“Respectable Korean bbq, good cuts of meat, nice sides, friendly staff, and nice that it's a little bit off of the beaten path and so usually it's not as crowded as other places. The spicy Ribeye is excellent.
This is not an all-you-can-eat establishment so be warned. But overall really good food.
Note: I've never had Korean TERRA beer before, but man, it went perfect with the meal!“

“I almost NEVER leave reviews but I have to after eating here. The owner and chef, Johnnie, was up front and went over some of the different options to chose from. He was absolutely awesome! We settled on a chicken parm sandwich with bbq chips, the fried chicken with ginger rice, and my son had the pastrami fries. We all LOVED our food. My wife let me have a bite of her chicken parm and it was one of these I have ever had. I will definitely be going back and hopefully I can sit on their back patio and enjoy some more food. Highly recommend!!“

“Glad this place opened up in Soma and stays open later than 9 pm. Great food, consistently good service. Food has always been great, everything from the skewers to the beef and fish pot, always good size portions and a fair price. They now have their liquor license with wine and beer on the menu. Beer is about $5 which is very fare compared to other places in the area. My only request is a happy hour.“

“3.5-ish. Came here with a reservation on a weeknight and the first thing we noticed was the very strong meat grilling smell and bright fluorescent lighting. Naturally the smell would be a given with this type of restaurant but it took away from the upscale ambience a bit. Our bill came out to over $500 for two people. The meat was good and our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, but we left wondering if we could have had a similar meal down the street at Gyu-Kaku for less than half the price.“

Was decent Korean food. Everything was right amount of sweat and spicy. The sides were delish too. Nothing to complain about the fried rice either. Everything was right texture too.

“Visited in December 2024, looking for flaky fried taro dim sum.
When we inquired about the taro, we were told that they did have the dish. It was in the wrong form: steamed skin instead of fried with flaky edges

The steamed taro dumpling with ground meat is okay, not amazing. The right filling, but we wanted the fried ones.

We had just purchased multiple boxes of dim sum from 2 other shops so we didn't try anything else. Maybe next time.

“Everything was great! The food, staff, ambience. Its a cute little restaurant, perfect for families and friends. The staff was super accommodating and they altered the dishes for us since most of us don’t eat red meat. We tried the Soft Tofu, Duk Boki, Korean Kimchi Pancakes and Bibimbap. Each dish was great, the bibimbap was a little bland but the sides made up for that.“

All for $9.50. there might be an additional dollar or two for the occasional more expensive fare. It feeds two people easily. Great deal. Two meals and done. No leftovers.“

“Super sweet local place with phenomenal prices and pretty good food. I ordered the rib combo and the beef spare rib was my favorites, but short rib and pork ribs weren’t bad. The ribs all come marinated in a thick sweet sauce that is really sticky but I overall liked it. Bean sprouts were marinated a little on the stronger side, but fresh and tasted good. Not my absolute favorite kbbq place, but it’s really up there.“
