“This is a small independent shop that only does take out. Nothing fancy.
I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though.
If you spend more than $20, you won't be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash.
Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks.
I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order.
If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.“

“Longo Seafood serves up some tasty dim sum with solid flavors and good value. The Pork Offal Congee was a standout—rich, flavorful, and very affordable, which my parents really enjoyed. The Pork and Century Egg Congee was also good, though the portion was noticeably smaller. The Roast Pork was a highlight, with incredibly crispy skin that added the perfect crunch.
Overall, the food was delicious, though portion sizes varied. A great spot for dim sum, and we’ll definitely be back!“

“Good dim sum, good service-polite, efficient. Large sized taro fried dumpling. Skin (wrap) to shrimp dumpling is thin, with nice chew. Good flavors, not so salty. Good value. 7 dishes $52. Beautiful setting. Nice glass enclosed banquet room.“

“I attended a banquet here and the food is amazing. The roast young pig, lobster seafood salad, and the steamed fish were as good as I ever had and I had tasted some great ones. The service was excellent. I really enjoyed this place and would come back in a heart beat.“

“Waited about an hour, totally worth it!
We had har gow, shu mai, beef rice roll, baked bbq pork bun, fried chicken dumpling. Our favorite was the beef rice roll and baked bbq pork bun! The bun is so buttery and the bread by itself is so yummy.“

“Came by for the first time on 04/22/24 during the morning hours while vacationing on CA. I ordered online to pick up my order, the place is small but very clean inside, the prices are a bit high compared to what I am used to, food tasted good and they had a lot of items in their menu. The service was pretty quick and they got my order right. I will definitely be returning back if I am again in the area.“

“This was my first time at Wah Sing Dim Sum. I wanted a quick bite and saw this place had good reviews. And those reviews were right! I'm not a pork eater, so I was a little limited, but the Har Gow, a classic, was spot on! Well seasoned, fresh, good size/portion. The shrimp and chive dumplings, also delicious! I also got the chicken buns and shrimp rice noodle which were delicious. The only thing was the shrimp egg rolls, I think I may have gotten the wrong thing, because they looked to be filled with ground meat (not sure if it was pork) and not shrimp. But I was told they were good too!
They do have a few tables and chairs inside to eat there. But it looked like everyone was getting takeout. You just walk in, fill out a sheet with your order, pay and wait for a very short time for your food. Very quick and easy, no nonsense kinda place. Which I very much appreciated!
I will definitely be back to Wah Sing Dim Sum when I'm in the area. It was great!“

“My family and I were looking to pickup Dim Sum in San Gabriel on the way home to eat on the go. After a quick google search Dim Sum Box was the perfect stop. It was clean, the food looked fresh from a limited menu, but the taste was awesome! Both steamed and baked BBQ pork buns were great, the Shumai had very good ingredients, spare ribs were delicious, and they have congi!
For desserts we finished with the baked custard, sesame balls and the steamed custard buns is a must! Friendly service and reasonably priced food was a win-win. We're planning on a second visit next time we're in the area.
The parking situation is the only challenge so brace yourself for that.“

“Very good quality ayce dim sum. Atmosphere is on par with other restaurants in SGV. This is my new go to place. Quality is pretty close to Sea Harbour (which sets the standard), while having no wait for tables. Also more convenient parking than other restaurants.“

“Parking is horrible. You have to quickly turn in the parking lot off Garfield, but you have to go slow, or you will miss it the entrance. Order window is right on Garfield Blvd. On really busy days, they run out of food fast. Everything I have ordered has been delish. Just don't l like that they close by 5:30pm and you have to have cash. Food, price, and amount are 👍👍😁
Wheelchair accessibility: yes“

“My go to place for Dim Sum on my commute home from SGV to Orange County. They got your fan favs and the prices are somewhat reasonable - compared to some LA Chinatown spots, $5 per dish seems a bit high. Their food taste great so I really can't complain. Place looks clean inside but it can be hot and stifling during the summer. No dine in, strictly togo.“

“Glad to discover another nice Taiwanese restaurant around LA. Very hospital staff. The beef noodle soup is certainly their specialty - unique thick al dente noodles, very tender tendons (chunks of beef not so much), interesting broth with herbal accents. Impressed by their shrimp & pork dumplings - the pork portion was probably fulfilled by the filing of XLB on the menu, which made the dumplings very pleasantly juicy; just wished the wrapper were thinner. In all, don’t expect anything extraordinary, but great value and certainly above peers.“

“One of these days, I'll be smart enough to take photos of what I eat. When I come back, cuz I will come back, I'll be better about taking pictures of the food. I came here on the recommendation of Kristy Hang, who posted about it on her instagram. I had the shu mai, har gow, wok fried turnip cake, and a pot of wonderfully perfumed Jasmine tea. The waitress was kind enough to offer me a to-go cup for the remainder of the tea in the pot. I would not have known to ask for it. So I'm grateful to her. There is easy parking in the lot. Highly recommend this place.“

“The dim sum a la carte were large portions.
Easy to order. You go to your table and there is a sheet with picture of the food item and you mark your quantity. Food was fast. I like this serving concept better - you don’t have to flag dim sum cart to your table.“

“This restaurant was a go to place for my mom in the early morning cuz it opened at 8 am. The dim sums was decent but it lacked varieties so choices were limited. Almost all dim sums costed $5.28 per dish except few bbq n special items.
Parking: During weekend around lunch time, it was difficult to find parking nearby the restaurant.“

“Our family loves Mama Lu's Dumpling House! We love the joicy pork dumplings, the green onion pancakes, the noodles, and the green beans. The food is served quickly, is hot and very tasty. The service is always great...quick and friendly.“

“I keep coming back for the veggies. The green beans and the seaweed with tofu is the best. Their knife-cut noodles with mushrooms have this fantastic smoky flavor—though the portion is a little small. Thankfully, you can swap in brown rice if you prefer.
The Salt & Pepper Tofu is a standout—crispy on the outside without being overly breaded—and the Spicy Pork Dumplings are just the right level of heat.
Pro tip: Parking is easier across the street if you’re cool with a short walk.
Downside: They can be a little understaffed at times“

“Definitely the best dimsum around San Gabriel area if not entire SoCal, and I'm open to other suggestions or recommendations. Service is excellent with attentive staff.
Vegetarian options: Lot's of Chinese veggies to choose from. Chinese broccoli is one good one.“
