“I’m from SC. I wanted to surf fish while here and brought a rod/reel with me on the plane. I’m here for 5 days total. On day 1 I wanted to try a local doughnut. I saw they had gluten free. I don’t need it but my kids do. I bought some from a dude in a flannel shirt. I thought it weird, but it’s California so whatever. I got them back to the place we were staying and we all sampled about six different doughnuts. 🤯 OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! I’m a Krispy Kreme lifer but DANG THESE ARE GOOD. Today I went back and bought 6 more. These are expensive so there went my fishing budget but it’s worth it because my kids and enlaws loved it. My father enlaw said the maple bacon should be illegal it’s so good. Listen there are a lot of choices here but if you are going to try just 1 or several this should be your first stop and if like me it will be the only one you need. I’m not big on California, sorry, but the only thing better than the weather and scenery are these incredible doughnuts. 🤯“

“Second visit to Limoncello and want to say the food is excellent in every way. Last night I had Arugula salad (very lemony dressing), the Risotto (outstanding) and chocolate gelato which was VERY chocolate. Topped with a nice wine. All Excellent. As for atmosphere, lots of large parties there last night celebrating Christmas and birthdays so was quite noisy, but 'tis the season. Highly recommend Limoncello. Food and service are excellent and above average. Menu is extensive with very different and interesting options. If they would have served a shot of Limoncello after dinner I would have thought I was dining in Italy.“

“I was at a conference Last month and a I mentioned that I was gonna be going to Southern California for a couple weeks. They told me that if I can get to San Juan Capistrano that I need to stop into the Five Vines Wine Bar and try their 20-year-old pork. They were not exaggerating. Unbelievably good. I also had a burger and garlic fries and if you ask for it, they’ll give you pineapple teriyaki sauce for the burger. 👍👍“

“Located this restaurant by doing a google search for new restaurants. In town for our wedding anniversary and we had a fantastic meal here.

We are passionate about good food and we loved everything we ordered. We shared each dish, and thus got to try several different dishes, including dessert.

The flavors--wow -- it was a meal to remember. This chef (who was nice enough to come out and say hello when he heard it was our anniversary) really knows food -- this is very high level cuisine. Yet, he hasn't lost touch with what matters---letting the flavors of high quality ingredients shine through. It was refreshing to be at a top notch restaurant that isn't trying too hard and actually is working to complement the natural flavors of the ingredients. So many restaurants these days are trying to be different or get a Michelin star and they serve dishes that look amazing but have odd or incompatible flavors that don't mesh well -- and you don't feel compelled to go back for that reason. Every dish we had at Rosewood Social had incredible flavor that we will remember for a long time-- very creative ingredient combinations that really worked! We definitely will be back. It was also very reasonably priced for the quality and skill level of the cuisine. (At most other top restaurants in coastal Southern California, we would have paid a lot more.)

The service was also excellent. Jake was our waiter and he obviously loves his job. He made great suggestions and made the dining experience even more fun with his enthusiasm and warmth.

The ambiance indoors on a very hot day was perfect, with ample air conditioning, and not too many tables-- well spaced. My husband who is a bit hard of hearing had no trouble hearing all the conversation at the table.

On a cooler day, we would have sat outside on the terrace which is really lovely.

I highly recommend this place, and honestly I'm pretty picky and don't rave in a review unless I really mean it.

Another tip: Go during their happy hour so you can try several of the items on the Happy Hour menu at a discount price -- and have a reasonably priced glass of wine too.

And if you like bananas, be sure to try the banana dessert with the sweet potato purple ice cream. Fantastic!!“

“Ok, so first up it was a bit pricey. But holy cow the burgers were all amazing, the place was clean, staff was wonderful. If you want ridiculously tasty burgers and don't mind paying for it... I'll give this place 5/5 stars for sure.“

“This was such a cute cozy, tucked away cafe that had a warm and rustic atmosphere, which was perfect for slowing down and enjoying a quiet coffee moment. The cafe only has a few seats inside and outside and definitely can get crowded quickly. There is a parking structure near by for parking.

There were quite a few different items to choose from; but ended up with the Pistachio Latte which was smooth, nutty, and lightly sweet.“

The food was tasty and portions generous, only downside is the prices are a little high. Might be worth it if you're looking for a good sit-down meal in a comfy and clean atmosphere.

First visit, we sat inside, but there is a large outdoor dining area.
I had the Western BBQ Bacon Burger. It was good, plenty of bacon and tasty BBQ sauce. We also had the Butter Toffee Cake for dessert, very good.
Table service was a little lacking, but wouldn’t keep me from a second visit.
Prices are reasonable.

“My favorite morning routine is coming here and grabbing the delicious and fresh raw juice (tastes like its made with the freshest ingredients every time and I LOVE that they use the whole fruit and vegetable and its not too pulpy. Their juicer is high quality for sure), and a delicious salt bagel that isn't over done or too heavy. Not to mention, everytime I eat something here (even the sandwiches are delicious and they actually use enough ingredients to make it not to bready) my sensitive stomach doesn't hate me. They are definitely doing all the right things! Their coffee is always hot too and will offer to make more if they are out of your favorite. I look for the closest thing to a New York bagel everywhere I go. I have had some come close, but this one is the best!! They are also reasonable on pricing. They are friendly and work well with everyone. THANK YOU for your high quality ingredients, caring attitudes, and consistency with my orders. I can always find everything I need here. “We came for lunch right after visiting the mission. It was right across the street and we wanted to try a different lunch spot. The food was great. We ordered steak and shrimp and a Shepards pie and calamari as an appetizer. The drinks were great and we enjoyed some music from the patio. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back. The only odd thing was when our waitress came to take our order, I asked about the drink menu and was asking for recommendations and she seemed confused about my questions. She didn’t offer any suggestions and when I asked about a drink on the menu, she asked if I wanted a shot of grapefruit juice.“

“I didn’t smell a smoker and there isn’t a choice of sauces, but the three meat sampler we shared of brisket, smoked pulled chicken and pulled pork was quite tasty. And the fried dill pickle appetizer was one of the best we’ve had, with thinly sliced pickles and a nice coating.“
