“The food was the bomb! The mac and cheese was off the hook delicious. I couldn’t stop eating it! My hot link was cooked perfectly. My wife had the fried fish with the yams and fries, and loved it. In fact, my son, who had the maple pecan waffles and chicken, finished off my wife’s fish, along with the cornbread muffin and fries. The food was so delicious that my wife came back to the downtown location the next night with her friends before they went to see “ And Juliet” at Broadway San Jose! We definitely will be back to the downtown location before our next Broadway SJ show,and plan to go to the other location on Monday!“

“At poke places, it is so important for the food to be fresh. You don't have to worry about this here. The staff is willing to help you arrange your bowl if you want any suggestions about pairings. Highly recommend!“

“One of many Hawaiian BBQ spots I've been tok and it is really solid.

Nothing was bad and pretty much everything was a bit above average compared to other similar spots. Spam musubi was a little salty however.

Pricing is a tad higher then other Hawaiian BBQ spots though.“

“The caterer for my daughter's wedding canceled a week before the wedding. Latin-Asian-Fusion Kitchen came through with exactly what was needed. The help was sincere and the food was great. Everybody complimented the food and there was plenty. Roddy responded to us promptly and kept in touch throughout the week and event. Great experience!!“

“It's a food truck restaurant. But they have covered seating which they share with another pop up Mexican restaurant.A sign in the sidewalk directs you inside a driveway. It's the covered restaurant right there in the left. You can't tell because the sign is for the restaurant they share the eating space with.Menu is very limited but it's well prepare and good.Lumpia is fresh; he rolls and then deep fries them right there. The chicken with garlic rice is tasty. The garlic rice is actually white rice topped with toasted garlic. Try the pork and tocino skewers.“

“JC's has been my go-to BBQ spot for over 25 years. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their beef ribs! The meat is always falling off the bone. And they're big! The hot links are addictive, the chicken is perfect and when I used to work close by, on my lunch break I would frequently get their pulled pork. I'm obsessed with the garden salad & dressing!! Always so consistently fresh and crisp! Would recommend 10 out of 10!“

“Biggggg ups to the folks at Olioli. The serving size here is spectacular. The variety in the food on your plate is diverse enough to keep the otherwise heavy meat bearable. The white rice can be substitued for greens or brown rice. The food is well-seasoned with nothing too overbearing as long as your plate is t all BBQ. The musubi was good enough that I didn't get any sideshot before my girlfriend and I ate them all. The people here are chill and they keep the place clean enough. You can order at your table or at the front counter but do note that there's a service fee, ordering at the table. If you enjoy Hawaiian BBQ, you owe it to yourself to stop by if you're in the area.“

“Hole in the wall Korean BBQ and ramen joint. Don't expect much for ambiance, just a walkup counter and take your food to go. There's no restroom available and no free water.The cheese ramen is a delicious surprise - creamy, with a smidge of spice. The sandwiches are a pile of meat on bread, no veggies and sides are extra. I got the King sandwich, which is a pile of pork rib meat and hot links on a simple white bread roll. It was very good, but I'd like to add kimchi next time for some variety.“

“I love bbq chicken ❤️I eat it twice a month. I always order two kinds of boneless chicken and cheese sticks. There are two types of batter, one is crunchy. The other is crispy like tempura. Both are very delicious 😋 The spicy seasoning is really spicy, so it doesn't suit me. People who like spicy food will be satisfied.“

“The Monterey Rd restaurant is kuddos 5stars. The restaurant is always clean, the service is great the delivery is quick and OMG the food is impeccable good. “I have been a big fan of Yummy Tofu for years, and looks like it’s now under new management.

Food is slightly different than before, the side dishes used to be more traditional which is personal preference.

Sogongdong Tofu Town piles on the flavor and I never feel like I’m eating bland, Americanized Korean food. If this were LA, I might bump it down a star because the food scene there is so competitive. But many restaurants here can’t even deliver the basic flavors right, so I’m thrilled to discover this place conveniently tucked in an Hmart. The soondubu jjigae (”tofu soup”) here is stellar and as good as any that you’ll find in K-Town LA!“

“This is my go to place when I want to eat something warm. In my opinion their noodle soup is unique to others because theirs are always hot (temperature wise). This seems to an ignorable factor but for some reason they just always do it better. In this picture I posted is the roasted duck rice sticks soup. The portion of the duck is generous and delicious. The soup and the rice sticks are light but flavorful. This is perhaps the best noodle soup I enjoy among all kinds.“

The spicy pork and the kimchi beef stew are some favorites, not too spicy but spicy enough that you get a nice kick out of it. The ribs are our favorites hands down. They're sweet and nicely grilled. The roast pork should have better skin, since the one here the skin didn’t crackle all the way thru so it’s a little tough. But the meat is super tender. The roast duck is not as fatty and it’s super flavorful“

“From the outside, this place doesn't look like much, but drop any preconceived notions. This place blows chains like L&L out of the water. If you're looking for Hawaiian and Chinese American comfort food, this is the place to go. I can honestly recommend so much of the menu, but my absolute favorite thing they make is their gravy. Their chicken cutlet with gravy is so good (same thing with their gravy fries), but a hot tip for your dipping needs is that they'll sell you the gravy separately if you ask for it.“
