“The chula and lemon flash rolls were delicious. We’ve been here around 5 times so far and it’s a great experience each time. The server is wonderful and we enjoy talking to her. Definitely our regular sushi spot now.”

“During our unforgettable 40th wedding anniversary weekend getaway in San Diego, we stumbled upon an absolute gem – O Prego! My beloved husband, Joaquim, who hails from Portugal 🇵🇹, had an insatiable craving for a taste of his homeland. Fortunately, fate led us to this remarkable Portuguese market. Our visit, accompanied by our sons, was a delightful detour on our way to Las Vegas. The true highlight of our experience was meeting the owner, Joao, who personified warmth and hospitality. He generously shared his deep knowledge of Portuguese cuisine and culture, engaging us in an enriching conversation. Our enthusiasm for O Prego's offerings knew no bounds. We couldn't resist filling our shopping cart with an array of delectable products. But the best part is that our Portuguese culinary journey doesn't end here; we're thrilled to continue savoring their delicious foods and products through their online store. The selection at O Prego is nothing short of fantastic, a treasure trove of Portuguese delights. This serendipitous stop on our journey added an extra layer of joy to our 40th-anniversary celebration. We're elated that we made this pitstop before embarking on our journey back home. O Prego, you've won our hearts and taste buds! 🇵🇹❤️🍽️”
“Update: we visited again today, mid day. Super busy inside and out. Same lovely service and great coffees and pastry. I tried a flat white today, excellent! And a blueberry scone. I am serious when I say this was the best scone I have ever eaten. Moist, rich flavors, plump blueberries! And served warm with whipped cream and jam on the side. Amazing. (See photos!).
Our first visit to this cute comfy coffee house was absolutely perfect in every way! We were warmly greeted when we arrived (with eye contact), service was friendly fast and efficient, interesting and diverse pastry and food selections. Comfy couches and chairs with pillows, or lots of table options too. Funny coffee house sayings on the walls to get you smiling, and some cool art hanging too! (Thank you for supporting our local artists!😁), plus small touches like plants and flowers add to relaxation and peaceful vibe. You feel welcome, relaxed, attended to and not rushed. The music selection is perfect too. Contemporary, but not annoying, right volume and feel for the place - you could definitely get work done or carry on a normal conversation. There were quite a few customers, yet voices were low and respectful of others.
We had pastries today (creme brûlée croissant and banana nut muffin). Both were delicious, moist, flavorful and not overly sweet.
And now the coffee! We had a latte and Americano. Both were excellent! Strong, complex flavors on the dark roast of the espresso balanced perfectly with the milk in the latte. Beautiful latte art to top it off. I seriously was reluctant to stir the design away.🤎 Hubby said the Americano was “very good” (which is his highest praise). Food and drinks were brought to our table with care, we were check on to see if anything else was needed. And then finally, we were warmly thanked for coming in. Exceptional experience! Thank you. We will be back.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Crumbl Cookie is NEXT LEVEL 🔥🍪 Soft, warm, thick, and absolutely loaded with flavor. Every week feels like a new obsession with their rotating menu, and honestly… there are no bad choices. The pink box alone is iconic. One bite and you’re hooked—dangerously good, worth every calorie, zero regrets. If you haven’t tried Crumbl yet, you’re missing out BIG TIME 🤤💖”
“Food was great, service was good, I got the animal lovers with brussels sprouts, it’s got a rich broth, great noodles, and everything came out fresh and warm, went on a rainy day so it was a busy. What stood out to our table most was our server Zarina. She was amazing and incredibly attentive, checking in on us at the perfect times. She gave amazing recommendations and made the whole experience feel even better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to with reasonable prices.”
“starting from the service 🙌 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ el jugo de tamarindo hecho fresco por ellos on point 👌 👏 😍 👍 y las quesa birrias OMG fuera de este mundo 20 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯🎯my new favorite spot .I am Puertorican and this Mexican food restaurant is a must must must visit....”
“I have been coming here for 45 years and it the best Italian good place around. The three sisters that run it are amazing women that take pride in their work always so uplifting and with a smile on there faces. If you haven’t tried this place what are you waiting for. Get in there and taste everything they have to offer you can’t go wrong with anything you order. And with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day😀”
“Ever since they have hired a new General Manager the staff has been great! Fast and helpful, still room for improvement but so much better then when it first opened. The Manager keeps things moving and is super friendly! I went at lunch and got through the line pretty fast and didn’t have to wait for anything.”

“Have always had a great experience at The Money Pit; except for today (10/28/24). My wife and I stopped for lunch and ordered 2 hamburgers, 1 fry, and 2 drinks. At the time of ordering your employee gave me a to-go carrier for the two drinks, and I told her that we were eating at the Money Pit. She gave me two cups for the drinks. I paid the bill of $20.04 with cash, and she gave me my change. She seemed very put out that I was not taking the drinks and food out. Anyway, when they brought the meal, there were 3 hamburgers, not 2. I said I ordered 2 and she basically told me I was lying and walked away. If you get a server about 30-35 years old, 5'4" tall, with glasses at the Money Pit expect to be treated in a rude matter. Never happened to me in the past (over 10 years of eating there), and I hope you don't have to deal with this employee.”
“When I first went to this bakery, they had just opened and still were figuring a few things out. My experience then was good. The French baguette was delicious and the other pastries were alright. Nothing to write home about though other than the baguette.
Yesterday, I decided to get another pastry from them, and it was the best pain au chocolate (chocolate croissant) that I have ever had. And I just came back from Paris. Also, the seating area has improved greatly and was adorable.
My wife got a fruit danish and the filling was so fresh and delicious it just put a big smile on both our faces. Hands down this is one of the best bakeries in San Diego County. If you have not tried it, or only tried out when they first opened you are missing out!
The baguettes are also still amazing.”
“THE BEST THE BEST SHIRAZI SALAD,,,,AAAAAAMAZING...GREAT FOOD, SERVICE, AND ATMOSPHERE SO NICE!! A MUST TRY!!”
“Had a late lunch with friends on a rainy Sunday. It was pouring rain, the only way to park in the restaurant parking lot was to valet, otherwise you have to park on the street or further away in another parking lot. The food, service and view was excellent. I couldn't help but to notice how stained the dining chairs were and the tables looked worn and tired. It's too bad the management doesn't see this and address it. The prices are very reasonable, it's worth a try if you love fresh Italian cuisine.”

“Whenever I'm in San Diego County I look for fish tacos and I found this place on Google Maps totally amazing very very good crispy fish tacos and also crispy shrimp tacos not only were they tasty but they were overflowing in terms of the amount of meat that I got and fixings and other stuff bang for the buck in terms of value also very good i had two tacos and I was very full. Had this truck is very close to one of my locations that I visit on a regular basis and I will definitely come back for some more”
“Today was our first time visiting, and to be perfectly honest, this will be our new go to for sushi, even though we live in Ramona. Everything from the appetizers to the drinks and service was great. It seems like it would be a great spot for game or fight nights as well!”
“found the Las Vegas Sayulitas 2 yrs ago when staying at the Luxor. there burritos are beyond spectacular. big and so delicious. I can't say it enough. and the sauces on the little sauce bar are outstanding. I've never had anything like those sauces. the hot green sauce and hot red sauce are phenomenal. I like the green the best. I lived in AZ years ago. went back home to upstate NY. there is no place near me that even comes close. I love Sayulitas and wish I had one near me. you can't go wrong if you love Mexican style food”
“Best Indian food and friendly service!”
“The food was terrific, came out quickly and the staff was friendly. Nice experience.”
“One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area the best in San Marcos.. my only disappointment is the wonton soup here on the west coast!! Back on the east coast the wonton noodles are large and very doughy here the are small and soft. Hard large wonton noodles in my soup. Still the best I have found other then Philadelphia and New York Chinese restaurants.”
“When there is Passion that will be quality. I had an opportunity to speak with Mahmet. He is an advocate of doing the right thing. He is advocating for a best quality for consumers and the education to support the farmers. I look forward to our relationship with Mahmet & Memli Coffee Lap for many years to come.”
“We love Shores. With football now starting, it is not so great. It is known as a Packers bar. Today there were 6 Packers fan and the rest of the other team fans had to listen to the loud Packers game. Also, one bartender saved seats for over 2 hours for people who didn't show up. That is not right for everyone who shiftwd seats to accommodate the regular guests. Not "shore" if we'll be back during football. I hope Pete figures it out.”

“I dined in tonight not expecting much. The place is older but very clean. The place was spotless. The food was much better than expected. There is a salsa bar inside with many options. I think there were 7 types of salsa, however, nearly all of them were too spicy for me. I enjoyed my food and the staff were all very nice!”
“Great selection of Japanese food.
My only recommendation is to read the description of the items carefully: I accidentally ordered something spicy because there are no red icons next to the spicy dishes.”
“We love our neighborhood go to spot for excellent wine and beer choices and perfect bistro food: salads, small plates, flat breads and out of this world cheese boards. Lucky to have so close and with such friendly staff!”

“My go to is #9! I don't have pictures because I ate my sandwich!. This is a great place for the fresh cut meats and the family-owned service. No one on their phone acting like your bothering them. They offer 3 lengths of sandwich and seemingly endless variety. Loyalty cards are no longer issued but I have a few more punches to go on mine which they still honor.
SUPPORT LOCAL BUSSINESS, ESPECIALLY THIS ONE!!!”
“Priceless outdoor mountain top vibes! Easy listening and danciable live music sets the perfect backdrop for any get together around the fire pits. The wines are different every time we come. Never disappoints. We keep coming here for a different scene from a regular bar or restaurant.”
“It was about noon as I left my Doctors office and feeling a little hungry. I say Pegah’s Kitchen next door and gave it a try. The staff were all very professional. I had their Italian omelette and if I had to rate it on a one to 10 scale with 10 being the best, I would give it a 12. This is the Vista location. Highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch, as they are not open for dinner.”
“Met some friends at Amalfi Dockside about a week ago. The food was superb!!! We also enjoyed the wonderful entertainment provided by Relic Ruckus....”

“If you like a nice warm sandwich with fresh, crunchy vegetables and freshly baked, warm, crispy bread, then you have to try this place! They make some of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and I've traveled quite a bit. Their tortas are even better than many I've had in Mexico. The restaurant is clean, organized and efficient. You can eat there or take it to go. We really like the pork loin (lomo) but we'd enjoy any of them. If you've never had a torta sandwich, treat yourself and start here. I hope they stay in business! Please try them. You'll go back again.”
“I usually don’t to restaurants that are overly broad with the foods they serve, but I’m glad I did! This place is excellent. I shared the 2 x $25 meal (gyu-don and chicken karaage) and a salmon poke bowl. Karaage was super light and crispy and the gyu-don was exactly what I was imagining. The salmon poke bowl also great, with a mix of raw and seared salmon. The seared salmon was a great touch! Overall, everything was delicious and very good portions. I will definitely be returning to try some other menu items!”
“I am a Thai connoisseur. Specifically curries. Even more specifically green curry. Thai Thai makes an excellent green curry. It's one of the better ones I've had in the San Diego area. It has eggplant in it, which in my opinion, is a prerequisite for making a top notch green curry. Yum! We also love their fresh spring rolls. They serve them with peanut sauce and one other sauce that is not plum sauce (what is usually served with this appetizer), but is far more delicious in our opinion. This is one of our go-to Thai places in North County.”
“Philly Franks Steaks Carlsbad, CA Got the burger. Not sure what the bread was. It was slightly chewy like a pretzel bun but reminiscent of a decent cheese steak roll. Doesn't really work for the burger itself. The meat wasn't seasoned. The grilled onions had great carmelization. Tasted like Visalia onions, which I think they used for their onion rings (definitely get those). The fries were horrible, unseasoned, soggy. Good thing I got a side of wiz for them. Back to the burger: their secret sauce had a very strong garlic flavor, but tasted like it was seasoned with Mccormick garlic salt. Burger did not blow me away. I would like to try their line of cheese steaks, but if they use their secret sauce on them, then not really. I would give this burger a 2 out of 5. Really not impressed and they should probably just stick to their cheese steaks.”
“Just ate here for lunch today with a family of 5. We wanted a booth but they were just slightly too small so we had to sit at a regular table. Not a problem actually as all of the seats are padded.
We each ordered a lunch menu item, which all come with half-and-half rice and chow mien noodles, plus a small egg drop soup. Lunch items are right around $10 each, and each of us got a heaping plate of food. HIGHLY worth the $10.
We all liked our food. The orange chicken was not too sweet unlike other places (Panda). I got the Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce. Lots of sauce on this one. It ended up leaking out of the container after we got the rest to-go, so be sure to pack your leftovers well. The Beef with Broccoli was great.
We also got the Bunny character buns. They looked cute but I didn't think they had a lot of filling. Not too sweet either.
One thing to note: we noticed that some of the soy sauce bottles have a cracked lid. The one on our table wasn't screwed on tightly so we got soy sauce everywhere and had to exchange with another table. That one also had tape holding the lid together, so be aware.
Also, they only had plastic forks. No metal forks. It's a little tough to eat heavy noodles with plastic forks.
They don't have any beer options that I could see. We all chose water. Total came to $61.66 and we had a lot leftover so you have dinner covered if you eat lunch here.”
“Amazing customer service and the WiFi is fast! My coffee was out quick and was made perfect! The barista Sky was very helpful when it came to my questions about sugar free and healthy options. He took the time to care for me and answer all my questions. I will be coming back soon!”
“Been coming here for years. The food is amazing and delicious. The employees are the best and always helpful and there when you need something. I will always return and let people know this is the best sushi place around”
“Was relaxing. Couple of issues. Either water pressure was low or it’s a water saving measure. Outlets at night stands were inoperative. Toilet seat hinge broken. No lighting at bathroom mirror was dim from overhead light. But still nice would return. Nitpicking only. I’m easy. Oh yeah I got a great price.”

“I was turned on to LA Pinsa Mia pizzas at a farmers market that I go to at Chapman University, every Saturday. I had never had Pisa style pizza before. I grew up in Gloucester Mass. with a huge Italian population that made some of the best pizzas I had ever eaten. The thing that separates LA Pinsa apart from other pizzas is the crust. Absolutely delicious! I try to stay vegetarian as much as possible, and that is easy to do with these pies, like Margherita, Truffle, Pesto, and Veggie which are my favorites. The crust is so awesome that I will eat the pie, all except for the outer crust. I will then use it to dip into homemade hummus.”

“Not just another Boba place. It's 90s hip hop meets Boba and Taiwanese chicken. The owner Miguel is currently exploring more items to introduce. The teas and drinks are unique and fresh. The Taiwanese chicken is made to order. Comes out piping hot and crispy. I recommend the spicy version. It's just enough heat with good mouth tingle. I can't wait to see what's coming next, I'll be back soon.”
“Had a create your own bowl with all vegan options (tofu, mushrooms, steak, rice, veggies, sweet potato, etc). The vegan steak was so good I actually went back and asked if they messed up the order. Mind. Blown. The staff was so nice as well! Can't wait to go back.”
“GREAT experience at the Golden Spoon the other night, came with my cousin. Marcus was serving up top-notch frozen yogurt AND service. Great flavors to choose from, packed with a wide selection of toppings, culminating in a creamy tower of deliciousness (seriously, he built that thing up like a skyscraper). Will definitely be going back, and thanks again for making our night, Marcus!”
“This place so super clean and the the food was amazing. Plenty of tables to eat and close by other options if you have a family like mine that can't agree on one type of food. I ate the Thai dunking noodle Veggie protein level 10 spicy with a strawberry Lemonade...And im was sooo satisfied with this dish. The Lemonade was freshly squeezed and perfect 👌. I got it as take out but the portion size was large and everything was truly perfect. The young lady who took my order was super kind and very informative of the food in question and very welcoming. I will come again next time im in this area. Great food.”
“If I could give this place more stars, I would happily do so.
