“We had our first cold brew here, and it did not disappoint. I’ve had several cold brews since, and none have come close to this one. The coffee was smooth, refreshing, and an excellent way to start the day. The Presidio location is fantastic, with a relaxed atmosphere and a lovely setting to sit and enjoy your drink. A great spot to recharge, not far from the Yoda Fountain.“
“This is a great Starbucks! In my experience the service has been very friendly and professional as well as quick, even in busy times. There are seats and cheerful lighting. My drink is always made delicious and correct. The vanilla bean custard snack is also so good! Thank you!“
“My best matcha Latte ever … and best Starbucks employee Dani 💗👏👏👏
… Good news Brian Niccol! Let me introduce you to a model Starbucks employee who creates organic reviews and makes customers with little time, stop to give you wonderful feedback! Dani .. your barista at the Starbucks branch at 1700 Owens Street, San Francisco. She is wonderful not only for the quality of her impeccable matcha latte, but for the wonderful warmth and quality of Dani's customer service! Hey Starbucks team! You should use this girl as a model of leadership and example! Don't let her beauty and friendliness distract you, Dani is young, but her leadership stands out, she knows how to manage with kidness and above all excellence her brilliant work. After seeing her work with other customers, with speed and great communication and observing how she interacts in synchrony of efficiency and cordiality, this girl deserves a promotion! And Starbucks, a round of applause for hiring such a distinguished employee.“
“At first glance, this is a really cozy Starbucks, with a simple but cool interior. The staff are friendly and welcoming. However, this place is also a bit of a hotspot for the homeless. While we were sitting there, almost more homeless people came in asking for water than customers came in. For this reason, the toilets were also not very nice, as they were used for other than toilet visits.“
“Always a cozy spot to relax with a great cup of coffee! The baristas are super friendly and quick, making it a perfect place to grab my morning pick-me-up. Love their seasonal drinks as well; they've got something new to try every time!“
“Nice Starbucks with fast friendly service. Clean bathroom. No vagrants living in or around the restaurant. Coffee was good and pastry was fresh. Curbside pay parking nearby. You can usually find a space if you circle at least once. Only Starbucks in the area with parking near.“
“That service has improved tremendous. Some days they have a dedicated person clean. With the change in the Starbucks Model,
When possibly bring Duhn to your camp.
Now they have someone checking in for people who have Mobile orders .
If you are a regular, they call you by your name.
Give her, napkins, and Dreams thinking are almost always. Filled.“
“I came here on a hot day, I was in the area where I was in need of a refresher to cool me down. Upon arrival, the interior was dim and the air conditioning was on which felt so good. I was greeted by their very welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs which made my visit a satisfying and memorable one. The shop itself was very clean for a Starbucks. They offer many kinds of coffee, lattes, refreshing drinks, Frappuccinos, snacks, sandwiches, pastries and much more to choose from. All the drinks are made to order which is always a plus for me, because I do not mind the wait since I am a very patient person. I would have to say having a Starbucks here is a win, because it is on a Main Street and it is always someone’s craving. I highly recommend this place to all coffee enthusiasts, if you are in need of a quick bite, or to anyone looking for a laid back place to hangout at or to get some work done. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious/refreshing options they have to offer.“
“I've depended on Starbuck's since I moved to San Francisco during 2001, and enjoy their fast service and range of drinks and upfront politeness with earnest customers.☕ Starbuck's has closed certain restaurants in San Francisco only to open newer ones in other locations.🙋“
“I visited the Starbucks Coffee Company in May 2024 in San Francisco - Union Square, CA. All the foods and drinks are excellent in a luxury city. This is next to Geary Street in San Francisco - Union Square. All the services were excellent as well as the atmosphere. My favorite coffee was Caramel Crunch coffee that feels like the mood and happiness. This place is popular and rich.“
“I stopped in for my afternoon coffee. Everyone was super friendly. My drink is a little complicated and the barista made sure they were making it exactly how I wanted it. That really meant a lot to me. Loved seeing there commitment to their craft. Will be coming by next time I am in the neighborhood.“
“I walked in today and ordered honey citrus mint tea and a impossible breakfast sandwich and ray took my order he was so nice to me I like good customer service this was my first time going in there I'll go there again in the future 2/2/26“
“Of course it was five stars it's a Starbucks. They're all alone. Although this one is in a grocery store. That's okay. Google maps had a little trouble telling me exactly where it is though because it said I had a ride then I looked there and I didn't see it but I didn't see a Starbucks and I'll figure it out maybe I better go check out Safeway and see if there's a Starbucks there there and sure enough there it was.“
“I ordered from Door Dash and received something that was not what I expected. I paid for extra base on my drink; I ordered two just in case my drink would be watery. So, I reordered and called the store directly. They were very helpful especially the person I spoke with, Morgan. She made sure I would receive the correct order this time, They also sent me the tall size order; it's still light pink but it's okay. I appreciate the effort, which was most important since I was also working in customer service. Thank you, I appreciate it.“
“One of the best starbucks i been too and i been to hundreds. No outlets which is a hipster coffee shop thing. Go to apple store and charge. Then come here for coffee. The staff is excellent. Cheers. Starbucks needs to give these folks a raise. And bonuses. And more. Never been treated better.“
“I kmow that its a stuggle working in cafes, especially in downtown SF, so being able to come into a Starbucks where workers are friendly and kind is a plus. NEVER had a bad experience at this starbucks and I want to say THANK you to the workers! I know your job is tough“
“There is no drive through at this location - I called to check because Google seems to think there is. How great was it - in 2026 - to be able to call a store and get an actual person who was super helpful and friendly. Thank you! 5 stars for not using AI for this (and the friendly phone - answerer!)“
“I ordered a Raspberry Foam Cold Brew and it's definitely one of my favorite flavor combinations with the blending of sweet and bitter. The location itself is large and open with an industrial aesthetic which is pretty standard and on trend at the moment. The wait for my coffee was kind of crazy though (15 min) and this location is the closest to me but it would take a solid 20-30 minutes to walk there. There used to be a Starbucks 5 minutes away, but they closed it, along with another location in the neighborhood, and I rarely go to Starbucks anymore as a result. It's disappointing, but I'm learning to like Peet's.“
“In general, Starbucks is really good. Well, coffee is. I mean, it's a bean, you add hot water and you filter. Dora the explorer, or coffee 101. How about a round of applause for the baristas and Jason Bourne Janitors here at CSUDH! GO BREWERS!“
“Today was my first time in this Starbucks and I must say I was quite impressed. The place had a real calm vibe to isic wasn't to loud and it was very relaxing. The staff here were super friendly and the service was quick. I had a great experience at this Starbucks and if I am in this neighborhood again I will definitely come back here.“
“Always a pleasant experience at this Starbucks location. The place is clean, cozy, and the atmosphere is comfortable for relaxing or getting some work done. The baristas here are very friendly, and they consistently prepare drinks exactly how you want. Service is fast, even during busy hours, and the store is always well-maintained. A reliable spot for good coffee and a quick break during the day.“
“I usually love Starbucks but for some reason this morning they had a issue with adding the amount of caramel drizzle I asked for on the bottom of the cup? Recommended the dark sauce that I dislike alot... But wen I got it it was about a 7 out of 10.“
“We have been coming in this store with my baby ever since he was 1 year old , the crew is amazing and they know us service is always great super friendly and very supportive, at times when is busy drinks take a while but that is understandable .“
“Good location (next to Trader Joe’s & Cable Car), busy but not bad wait time. I go here at least once a week around the same time and Isaac always remembers my name and drink, what a nice kid! All the staff is friendly, the place is clean, and drinks are consistent“
“I usually go to Starbucks on 24th Street. Food and Coffee are reasonably priced. Service is good and there’s always a place to sit and enjoy. I usually have their protein container of cheese, fruits and crackers with a cup of their Coffee.“
“San Francisco’s most underrated coffee shop is not Hedge.
It’s the Starbucks on Buchanan in the Marina.
It has everything:
3.9 stars (should be 4.3).
Barista Anne from CCSF who remembers your name.
Order-ahead arbitrage (zero line).
Coffee priced like the rest of America.
Caution-tape chic... courtesy of F1 weekend.
No Saharan vinyl.
No neutral-tone dress code.
Just efficient caffeine.
Let’s move it from 3.9 to 4.3. ⭐️📈☕️“
“I was there back in 2022. It was early in the morning, everything was closed. My phone almost dead, no maps no nothing in that city, I stumbled upon this Starbucks on King st. And I had a pleasure of meeting one of the sweetest souls ever. I do not remember the name of the barista, unfortunately. I was genuinely amazed by their vibes and just had this sudden urge to give them a compliment, and I did. And I thought nothing much of it. But then when I took my card out to pay for the hot chocolate they said “It’s on me”. I did not expect it, and It was one of the sweetest memory of that whole trip. They were the first person i interacted with in San Francisco, and it definitely gave a great start to the trip. Whoever you were, I want you to know that I remember you, and I told every single one of my friends about how kind you were to me. Thank you for the sweet memory.“
“Gotta love the 6$ drink and pastry combo. The staff made an effort to understand my order, albeit a bit complex. I didn’t want coffee or matcha or iced tea. I wanted to try something from their warm tea line. They offered to steam the milk which nobody does for me. They asked relevant questions and prepared a calm drink in a world filled with chaos. The pastry and warm beverage made for a delightful in store experience which is what I imagine the brand conceptualized when opening the first in store Starbucks at the Mollie Stones in Pacific Heights. I wasn’t at the Mollie Stones in Pacific Heights, I was at the Safeway in Potrero Center, but throughout my shopping experience in this chaotic world I felt like I was at the very least a little fancy and I think that had to do a lot with the service and brand recognition.“
“I usually don't go to the Starbucks inside Target, but this location is exceptionally clean and spacious. Barista Hannah was so kind to remake our drink when I mentioned it wasn't to my liking; she had a wonderful attitude and ensured the second drink met our expectations. Thank you, Hannah!“
“It’s Starbucks what can I say. Unfortunately they can’t hold on to good employees because the cost of living in this area is so high. As soon as I get to know a barista well enough for them to do my drink right they move on. Due to a constant turnover of staff I ranked them 4⭐️and that was generous.“
“I work here. We try our best for the nonstop lines that we get all day. We don't receive tips like normal Starbucks so it kinda wears down on our energy. So if you come in with a positive attitude and remember to say thank u it really makes our day. We don't ask for much but patience and gratitude. Oh and try not to stare to hard at us when we make your drinks lol it makes us feel like we're zoo animals. Thank u guys ♥️“
“This is the best Starbucks crew I've ever come across.. they pay attention to detail.. very customer friendly... I can't say enough about how good they are.. Starbucks should be proud to have these well trained baristas.. (it is inside of a Safeway so they take food stamps)“
“I was greeted immediately upon entering by the kind partner, Ahmad, and ordered an iced blonde americano that was made perfectly by Kayla, the barista. This store has really improved from years past, and I am glad to see them living the Starbucks Mission and Values!!!
5 Key Moments met with green apron service. Lets goooo Starbucks Chestnut.“
“If you are an upper manager and monitoring the reviews, you need to know that the current crew are working very hard and this branch is located in a very desirable location, so they need help. They are understaffed and running and can’t get the orders done on time because of the high volume. You need to send them more trained crew here.“
“I wanted to take a moment and give a big shout out to Gaby. They were out of muffins one day, I came back the next morning and she said “we’ve got your blueberry muffin today!!” She remembered me from the day before. This is exemplary customer service. Thank you so much, Gaby!!“
“Not much to say, other than if you want a quick bite and coffee, this Starbucks was surprisingly fast! Right in the middle of the international arrival terminal, baristas had a pep to their step and they had a good number to support large volume of orders, thanks for a pleasant experience Starbucks at the airport!“
“The baristas are focused and friendly, and I can tell they work hard and run a tight ship here.
The space is just about perfect for long study sessions if you can snag a large table. They should offer more tables of a larger size/rectangle shape. There are lots of outlets, even USB ports which I rarely ever see but need often.
I seriously love that this Starbucks gives me a ceramic mug when I order for-here. They even gave me a free tea, served in a mug, when I tried to purchase a second cup!
I wish I could point the lights in a different direction so I don't get as much glare when I work at the bench tables, but, they'd need a ladder. Overall though the lighting is nice and warm toned and I can still sit for hours working on my laptop. Very cozy in here especially at the cushiony benches and tables by the window.
Thanks to the staff for being so chill (and letting me study here for many many hours,) it really makes a positive difference!“
