“Best pizza spot in the Richmond. Their pizzas are all fantastic (on the crispier/thin side) and their daily specials are always awesome (although a bit expensive for what you get). The melon feta salad was incredible with a mix of feta, melon and a red onion vinaigrette.“

“Definitely not your typical brunch. We loved the Filipino inspired creations. Don’t skip the French toast with caviar hollandaise, crumbled bacon, and shrimp. It’s AMAZING!“

“Really sumptuous lobster roll. The butter flavoured brioche was loaded with a generous amount of fresh lobster meat. It was not overly seasoned which allowed the original lobster savouriness to shine through. The price doesn't come cheap but it's still worth it given the large portion and quality of the lobster. It was definitely the best lobster roll I have ever had.“

“My mom and I came here when visiting the Legion of Honor, and it's a cozy quiet shop near a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We got a bagel and a daily special - it was only $10 and it was so good! The woman serving was so nice and the service was great. Would recommend if you are looking for a straightforward lunch and coffee spot!“

“Today Food was incredible! We ordered scallion pancakes and veggie soup dumplings, and they were soooo good (the vinegar sauce is also life changing!!) The absolute best part was the service, though. Everyone was so friendly, and made the casual experience so special.
I actually left my bag outside, and Frank stopped someone trying to steal it. I came back right after, and he had it ready for me, letting me know what happened and to double check my belongings. Above and beyond service, even after we left!!!!!! Thank you again, Frank, for saving us (and my wallet!!!)“

“This place is a gem. It's near to Union square, the cable cars, and munno. It's walking distance to some great places like Chinatown and Salesforce Park. The staff went above and beyond for my birthday trip: handwritten wishes, free cappuccino with my breakfast, and lots of verbal birthday wishes. The shower is great temperature and pressure. The bed is super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you Sylvia in PLS restaurant for our breakfast service. Thank you Lina at the front desk..“

“The food and coffee were great! Atmosphere indoors can be a bit loud during peak hours. Service was quick and the staff were friendly.
The bar stools inside vary in height and some were too low with respect to the table board across the wall. Otherwise a great place to have breakfast/brunch!“

“We dined in the covered Hot House and it was tight when it filled up. I had to keep maneuvering when the server had to drop food to other tables. Aside from that, the evening was full of good food, good service, and libations. Don't miss the fried anchovies, batarga potato salad, chips & dip, crudo, and clams!“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

“A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.“

“My favorite thing here is the linguine with mussels. I never order anything else, so I can't really comment on the rest of the menu. My husband had the burger, which he thought was fine, and the couple behind us had the skirt steak which he wished he'd ordered. Wine and beer list is great.“

“Really excellent coffee experience here, especially if you enjoy specialty coffee. Far and away my favorite spot in SF.
Would recommend giving the coffee flight a shot if you’re interested in a little variety. Baristas are super friendly and knowledgeable about the rotating list of coffees.
As far as location, this spot on Balboa was my favorite. Give it a shot!“

“Liholiho is a fantastic restaurant! The space is modern and beautifully designed, with an open kitchen where you can watch everything being prepared, which adds a lot of energy and transparency to the dining experience.
The service was very friendly, attentive, and quick. The cocktails were excellent, and even the non-alcoholic one I ordered was made with care and tasted great.
The food was outstanding. The bun with beef tongue was extraordinary, the tuna tartare and ceviche were perfectly balanced and fresh, and the shrimps with crispy rice were especially memorable. All dishes showed creativity, originality, and were prepared with high quality ingredients.
For three people, including first and main courses, drinks, and one dessert, the bill came to $260, which I found fair for this level of quality. The only minus point is that the restaurant does not offer coffee, which would have been a nice way to finish the meal.
Overall, I really enjoyed everything at Liholiho. Highly recommended, and I hope I will get to return again!“
