“Really good food. Staff are doing great. Sylvain served us and he’s such a great kid. Hard worker, great people skills. The restaurant hasn't been there long so the kitchen I’m sure is still working out kinks, but the restaurant is beautiful and the menu is great. I’d probably do a tasting course next time because I wanted to try a little of everything.Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian but there’s a good amount of vegetarian options and their vegetables were all really good.“

“Walking into Mírate transported me into a zone of lush relaxation accompanied by great food and service. From the second we sat down, Logan welcomed us aboard this pallet joinery enjoying flavors from Mexico. His energy and helpfulness in deciding what to drink and eat made our dining experience a dream. He even brought over Max, the Mezcal expert, to share with us some amazing stories behind each of our drink choices. 100% recommend coming here and asking for Logan to be your server.“

“High quality restaurant in Beverly Hills that takes beef very seriously. Came here for dinner with my family prior to a show at the Geffen, and made a reservation online in advance. Indoor seating only. Credit cards accepted. My sister and I had the ribeye dinner for two (4 courses), while my mom opted for the filet dinner (3 courses), and my dad got the picanha dinner (4 courses). You can order a la carte if you wish as well. We got an order of the beef tallow fries and while they were good to munch on, I wish we had gotten the mushrooms instead. They bring out courses as they’re ready so if you order one less course than the rest of your party, note that you will end your meal earlier than others (unless they are willing to share!). You don’t need to choose how to cook your meat as the restaurant decides - rest assured you’re in good hands. The fazzoletti pasta from Uovo that came in my mom’s course was outstanding and we all really liked the Japanese Caesar that came in the ribeye dinner. Portions were on the smaller side but everything was very high quality and we left feeling satisfied. We got the flourless chocolate cake for dessert as our waiter mentioned that it was the most popular choice and it was indeed delectable. There garage parking across the street that’s free for the first 90 minutes. The vibes were dark and sophisticated, and a lot of people seemed to be celebrating a birthday during the time we were there. Overall, a really yummy spot for those who enjoy steak.“

“This was our first time at Saltie Girl. We will definitely be dinning at Saltie Girl again. The oysters were outstanding and not a bad price at $4.50 each. They had great flavor.LA Pink salad was very good with an excellent crushed maple walnut dressing dressing. The Moules Frites, probably the best I ever had, even better than in Belgium! Ipswich Claim had a wonderful coating and excellent flavor. The Fried Brussels Sprouts outstanding flavor. The French Dover Sole with the lemon, capers, butter and parsley, amazing flavor. Lump Crab Toast bold and delicious flavor. The one dish I would pass on next time is the Tins. We had one tin with Sardine In Olive Oil With Lemon and one with Hake In Green Sauce. They just lacked flavor.Service was top notch.“

“Great breakfast spot. We had the waffles with berries, the sunrise breakfast with scrambled eggs, side of hash browns, iced matcha with oat, and pu’erh tea. It is on the pricier side at ~$24 per item.Waffles with berries: amazing! You can’t tell or taste that it is made with almond flour. The real star of the dish is the butter; soooooo good! The raspberries jam was a little too overpowering and tart — if that’s your thing you’ll love it.Sunrise breakfast — traditional breakfast with good quality ingredients and it shows; but it’s nothing too fancy or out of the ordinary. The toast was the star, very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.Has brown — nothing special. Tasted straight out of McDonald’s.Iced Macha — really good and flavorful; not too sweet and not too overpowering.Pu’erh — underwhelming but also not sure if I had expectations. It tasted like water with a hint of tea. I wouldn’t buy that again if I come back.Service — the service was fast to get the food out but they were bad on following up on anything and the place was not busy; we were two of about 6 people total. Asked for refills on our waters or for a to go cup, and both took a long time. Not bad but also not great.Overall 3.5 or 4 out of 5. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again, but if I’m in the area I wouldn’t mind stopping by.“

“Popped in with a date on a day that was raining cats & dogs and had such a gratifying and pleasant experience! We sat at the bar and were immediately taken care of. Big shout-out?️to Indio for providing exquisite service, excellent cocktails and just being an all-around awesome dude; he really made our experience what it was.The food came out fast and needless to say, the kitchen staff absolutely killed it!! We tried ALL the tacos; asada, al pastor, shrimp, chicken mole & chicken tinga. They were all great with the stand outs being the al pastor and the mole = ?????. The al pastor was so crispy? with a great mixture of sweet from the pina and the salt from the pork and yo, that mole, that mole though?...had such a fantastic combo of savory and chocolate profile that was super unique; well done?.The cocktails were expertly crafted by our main man Indio, they had great balance and were enjoyed to the very last drop. The place has a great atmosphere that supports intimate conversation, relaxed vibes and on chilly nights, there's a fireplace to cozy up on too.If you're in the neighborhood, Melrose Umbrella Co., makes the list and won't let you down.“

“Barbecue in California seems to be increasing in popularity every year. When visiting Los Angeles California and craving BBQ, my #1 go to spot, without question, is Bludso’s BBQ.A James Beard Award Wining Pit master and co-host of barbecue showdown (On Netflix), Kevin Bludsos serves up and array of delectable and mouthwatering trays of deliciousness.I ordered the Pork Ribs, Brisket, 1/2 chicken collard greens, fried okra and Cornbread. The ribs were cooked absolutely to perfection as was the brisket and chicken. The flavors were amazing and the meat was plentiful on each rib bone. All the meats come with homemade BBQ sauce but they’re great by themselves. When asked how he cooks his meats Kevin responds, “ Low and slow like a 64.” In essences, time equals perfection. I’ve dined at Bludso’s numerous times. And on each and every occasion the flavor and quality of the meat has remained the same, outstanding.I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge my server, Katie, She was wonderful. It’s evident she truly loves working at the restaurant, which, definitely has a family vibe. She really understand the importance of treating customers well. The wait time for a table can be a while but trust me, it’s well worth the wait. I’ve eaten BBQ all my life from a myriad of businesses across this country and Bludso’s remains supreme, and has set the bar for other BBQ spots to follow suit.LA’s best!“

“Wonderful ambience and great food and service in a unique setting. Our server Karen suggested some dishes we shared included a great fried artichoke salad and the mixed lettuce salad was dressed to perfection. The fettucine dish with beef and pork was prepared with a lovely bolognese sauce and great pasta. Also highly recommend the stemple creek ranch steak which was cooked to perfection and enjoyed the sides of onion rings and potatoes. The drink menu is inventive and highly recommend the gimlet.“

“Great views and yummy food. Menu is quite eclectic with an Asian and Middle Eastern twist. Our waitress Jambeth was nice and politely asked us when we sat down if we had a show at the Pantages. That was very thoughtful and much appreciated. As it was we were there for my birthday and so we were not in a rush and could enjoy the skyline and cuisine. Ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken liver and charred carrot starter. Had Cacio & Pepe, Charmoula and Duck Confit as our main. Was given a complementary dessert as it was my birthday with a candle which was a lovely gesture. Would definitely go back for drinks on summer evening and enjoy the sunset.“
“This was a cute bar with good crowd and good drinks. The bartender even treated me to a tequila shot for my birthday. We came upstairs to this rooftop bar after having dinner downstairs at the Citizen Public Market (trendy food court style), where I ate at the handroll sushi place (Uoichiba Handroll).“

“My wife and I dined here last night and the food was creative, exciting and most of all delicious. Our favorites were the matzo ball soup, tinned salt spring mussels, the small relish tray with 5-onion dip and the rose petal pie. Shout out to the staff, especially Oscar, who helped walk us through the menu and was happy to chat with us at the close of service. The energy in the restaurant was vibrant and joyous. “Amazing food experience! Everything was well balanced and full of flavor! The atmosphere inside is a vibe in itself. The outdoor atmosphere is more laid back and chill. It’s nice and on the quieter side if you have a child or want to have a dinner and conversation. I recommend the pesto meatballs or rice ball for starters. The T-bone steak is tender and full of flavor. The pork chops have a beautifully balanced demiglaze and are super tender. The fingerling potatoes on top of the pork chop are crispy and full of flavor. The Brussels sprouts salad is to die for! Every bite had texture with the nuts and grapes. The ricotta cheesecake was amazing too. For dessert, the kicker was the box of cookies. These cookies are made in-house and are literally the best cookies I’ve had. They are muted in sweetness, nice vanilla notes throughout and have a few options in one box. A cookies to eat with a latte or drip coffee. Definitely worth the cost“

“Our waiter was friendly and fantastic. The venue itself is very cool. But cool in temperature too. The whole front of the place is open with no wall and we had to keep our jackets on the whole time. “This gets 5 for view ambience and service. This time was at the bar. Usually, I get a table where the views can't be beat. Food is always quite pricey and nothing special, but the staff will treat you well and you will enjoy the floor to ceiling views over the pier. Tita served us well at the bar, and she and Jason made great drinks. I also got the crab cakes this time, which I thought were one of the deals on the menu. Again, nothing delectable there--more Cajun style than Chesapeake or CA, fyi.“

“I'm looking forward to my next stop at MB Post. I had a reservation for 3 at 7:15 on a Saturday night. We arrived a little early, checked in and waited at the bar for our table. The bar was crowded and the staff busy but our drink order was taken quickly. Cocktails were delicious, #Blessed will be my go-to here. It took a bit longer to get our drinks than we had anticipated. We waited for our table about 20 minutes beyond the time of our reservation and we had to circle back to the host to inquire how much longer before we would be seated. Our table was in the corner next to the kitchen and a service nook, loud and busy; next time I'll make a note to request a table away from the kitchen. It's a boisterous restaurant and the corner amplified the energy. We ordered the carrots, gnocchi, green beans and biscuits---all were incredibly delicious with the green beans being our favorite. Our server was prompt, courteous, food arrived without a long delay. We enjoyed Lola cab sauv with dinner. I gave the 4 stars for the service at the bar our need to check on our table. Overall a great experience and I will certainly be back.“

“The music was too loud for quiet conversation. Often restaurant managers don't consider older patrons, a few with hearing aides find it even louder than it appears. Food is always fantastic. “Absolutely fabulous! The beef tartare was superb. I had the black truffle risotto and there is nothing better than that on the menu in my personal opinion, rich, creamy, earthy, simply delicious. My mom had the crab pasta which was so complex, but the lumps of crab added such a lovely ocean flavor to every bite. Our server was incredible! She was so attentive and kind and patient with us. But the best part of the meal was the tiramisu, not your typical tiramisu but the chocolate record decoration made the whole evening. Also the cocktails were worth every penny, expertly crafted and unique.“

“3.5/5 This place has been on our list for a few months now after discovering it on social media. We came here on Valentine's Day after I made a reservation a week prior for outdoor seating (indoor reservation was not available for prime dinner hours when I looked). Their outdoor seating is ok. It did have heat lamps which was nice, however I'm not the biggest fan of sitting in the parklet barrier patios which have you sitting like 5 feet from zooming cars on the street. For some reason I was expecting either sidewalk seating or a back patio. I should have done my research. Our server was friendly and the timeliness of everything coming out from drinks, to apps, to bigger plates was perfect. Nothing rushed or slow. We did really enjoy our cocktails which is why I pushed my initial review from a 3 to a 4, however I found everything to be fairly overpriced. For the two of us, the cost was well over $220 with the tip. It was nice that we got to try some different foods, but the portions often were tiny for a high price point. I understand the location being in Los Feliz and LA in general, but this is just more so of a warning/disclaimer. I enjoyed the Pincanha steak. I thought the steak sauce that accompanied it was really tasty. The biggest disappointment to me was that I was under the impression that this place has *live* Brazilian funk music every Wednesday which is why after dinner we walked inside to see if we could grab a drink and check it out, but when I asked an employee, she said it was just a vinyl record. Not sure if this was just for that night, or if I misunderstood, but I just felt like that didn't really make this place all *too* special in the end. For the price point, I'd only stick to this place for a drink or two and move on.“

“The restaurant is located on the second floor of Nerano in Beverly Hills (you have to take an elevator up to the second floor through Nerano). This gives the spot kind of a fun speakeasy feel to it. When you get out of the elevator, you walk into a beautifully designed / decorated, cozy, albeit slightly quirky space. It's not large (I think the capacity is 34). Came here for a food event, which I did a review for separately, but this experience in particular was grabbing a drink at the bar. (I did think the food was delicious though and urge folks to come here and give this place a try. I know I want to come back and try more menu items.) The bar is beautifully designed and organized. I found myself perusing and mentally cataloguing the whiskeys as I always do when I go to new restaurants. But this place looked like a place that has fun cocktails. So I ordered The George Michael. The drinks here are really interactive, and the bartenders are super enthusiastic to the point that it's infectious. My drink in particular had some bowls that floated up and you had to catch it with a paddle. Flavor wise it was like espresso martini with a peanut butter twist to it. All in all this place is a great place to grab drinks and/or food. Lots of fun. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but it could get challenging especially during the weekends. I came in the middle of the week and was able to find parking about a block away.“

“Meh, $90+ for 3 people. Line is unnecessarily long. There's tons of seating outside if you can find how to get there. Go to the back, turn right, not up the stairs, you'll find the patio.Pastries are good, food is ok. Madam sandwich was oily. For the price I'd rather go to Horses.“

We ordered them along with fresh baked bread and the chopped shrimp louie salad for a perfect light and delicious early dinner. “We've enjoyed Rossoblu, so expected good things form Superfina but took us a while to try it. The menu doesn't seem too inventive--fried calamari, little gem Caesar salad -- all the mandatory California-Italian offerings. Still, everything we had was wonderful. The calamari were perfect--so good that we barely tried a fiery red dipping sauce that accompanied it. The farro salad was a bowl of simplicity and uniqueness--the arugula, carrots and radishes were very fresh tasting with a vinaigrette that let us taste the vegetables. I had the lamb pasta while my companion had the clam pasta. We loved our own dish but would have been happy trading as well because they were both fantastic. The lamb was extremely tender, the pasta al dente and carried the flavor through and through. The service was fast and cordial, which should be expected on a early Sunday evening when the place wasn't very busy. While a little too expensive to become a frequent regular at Superfina, it is still worth a return trip or three.“
