“Fried chicken wing - Don't underestimate fried chicken wing, you can taste a good one compared to bad ones and this is one of the best I've had. Good garlic flavor and crispy fried flavor.Baked Spaghetti Bolognese - I was surprised how good this is. They use the good cheese and you can smell it. Crispy cheese on top and the sauce flavor is very good as well.Baked pork chop over rice - The sauce is above average. However, the pork chop could use more marinate, garlic and sesame oil. I think the pork chop they use is pork loin. Using more fatty pork will make it more tender and juicy.Portuguese style baked chicken rice - The flavor of the sauce actually was pretty good but I thought it taste a little sourness.All in all, I'm pretty impressed because I didn't expect it's this good.“

“We discovered Yan's a year ago and have been coming back ever since.
Yan's has a laidback, family-owned feel. The service is friendly, and I feel taken care of when I walk in.
The portions are generous so expect leftovers. The salt and pepper fried pork and the sticky rice cakes for dessert are my favorites every time.“

“We went here for the first time and the food was so GOOD!! The beef noodle took me by surprise!! The soup was rich and the beef is very tender. We went there on a week day so the there's no line waiting and the food was delivered very quickly as well.
We ordered the oyster cake, beef noodle soup and the other noodles. Everything was so good and we will definitely come back again!!! So delicious!!“

“Best Chinese restaurant. If you have not been there, please go! My family and I love their food. Everything is soo delicious and it is good value for money. My favorite dishes are the sweet and sour pork/chicken, Westlake soup, and the fillet of rock cod with pepper salt. It's my go-to comfort food, and I want everyone to know about it! It's so good I also want to keep it my little secret, ha, so selfish of me. :) - no pictures, I would just drool all over them.“

“If you’re local you know where to go (here). I don’t know how this place can afford to keep operating with their portion sizes in this economy but, as a customer, I’m certainly not complaining. Good ole Chinese takeout classics, absolute INSANE portions, decent flavor. The entrance is on the south east side of the corner. Takeout only. If you’re only looking to order items from the hot bar, it’s faster if you walk in. Super super popular on Friday nights. I highly recommend the beef chow fun and eggplants. If you’re ordering online, don’t bother with the platforms—give them a ring and they’ll tell you the exact wait time.“

“I found out about this gem because a coworker told me about it. I am so glad I came here after a work meeting for lunch. It was a delicious lunch. “I travelled from Riverside County to come eat at this restaurant and have heard such great reviews about it from my relatives and friends who live all the way in China! It was worth the drive and we will definitely be back again. Each dish is unique and they also have gluten free options as well as requested options. (My f5 year old is Gluten free).The bamboo and mushroom dish had a hint of sweetness with an undertone of spice, the Chong qing 🌶spicy chicken was mouth watering, along with the eggplant 🍆 dish, dry stir fried fish, and glass noodles with pork! I enjoyed every dish and my kids enjoyed their shrimp fried rice dish and greens as well. Our family is a foodie family and we love ❤️ traveling far and near to try dishes from around the world. The Chef came out and greeted us and was So kind. The staff was very attentive and friendly with our children. I would highly recommend this establishment. Thank you!! 🙏💕😁“

“Came for a dinner. Surprisingly this new one was much better than the old one. Foods were delicious, close to Hong Kong taste. Portions not small. “Stopped by The Mandarin Chinese while hoping for some great Chinese food in town. The location was convenient, and the space itself is quite nice, with the added bonus of upstairs seating. Service was smooth; we came on a Friday evening, got seated right away, and dishes arrived in a steady flow.
Unfortunately, the experience was a bit mixed. The sizzling rice soup was disappointing; it came out lukewarm and didn’t sizzle at all, with a watered-down broth. Definitely underwhelming.
That said, the rest of the meal was much better. We ordered Spicy Beef Tendon, Salt and Pepper Tofu, Garlic Snow Pea Leaves, Eggplant in Spicy Sauce, and Kung Pao Chicken. Every dish was flavorful, and the Szechuan-style seasoning really stood out. The beef tendon dish, in particular, looked and tasted great.
Overall, while not everything hit the mark (and prices felt a bit high), the main dishes were strong enough to make it a solid option for Szechuan cravings; just maybe skip the soup.“

“Get the recommended specials. They are all insane. Szechuan spicy chicken isn’t mala or “numbing” but is still very good. Walnut shrimp is excellent.
Would pass on the lemon chicken.

“This area has a lot of great little restaurants and this is one of them. Had the beef brisket soup and the broth was very hearty and the meat basically melted in my mouth. The fresh noodles just topped it all off *chef's kiss*. Service was fairly quick and no hassles. Prices were reasonable, especially for fresh hand made noodles.“

“I had such a great experience here! The hotpot came in a beautifully designed pot that kept the broth bubbling and full of fresh vegetables, mushrooms, and bok choy. The beef was sliced perfectly thin, with great marbling for flavor, and the hand-pulled noodles were chewy and satisfying. Everything tasted fresh, clean, and high quality. The portion sizes were generous, and it felt like a balanced, hearty meal. On top of that, the presentation was gorgeous. The pot itself is a work of art. “How I just LOVED this restaurant. Me and some family members went here after a boring fishing trip and it made my day! The rice was perfectly cooked, the dishes had large portions enough for the three of us, and the pot stickers were cooked to perfection. The service was great, it was fast and easy! “Charming Chinese restaurant in Millbrae that focuses on the Sichuan cuisine. The Mapo tofu was delicious, and the cold spicy noodles were superb. Beef noodle soup was surprisingly good as well. Fast and efficient service. Interior is small, so not ideal for large parties. Parking can be challenging, as the free parking lot fills up fast and is shared with several other local businesses.“

“Our favorite restaurant in the Bay! I almost didn’t want to write a review because we like to keep it a secret…:)
We love to order a lot and eat the leftovers for a few days. We usually get the combination fried rice, a choy, basil eggplant, sizzling pepper beef, green onion lamb, and small hot and sour soup which comes with tofu. This order can easily feed four people.
Very fair prices, especially for the area.
The staff is always friendly and quick.
The atmosphere is relaxed. Pleasant music in the background. We usually see families or friend groups but people enjoy the food so much that conversation never gets too loud.
There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
The restaurant has a parking lot in the back and there is free street parking in the front.“

“I’m a huge fan of Malatang, and Zhangliang in San Mateo has the best in the Bay Area. It does get busy, but the wait is always worth it. The ingredient selection is extensive, and I always go for the classic bone broth—it’s rich, flavorful, and has that perfect numbing kick. Orders come out quickly and are piping hot, ready to enjoy.“

“This place is busy, which says a lot for a pre-security location in the International Terminal. It's located on the A-side. If you don't see it, you're probably on the G-side of the international terminal.

“Yan gon is a family own Burmese restaurant on broadway Burlingame. The owner and the entire staff were extremely friendly , attentive , courteous . helpful, and welcoming . Their dishes are delicious . I have tried their Burmese Style Curry Lamb , Singapore Street noodles, Deep fried Chicken Wings , and Wor Wonton Soup. All four dishes were delicious, but my favorite is the won ton soup . This soup is perfect , it's so healthy and brothy. The broth is so rich that left a long lasting mouthwatering and coating sensation lingering in my tongue. The wontons are so tasty , juicy , and flavorful with the right amount of , I believe was pork , ginger , garlic ,chopped onions , sugar, salt , pepper , and shrimps . . The shrimps were very tastey and fresh . It didn't have that strange scent of ammonia or fishy smell like spoiled shrimps . The restaurant is simple , bright , clean , casual ambience with ample seatings. I have been here many times and got seated right away. No wait . This restaurant is a must try if you have the craving for Burmese food or just want to try something new.“

Where you can find quality handcrafted food. I loved everything I’d ordered. From dim sum, milk tea, white sauce, marinated pork ribs and chicken feet, baked egg custard, to specialty traditional Hong Konger soup of the day!
I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have experience this taste again, I left HK back in 2006. This place tasted like home, my childhood, I wonder if they are from Kwun Tong too!

“Really good Chinese BBQ place. All of the bread items we tried were flaky and tasty, highly recommend the brown sugar one. The skewers were all solid, and I appreciated that the beef had a more teriyaki-style flavor, because too much cumin starts to get a bit sameish. In that regard, you should consider getting an order of the lettuce leaves to use as a wrap for the skewers, it's a great palette cleanser and adds some nice texture.
Would love to go again, but it's a bit far from my house and Chinese BBQ isn't something you can do too frequently.“

Szechuan noodle soup was extremely good!
Smashed Cucumber Salad, solid! Seasoning was very well balanced.
Two remaining dishes that were great, but not standouts like the Szechuan Soup.
Beef & corn steamed dumplings were juicy and flavorful.
Pork XLB was well executed as well.
The server was attentive, provided good recommendations, brought a free side dish of well executed cucumber salad to round out the meal as well & boxed leftovers.
Pleasantly surprised by that level of service for a casual weeknights dumpling spot.“
