“I met a friend for lunch who had picked this restaurant because he had passed it many times taking his son to school. The food was tasty and seasoned, which I find rare when restaurants try to cook southern dishes here in the Bay Area. I had the fried catfish, while my friend had a combo plate. We shared greens, yams and mac-n-cheese. Come and enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Reminds me of an Ole Country Juke Joint! Get there early because the parking lot fills up fast! You might even see Roderick himself!“

“Undisputedly the best burritos in town. I've had many burritos from other places and none compares to the ones at this Taco truck. All the ingredients match perfectly with eachother. I usually get two of the monster burritos to feed myself and my four children and we always have leftovers for a snack for later. The owner Manuel is also very kind and caring to every customer. The cooks are also really nice and they do amazing work with the food. If I could give one million stars I would. This is definitely a place you want to try if you haven't already.

Parking: Tons of parking space

Kid-friendliness: Sometimes I bring my children to sit down and eat. Also I usually ask for the burritos I get to be cut a certain way for my kids and the honor my request.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs or anything like that.“

“What an incredible treat to experience--AND it's situated conveniently in a residential area for accessibility!

The churros are delicious in their own or with a variety of fillings. My favorite is the caramelo (caramel) filling that's made with goat milk. (It's like dulce de leche but warrrrrm.)

The people who run it are also the owners, which means they're invested in creating a friendly, community atmosphere and gladly cater to special requests.

Be prepared to pay either cash, use Zelle or get cash back from the nearby Mexican grocer. There's no option for card payments!“

“Very casual dining spot but removed from the busy road. Food was excellent especially the taco Dorado! We later ate the burritos which were delicious. The seasoning for the asada and chicken were great. Cousin said shrimp was good too. Definitely will return if in the area again“

“You can easily miss this truck tucked away on the corner of a parking lot. They are busy non stop on a Saturday night. They are quick to get you your food though.

The Al Pastor had great flavor with a slight sweetness of pineapple. Pairs well with their salsa, which is neither red or green, but it was delicious. The Asada was good too, with good taste and texture. The Lengua was very tender and went well with the salsa too.

I will def be back to try the other Cortes and horchata. My only suggestions is they should use order numbers or get a name to the order. They read out whole order for pickup and it gets confusing. Would save them and customers time.“

“It's not bad. Tacos de tripas. The tripas are almost on point but just really depends on the person I like them a little bit crunchy.
The only downside really was the portion size and the tortilla was a bit raw it didn't fully heat up. The other downside is the sauces.
The green sauce is not hot nor does it have flavor or salt it's just smushed sauce.
And the red one almost looks like ketchup texture with no flavor either. I could taste more the grease from the taco then the sauces.
Overall I'll say it's a 4 star the first time I showed up I wasn't a fan of it but this was years ago.
Add oil to the tortillas or tortillas all vapor also hits the spot.“

“I hope I find this in heaven. Hands-down, one of the best Carnitas I’ve had. Run out of a taco truck in a very unassuming location. Juicy, tender and they give generous portions. I got that fairly late at 2PM and everything was sold out except for the carne. The person I spoke to said to come early usually before noon if you want to have a taste of everything else. There are two tents set up with tables and chairs.“

I parked inside and although I was coming for Mama Cuca, the charm of the staff selling carnitas really called me!Totally Mexico style they offered a free sample and of course I ended up buying a pound of carnitas to take home ?The carnitas are cooked to perfection, tender, tasty, accompanied by fresh tortillas hand made to order. The salsas are great but the real game is in the meat.They told me the nieves truck is the same business, that’s why I am posting here.The lady making tortillas told me they make their own syrups with fresh fruit for the raspados, next time I will come for snacks from that truck.As always, make sure to tip your servers and cooks!! The flavor is completely different than anything I’ve tried before, the Chorizo sandwich comes in a nice crunchy bread, with a nice salad (Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, some carrots) and the artisan style home made chorizo, Just the combination is out of this world. The service was excellent, very attentive, they have couple of tables if you’d like to eat there.“

An afternoon operational run to evaluate one of Oakland’s highest-volume street culinary hubs. Service was incredibly fast, and the covered outdoor seating plaza made it easy to sit down and analyze the payload immediately.

Everything we ordered was excellent:

The Torta: My partner had the carne asada torta and loved it. It was packed with a generous amount of steak that was flavorful but not too spicy. The bread was perfectly soft but held together much better than he expected without getting soggy or falling apart.

The Tacos: I tried three different tacos—carne asada, fish, and al pastor—and all of them were fantastic. They were well-built and easy to eat because they didn't skimp on the tortillas. The kitchen put the perfect amount of salsa on top of each one so it didn't overwhelm the flavor of the meat.

The Standout: The al pastor was hands-down my favorite. It had that perfect balance of deep seasoning and those crispy, caramelized edges you look for in great pork.

The Drink: The strawberry horchata was delicious and super refreshing in the sun. It was creamy, sweet, and the perfect counter to the savory meats.

The Verdict: Tacos Sinaloa completely defends its reputation. Fast, delicious, and pristine street-level execution.“

They truly have the best carne asada fries; the fries are actually crispy and perfectly topped with the right amount of meat, crema, cheese, cilantro, and onion.“

The mini pancakes were so amazing I had to buy more to share with neighbors! The Tacos were so good we had to order more to go! Will definitely be trying the restaurant.“

“Tried this place yesterday at OTG: Fort Mason. After eating a bunch of other unsatisfying food I just wanted one chicken tender no sauce. Yes one chicken tender. There was a bit of a wait but I was so happy after eating.It was juicy, flavorful and the breading was well seasoned and had a nice crunch to it. The service was friendly and even they still offered me sauce during my pick up. They probably thought wth, but that is truly what I just wanted haha. Anyways try this place!“
