“This is a small independent shop that only does take out. Nothing fancy.
I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though.
If you spend more than $20, you won't be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash.
Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks.
I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order.
If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.“

“Longo Seafood serves up some tasty dim sum with solid flavors and good value. The Pork Offal Congee was a standout—rich, flavorful, and very affordable, which my parents really enjoyed. The Pork and Century Egg Congee was also good, though the portion was noticeably smaller. The Roast Pork was a highlight, with incredibly crispy skin that added the perfect crunch.
Overall, the food was delicious, though portion sizes varied. A great spot for dim sum, and we’ll definitely be back!“

“This is the first time I have dined at this restaurant. It was iHealth company dinner banquet in a separate reserved room. The food was fairly good overall, with jumbo walnut shrimp being my favorite dish! I also liked the sliced fish with vegetables and lobster with noodles dishes. I thought the Peking duck and sweet sour pork ribs were just average ...The atmosphere is festive, private party rooms are great, service is above average! I would have another company party here again!“

“Our go-to Dim-Sum restaurant when we visit Alhambra. Always order the har gow, siu mai, shrimp balls in rice, egg yolk pineapple custard buns and hot tea. The servers don't all speak fluent English but we make it work. Ordering is done by writing quantities on a paper menu with English descriptions.“

“Hands down one of the best dim sum restaurants I’ve ever been to. Just took out an order for our road trip and we were blown away. Everything is incredibly fresh and beautifully made. Flavors are so vibrant and delicious. I can’t recommend this place enough!!
The steamed shrimp dumplings, shrimp shumai, and egg tarts were our favorites!“
“Auntie Qiu Kitchen’s Pork XLB definitely hit the spot for my partner and me when we had cravings for XLB in Alhambra, didn’t get to try their crab and pork XLB but we'll have to come back to try it out! I definitely recommend the fried pork chop sticky rice cake, it’s super crispy, savory and the glaze on the pounded crispy rice cake is a great compliment. The server was nice and attentive and the food came out extremely fast!“

“Super awesome to see more Asian food in South El Monte. South El Monte is blooming and growing center for Asian and AAPI businesses since the community has affordable real estate, accessibility, and world class high school education that can promote students going to Stanford, Harvard, MIT Engineering programs. Since Asian parents love seeing their children reach Ivy League levels and programs, there have been so many businesses starting up from boba stores to dim sum and I hope in the future, Korean Fried Chicken and more. I enjoy having a spot in the community that I can go to and enjoy dim sum options as Hong Kong (HK) style egg tarts and more. There is also a new Vietnamese and Thai restaurant in the community that took over some old failing businesses in the region. The high school boasts having Japanese and Mandarin Chinese language education which is an interest and incentive for people and nearby Asian households to move over to South El Monte.“

“For the longest time, this was a very bad Bánh Mì Chè Cali that my friends used to love frequenting. 🙄 I hate my friends for having dragged me every time they were in town. That's why I'm SO ELATED with joy that this place has taken over! It's probably one of the cheaper dim sum options in town, and that's all they specialize in! Not a lot of seats for you to sit, but you get the idea: Take it home, and enjoy it in a familiar environment!
(。◕‿◕。) Ah...!
Are there better quality options? Maybe, but for the price and convenience, don't count these guys out!“

“Went on a Tuesday afternoon for a table of two. Service was great and attentive. Dishes came out fresh & hot, even the desserts.
Items ordered:
1. Snow cap bbq pork bun - this was the best thing we ate.
2. Cucumbers - cold, refreshing and a good flavor of black vinegar and garlic. We ordered two of these.
3. Chicken feet - meaty and good flavor, on the sweeter versus savory side though
4. Black bean spare ribs - not seasoned enough and pretty bland, would skip this
5. Shrimp rolls - honestly the worst one I ever tried. Absolutely no flavor in the filling. Recommend skipping to have room for other dishes.
6. Wagyu beef rolls - just a tad better than the shrimp rolls but would also skip
7. Taro cakes - took a while to come out but was super fresh and hot. Not bad but definitely a large order for just two.
8. Ha Gow - average, wished the mustard sauce was better, a bit watery and tasted different than what I am use to
9. Siu mai- average to good
10. Lava buns- came out warm but could be hotter, not too sweet and salty.
11. Egg tarts - average to good
12. Chicken wings with salt seasoning - tasty and came out super hot.
Overall, would come back maybe ideally with 3 people. Would skip most of the dim sum items and try the more lunch items. Dessert items here are executed pretty well. For $20 definitely easy to get moneys worth!“

“I've passed by this place many times. Sometimes there's limes of people. Always wanted to try their char siu bao. They have both steamed and baked types. I bought both types. I usually like the baked type more. But here both were good but I preferred the steamed ones more.“

“If you love the a la carte dim-sum to-go that you can get in downtown LA's Chinatown but don't want to drive that far and have to pay for parking and deal with the traffic then this is a great compromise. A little more expensive than the options you'll find in Chinatown but I save so much more time and money going here coming from Pomona that this is my new go-to for dim-sum in a pinch.“

“For the first time I was craving some dumplings and this was the spot to go. It was empty the first time I went but soon enough more people arrived, it was a warm cozy place. Food was amazing I just wanted to order more even with my small stomach. Overall I'd say it was a great dumpling experience!“

“Everything we had here was fantastic! I loved the mango iced tea because it actually tastes like mangos, the chicken was nice and crunchy on the outside, juice and delicious on the inside. We also had xiao baos and their dry noodles with peanut butter sauce which were both fantastic! I would recommend against getting their devils hot sauce unless you have like an amazing spice tolerance! I thought my spice tolerance was fine because i can handle tapatio and valentina easily but this sauce left me chugging my drink and feeling the chili under my tongue for hours!“

“Sea Harbour Seafood Restaurant is truly one of the best dim sum experiences in Los Angeles. The food is outstanding—everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, from the dumplings to the seafood dishes. You can really taste the quality in every bite.
The service is excellent, with staff who are attentive and efficient, even when the restaurant is busy. The dining area is clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it a great spot for both family gatherings and special occasions.
If you’re looking for authentic, top-quality dim sum and seafood, Sea Harbour is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try even more dishes!“
