“This is a one-man show. The owner is also the cook and the waiter. We're all impressed how he got it all done by himself.
The restaurant is spacious and clean. It wasn't crowded when we came. Service was good.
We ordered many different dishes.
- Our favorite was the scrispy rice paper combo ($5.5 each), crap and asparagus soup ($12.5) and chicken wings. I also liked my flan coffee.
- The grilled sate squid was cooked well (not over cooked), the char was nice but we didn't like the squid texture (it's not his fault, I don't think, it's just the squid itself).
- The street corns was decent but it needs a bit more fish sauce and maybe sugar.
Overall, we were happy with our visit and liked our food.“

“I came here to treat my brother for lunch for fixing our mom’s door lock, and I had a craving for sushi. The sushi at Mimi’s Kitchen was very tasty and the chef laid out our entire order very decoratively on a cute black stone platter, I give them a “10” for artistry! The miso soup was tasty as well. The menu is only Prices were decent; I’ve eaten at places where the sushi rolls were much higher in price. Try out this place, it doesn’t disappoint. The outdoor mall has a very large CVS, you get off of Snell from Blossom Hill Road, and drive into the mall. The restaurant is not visible off the street, it’s next to a hair salon in an inside corner, but keep looking for the restaurant, and you’ll find it. I plan to come back to check out the other dishes that are served in the stone pots on another visit!
Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to wheel around in a wheelchair.“
“The food was great. I got the lemongrass beef vermicelli for $15 and my dining companions got the beef, shrimp and egg roll vermicelli bowl, same price. The price appeared to include tax. Most of the meals cost that much and they had a wide variety of meals, much more than the average Vietnamese spot. The entry to the store wasn't super disabled accessible. It seems like they are doing some construction in the parking lot. The owner says he's usually there by 9:00 or 9:30 a.m. and he closes at 8:30 p.m. He appeared to be the only person in the shop. He said he said the hours online from 11:00 to 8:00 for online orders but you can go in in person before that. He accepted an order on the phone without us paying until we got there. He takes cards and cash.“

“One of my favorite marketplaces in San Jose. The classic Tonkotsu ramen is what I order most times. The bowl of noodles comes out quick. It can certainly get crowded at peak times so be prepared to wait in line. The market itself has a ton of unique things including Japanese confections that aren’t readily available in the US.“

“Had our holiday company dinner this year at Elements after trying it one night just before they closed. It’s in a strip mall off of Almaden in South San Jose. But once you walk inside, it feels classy with a big glass wine cellar to the right, and an open kitchen towards the back. The restaurant is family-owned and operated. The chef and his father both work there, with possibly more family working other positions. It was packed with patrons on a Friday night.
Their fusion cuisine is quite unique in that it is more French and Western than Vietnamese. So there are dishes such as Salmon Wellington that you would never see at a Vietnamese restaurant. For appetizers we ordered fried softshell crab, spring rolls and green salad. All solid in terms of taste and freshness.
For entrees, each person at our table ordered a different dish. I ordered the Salmon Wellington, which was nicely breaded, in a plate of cream. There was a thick cheese inside the breading surrounding the perfectly cooked salmon. I tried the Australian rack of lamb, also well cooked and seasoned.
The desserts were not quite on the level of the entrees. My colleagues had to chip away at the peach sorbet because it was frozen solid. The chocolate cake was spongy and tasty, but the ice cream on top was ordinary.
The drink menu was somewhat of a surprise in that they didn’t have any cocktails. Unsurprisingly, they had a wide variety of wine and some beer, but I had expected some creative cocktails given the food menu but I guess I didn’t see a bar there.
If you happen to be on the south side and want to have a unique French-Vietnamese meal, I recommend Elements.
Parking: Strip mall parking lot.“

“Affordable and delicious southeast Asian and Chinese food! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious with beautiful dishes.
We had the Singapore Stir Fried Noodles, the Pad Thai, and the Mango Eggplant.
They also take food allergies very seriously and can accommodate dishes accordingly.
Parking can be a little difficult with only 6-7 spaces in front of the restaurant.“

“I've tried several Sizzling Lunch locations in different cities but it's the first time I've visited this one. It was on a busy Sunday so there was no to available tables, so our party of 4 walked in, signed up for the waiting list, and in about 15 minutes the text that our table is ready came in.
We were seated and ordered our food, which came out very fast. It was hot, delicious, and we were very happy with the service. The fries were absolutely amazon tasting and became my favorite appetizers. The main courses were also good and we had a really nice lunch.
The food was very filling and the ambiance of the restaurant was very welcoming“

“Tried something entirely new eating at Urban Momo last week and it was incredible. I had the Gobi Manchurian, my partner had a curry, and we split a mixed fried rice and naan. Everything was flavorful, spiced (not spicy), fresh, and really delicious. Add great service and a cool location in San Mateo Market and this place is worth a trip. I don't live in San Jose, but if I did I would be coming here often. I've thought about our meal a lot over the past week!“

“I recently visited Four points By Sheraton and had the pleasure of being served by Ignacio . From the moment I sat down, their warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. They took the time to recommend drinks based on my preferences, and their knowledge of the menu was impressive.
What stood out most was their genuine kindness; they engaged in conversation, asked about my day, and made sure I was enjoying my experience. It’s rare to find someone who not only serves but also creates a welcoming atmosphere.
Thanks to Ignacio my visit was memorable, and I can't wait to come back for another round. Highly recommend!“

“If you're craving Cambodian cuisine, make sure to visit Angkor Chef, a fantastic Cambodian restaurant located in downtown San Jose. Owned by Channy Laux - Chef and her husband, they've been serving up delicious dishes for about 6 months now. Tina and I were thoroughly impressed by their excellent service and mouthwatering food. The restaurant boasts a sleek and modern design, and we particularly loved the beef skewers (សាច់គោចាកាក់). We definitely will come back for more. #supportlocalbusiness #khmerfood“

“My daughter and I absolutely love the Restaurant .we visit every week, and it’s become our favorite spot for delicious meals. The moment we walk in, we’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere, but it’s the food that keeps us coming back.
Every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. My daughter’s favorite is the Eggplant Fish dish, and I always look forward to the it. Each bite is full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and made with fresh ingredients. The balance of taste in every dish is just incredible, and the portions are generous . We can’t recommend it· enough if you’re looking for a place with consistently mouthwatering food. It’s our weekly go-to, and we always leave happy and satisfied.“

“Good good good. The dumplings are juicy and delicious. The beef noodle broth is tasty as well as the minced chicken. The noodles themselves are okay. The green onion pancake is crispy fried to satisfaction.
I like ordering a few small things so this place is great. Good spot.
The Dan Dan noodle I was absolutely not a fan of. Not for me.“

“We were initially thrilled about the variety of ramen options, but our excitement turned into disappointment when we realized that all ramen choices featured pork broth. Unfortunately, there were no pure vegetarian, vegan, or chicken alternatives. As a result, we opted for bento box selections, specifically the Chicken Karaage Curry and BBQ Chicken. Arriving around 9 pm on a weekday, we found that noodles were already unavailable, so we had to settle for rice only. Despite this, we enjoyed the well-presented and flavorful BBQ Chicken more than the Karaage Chicken, although the curry portion wasn't sufficient for all four chicken pieces. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but we wished for more diverse options, especially in the ramen selection.“

“Love, love Venus. My family’s favorite place. Highly recommend the baked pork chop rice, it’s a Hong Kong classic, and I love the baked spaghetti too. Also the gravy style beef chow fun, beef stew with rice noodles soup, XO rice rolls if they have it, and the pan fried noodles with pork and bean sprouts. Is your mouth watering yet? If you know Hong Kong cafe food, it should be!!“

“I went to this place many years ago so I can’t really compare it to now and how much it’s changed because it’s been so long. After seeing an Instagram post about it I had to come and try the tom yum wings. Never had tom yum flavor wings before and it was interesting. The wings were thick and seasoned just right. As soon as I dipped into the sauce I knew it was about to be on. I got a combo plate too which I believe was $14 but upgrading to garlic noodles +3 and extra for the eggroll it came to about $20. The combo was good, came with a salad too. Next time I’ll try the fried rice. This location was nice and clean and the service was fast. She kept updating me on when my order would be done.“

We ordered the garlicky green beans which we love, Tom Yum Goong dumplings which were yummy, Xi'an Dumplings vegetable were tasty, Pork Gyoza were very good and unique crispy toppings and shrimp garlic noodles were good but a little too creamy for K.“
