“I have lived into this neighborhood for almost 8 years. Today I was craving one of those hot dog buns and happen to find this place thru google. Gave it a try. Absolutely no regrets. Chinese donut sticks so fresh and crispy and still with the right fluff in the middle. Good sesame balls. Good egg and ham sandwich. I got 2 sesame balls. 2 pork buns. 1 egg and ham bun. 1 Chinese donut. 4 hot dog buns. And it was only $17.50! What a deal. I will definitely be back again.“

“I've been going here for a number of years. Even before the pandemic. The food has been consistently good, with the exception of the height of the pandemic.

On other platforms, this place isn't rated high however this place for dim sum is always packed. This says wonders about the other sites.

Today's visit for dim sum was just like the other times. Place was packed and there was a wait of 20 mins. The service was okay and the food was good. Parking wasn't an issue as there were plenty.

“Took family for Dim Sum and enjoyed our lunch. We ordered “Fu-Jian” fried rice, Siu-Mai, Ha-Gao (Shrimp dumpling), chicken feet, steamed fish ball, BBQ buns & “Sa-Wong”. It isn’t as buzzing as before and in fact they’re much quieter.But that’s perfect for us, came in for a late lunch on a Saturday and there were only a couple other tables. So we got seated and served right away! Can’t find that at most good dim sum joints.Got the e-noodles with seafood in XO sauce as the main dish, and some dim sum dishes like the shrimp dumplings, durian puff, bean curd wrap etc. All came out quickly and were very good!Parking is tricky as there’s only the front lot on this stretch of the street. So at peak hours you might have to park a couple blocks away or in the nearby neighborhood. Still a good option and we’ll come back soon!“

“This is one most authentic Cantonese cuisine in the bay. The food is absolutely amazing and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. However, I wouldn’t recommend coming here when you are in a rush. They don’t have enough people for the capacity of the restaurant. Usually we would need to wait 5-10 mins to order and 20+ mins for foods.“

“I love this place because it is affordable, the food is good and pretty healthy but not too healthy.
Seems like a silly statement but it really matters when you go to a place regularly. Hainan chicken rice is very good but so are the other dishes that I have tried here.“

In spite of inflation, their prices are still very reasonable especially the lunch specials. Taste and quality have improved dramatically for a joint like this.

Inside the dine in options are limited — just a few small tables usually 1 or 2 people in a rush. Most of us take to go.

Which is fine by me, cos it’s good portions, parking is easy in their small lot, the guy at the counter is super nice, and price and taste are good enough especially for lunch. Love it!“
