“Stopped by for a late night drink for a friend. Was a little confusing finding the place, but that was the only issue. The server was very friendly, and even though they were about to close we didn't feel pressured or rushed at all. The cocktails were great - I always try to find slight various on my favorites, and Joliet didn't disappoint.The ambience was chill and casual, and not too loud, always a plus for me.“

“Its a beautiful cosy place, takes you back in time. The cakes, as you can see in the video look delicious (didn't try one though).We had the lemon pancakes which were AMAZING, also the breakfast burrito which was really delicious as well and very filling. Their coffees were also flavourful and strong.Lastly, salmon with potato pancakes..which I personally didn't really like.. they had a funny taste.. quite soggy.. something about the salmon? Or the eggs? I didn't understand but unfortunately has a weird and not good taste.“

“I came here on the early side (around 8a) on a Saturday morning and ordered a coffee to go. There was already a few people seated throughout and could have easily grabbed a seat, but getting some beach time was my top priority before having to board a flight later. The host who took my order was friendly and the barista very quickly made one of the most tasty lattes I've had in a long time. Seriously I ordered a basic oat milk latte but it was so creamy and had such a nice rich flavor it definitely made the wave watching time more enjoyable. “Brought the pups to Dialog Cafe for the first time on a sunny Sunday morning. They were busy but the line moved quickly and everyone from the staff to the other patrons were super nice and friendly. Drunk Cauliflower - light batter that didn't hold the cooking oil and not drenched in sauce- just enough to give it the right amount of flavor and the cauliflower were so meaty! A meal in itself!! Next was the Indian tikka masala. Flavorful land for me a little too spicy- but otherwise than that, full of deliciousness. Jasmine rice cooked to perfection and presented in the shape of a heart . “Matcha Village has the most delicious desserts! We tried the Green Vine Cheesecake and the Fruit Box Cake. Both were fantastic! The consistency of the matcha for the cheesecake was perfection. “Came here on a random morning with my kid after their doctor appointment and so so glad I did! Called ahead to see if they had a high chair & thank god I did cause they only had 1! No biggie, strollers exist for a reason. We got the 1. Catfish special - 2 filet catfish (fried to perfection btw) 2 over easy eggs and cheesy grits 2. Fried chicken with 2 scrambled eggs and roasted potatoes Grits were okay, I make them better at home so obvi I wasn't expecting home outdoors lol Chicken and fish were PERFECT. Tasty and crunchy. My kid ate it up!! Each plate came with a choice of toast, we got the sourdough (it already came buttered) that's customer service! Not to mention, the waiter looked like he was handling the tables and the register. He did so with kindness, attentiveness and promptness. I was never waiting for someone to check on us for very long. I love Inglewood and moved away from here a few years ago so it was nice to come back and feel that community feel again Prior to getting the check, a young lady checked on us (we sat outside) and promptly got us our check and some to-go boxes. 10/10 would recommend. Really appreciated the service and quality of food. Next time we're in the area, I'm bringing the hubsters“

“The brunch spot!!!! Such good food. I have only been here once so far so I have a lot more I need to try but when I did go I ordered the chicken and waffles....MY GOODNESS!!! it was one of the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. Everyone working here was super nice and the time we went we took our dog so we were eating outside. But too many people were walking by and distracting our dog so the server kindly let us eat inside even though we had a bigger dog. The staff here were super sweet and friendly. The only thing that was a little annoying was inside was REALLY loud. It's kind of a small spot and it gets really packed so it just sounds like people are shouting their conversations to be heard. We had to leave a little early because my gf was getting anxious from the noise. But the food and service was amazing!“

“I have been several times now. I live in the area. Best espresso in Hermosa/Manhattan area. Today I got the cortado with a savory Danish. It is a neighborhood establishment. In the neighborhood. It is a small local business where you can chat with the barista. Great spot to stop on a bike ride on the strand. You can see the ocean from some of the seating.“

“Blue Lounge is an amazing lounge to sit and enjoy Shisha. They have a large variety of tobacco flavors and all pipes are "Regals" unless you choose a different specialty pipe they offer. This place is safe, clean and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of lighted parking out front and a large outdoor patio with heaters and seating outback. “I was in the area for a tire and in desperate need of coffee. I asked the barista which to get and they recommended the horchata latte, I got it with half the sweetener, iced and it was perfect. I even splurged and got a the tomato & mozzarella empanada (also recommend by the barista) chefs kiss! Came with a chipotle sauce of some kind and so fresh. I also opted for the spinach, egg and cheese empanada which was also delicious. Will definitely be back when in the area.“

“What a delicious restaurant with authentic Ukrainian food. We traveled here from the Bay Area and were shocked to find a place that served only Ukrainian dishes. We got the varenyky with cabbage, borscht, Syrniki with custard, holubtsi , kompot (juice from berries) and nalisniki (crepe with chicken and mushroom. Everything was perfect. I like that they have a seasonal espresso to try, as an espresso lover who appreciates light roast espresso.Pourovers are okay. I don't know if it's because they are so busy or because of the kinds of beans they use, but many times I find them to not be my favorite. They seem to be worse during rush hour so I think it's an execution thing. Love that they have multiple bean options, I recommend going with one of the "darker" ones as they taste fruitier to me, Marus lightest roasts tend to be sour IMO.Also they need have some restrictions on dogs here. I've had so many dogs sniffing me, trying to eat my food, or literally jump on me. I came to a cafe, not a dog park.“

The Original Rinaldi's is on the same side of the street and less than one block from the Hyatt Regency. We did not want an expensive hotel breakfast. Walked in to Rinaldi's and got a very warm welcome. They have different coffees so we tried the iced Vietnamese coffee in recognition of our completed trip. The coffee was terrific. Breakfast items were fresh, tasty, and healthy. Got a bottle of Langer's OJ to wash it down - cold and refreshing. Chatted with the nice lady that took our order. Excellent way to enjoy a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch near the airport. Or, not a bad idea to pre order food and take it on your flight.“
