaf on a sandwich, but that just creates a barrier between bread/sauce/meat. Here it’s thinly sliced and perfectly married to the importance of sauce…which they also nail. All I can say is WELL DONE!“

Huge selection of wine (all of it new to me and something I really liked), wonderful charcuterie type small plates (out of this world olives).
