“Locals hangout. Locals often avoid the touristy trendy restaurants, buit love to meet and hang out at this super fun dive bar. Recommended by a local.
The food (burger, chips & beer) was good. A nice selection of beers on tap and by the bottle. Watch sports, play pool/billiards, hang out with friends, have a PTA meeting,etc.
As we were leaving, the local ladies, all meeting together Sunday night, were super friendly and waved hello/goodbye. Fun place.“

“This place is amazing. The decor, the lighting, the ambiance, it's perfect. The bartenders are great and the drinks are incredible. Do you want an actually good dirty Martini? They have one on the menu! The margaritas and (true) classic cocktails are great too. The music is top notch too with an in-house DJ on the days I've been there, but I will say it's too way too loud on the lounge side of the bar. The dance floor is small but poppin, but the lounge side is a bunch of people leaning too far forward in their chairs and attempting to scream at each other over the music. We left with sore throats just having normal conversation, lol. That's the only point to dock, please mildly adjust the sound system on the one side of the house.“

“The atmosphere is popping here! Excellent DJ, very welcoming people, and good vibes. The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“
“This place is really growing. I went to their opening and since then started going to the weekly trivia events. It’s a really fun brewery atmosphere, lowkey local and good beer on tap. On the Tuesday trivia nights they have a food truck come. Definitely a great addition to the downtown San Pedro area.“

“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Love this place but today I had the wings and was very upset.Wings were barely warm tasted like they were not fresh. Buffalo sauce was almost tasteless. Like I said I love this places food but the wings were not on par with all the other food I have gotten there.“

“My first time dining at Fete Bistro. Great value and so wonderful to eat a French meal with the accordion windows open. I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes, steak tartare, French onion soup and all of their entrees. My husband had the sea bass special and he said it was one of the best prepared sea bass dishes he's ever eaten. The crème brûlée and pistachio cheese cake were both decadent and delicious. We drank pear martinis and Slay Estate Pinot Noir. We will be back!!“

“Such a Phenomenal Spot!! The atmosphere is amazing; the whole concept with the beer/wine is brilliant and well-executed. The food is delicious and has a wide variety of choices on the menu (perfect for everyone). Very reasonable pricing (very inexpensive especially for the quality). Literally everything you could want or think of is here -- there's even board/card games. Events are hosted! Wish it was closer to me because we would come every weekend! 10/10 RECOMMEND!“

“Great spot in Lawndale/Torrance area. Awesome for catching Dodger games. They have plenty of amazing beer on draft. They also offer wine and other hard liquor here. I like the decor they have set up here. Parking can be a pain since its right on Prairie but if you drive into the neighborhood you usually can find a spot. If you like brooklyn bar down hawthorne you'd like this place. Similar vibe.“
“Stopped in after dinner at Sushi Bei. The place have been upgraded a bit since the last ownership. Way less dive feeling (but the old way was great too!).We just had a couple drinks and didn’t sing. The atmosphere was great! A very fun party and people were having a great time.They have many premium liquors and several mezcals (my fave). Looks like they no longer have the private room in the back.I would go back and would recommend!“

“Amazing ambiance! You’re in for a treat coming here. This is not your typical dining place by far. Here you’ll see tables submerged in the water while a sever wades out to you and takes your order. The water is so warm that it feels like you’re walking into a heated pool! So lovely! I spent Mother’s Day in this restaurant along with 6 more couples and had a phenomenal time. Friendly staff, good energy and they constantly check in with you. Our server was the best! Great giving us recommendations off the menu and if you are looking for good drinks + seafood this place is a MUST! Food here is exquisite! We ordered crab, fried shrimp, red snapper, shrimp skewers, chicken quesadillas and fish empanadas. Everything was deliciously tasty! Portion sizes are generous and freshly made. The waiting time after you order food can take over 30 to 40mins., so be ready to wait. However, once you start eating you’ll automatically forget everything else. Alcoholic Drinks - Micheladas are unbelievably good! If you like tangy & citrusy beer then this may be your new favorite drink. Piña Coladas are addicting! I think they use Belizean coconut rum on this drink which brings the flavor to a different level of sweetness, but enough not to be overpowering. Prices - affordable Duration: (11am - 4pm) We stayed for 5 hours indulging in their delicious food dishes, drinking & lounging in this gorgeous place. Also took some cool pics with the gorgeous beach views. Entertainment- DJ plays Afro beats, Reggae, Spanish music and hip pop or whatever you request. Hahaha Perfect spot to take your vacation pics or influencer’s (IG & Tik Tok) shots! You’ll see the giant swing set and slide on the water. This restaurant is located 45mins away from downtown and by the time we decided to head back to our hotel it was almost 4:30pm and it began to rain a bit. Once we got to the hotel my husband realized his wallet was missing. By the time we tried calling Blue Bayou it was already closed for the night. We had to wait till the next day and hope they had found it. What was inside the wallet? DL, 2 credit cards, 1 debit card and some cash. My poor husband barely slept that night stressing over the missing wallet. Next morning at 8:30am we headed back to the restaurant hoping the wallet would be there. Although the possibility of anything falling or dropping off from the golf cart was very likely since it has no doors or storage compartment. Finally, arrived 45 mins later at Blue Bayou and thank God the same waiter who served us the day before was there who recognized us. He smiled and said, “John Doe! You lost something here right?”, then he reached to the drawer where he pulled out the wallet!!! What a relief! NOT A SINGLE THING WAS MISSING! Everything was there! Wow!!! By far this place is not just a great restaurant with excellent service, but they’re TRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE!! So happy to have come here and can’t wait to come back again! Thank you Blue Bayou!“

“Great place to have gotten married, it feels like yesterday and yet it was over 3 years ago now.... It was quiet, secluded, with just the two of us our son, and the officiant. The officiant brought everything to the house for us to sign and submitted everything to the courthouse for us. Private marriage license, the certificate all of it... never had to leave the base.“

“I had a great experience here. I called once we landed to see if we would be able to check in early, and they said yes. My husband was so sick from the plane ride, so we were grateful for that. The room we were given wasn’t cleaned, but the front desk immediately found us one that was ready. I love the waiting area set up, and there was a cute large connect 4 game. I enjoyed a drink a bar, the bartender was very sweet. The floors are confusing, so be sure to ask the staff what floor your room is on. Parking was simple, it’s designated just for the hotel. You can pay hourly or do all day. There is a shuttle to the airport I think. We rented a vehicle though. You are walking distance from a pharmacy and a few restaurants. “Dive bar. I like that. 2 pool tables. Both are pretty damn good. Locals are a bit on the “I’m so tough” side. But not so bad to keep you away. Occasionally there are good shooters there. Good bartenders… and again, 2 good pool tables. I’m in!

“Saw some reels about the newly renovated Bailey's. Not entirely sure why they went with social media. The casino folks seem happy with the food, I'm not sure it's worth getting carded on the way in just to get food. Same menu as what's available at the other casino.
Reasonably priced food, came out fairly fast and blazing hot. Open late, which is great. The fried rice had good flavor, a good fish sauce on the side, and lots of all three kinds of meat: shrimp, beef, and chicken. Banh mi was a bit bready and char siu bland. Coconut shrimp was a perfectly fine rendition of a chain restaurant version.
Lots of big TVs all around, so a decent place to watch a game. Menu showed there's free house coffee, casino perks?“

“Mother worked the original restaurant 60+ years ago in Inglewood and have made it a family tradition to return whenever a birthday needs celebration or just because we can. Red Onion has never had an off day of consistant quality, environment and service. We'll be traveling from Riverside to keep our tradition going. Love this place!!
