“Birria Tacos are fantastic! Location fresh & lively and beers plentiful and delicious.”
“I had a great time here, our waitress was very helpful (and very funny). I have a lot of food allergies including wheat, dairy, corn and SESAME and she helped me navigate my way to the rolls that sounded good with correct alterations. Together our table ordered 7 rolls and each were enjoyed by the ordered. Would def come back!”

“Today was our first time visiting, and to be perfectly honest, this will be our new go to for sushi, even though we live in Ramona. Everything from the appetizers to the drinks and service was great. It seems like it would be a great spot for game or fight nights as well!”
“This is such a beautiful restaurant. The water scenery is beautiful. Food is delicious, the atmosphere was so cozy and chill. It was worth it to go there. Whenever I am back in California I am going back again.”

“During our unforgettable 40th wedding anniversary weekend getaway in San Diego, we stumbled upon an absolute gem – O Prego! My beloved husband, Joaquim, who hails from Portugal 🇵🇹, had an insatiable craving for a taste of his homeland. Fortunately, fate led us to this remarkable Portuguese market. Our visit, accompanied by our sons, was a delightful detour on our way to Las Vegas. The true highlight of our experience was meeting the owner, Joao, who personified warmth and hospitality. He generously shared his deep knowledge of Portuguese cuisine and culture, engaging us in an enriching conversation. Our enthusiasm for O Prego's offerings knew no bounds. We couldn't resist filling our shopping cart with an array of delectable products. But the best part is that our Portuguese culinary journey doesn't end here; we're thrilled to continue savoring their delicious foods and products through their online store. The selection at O Prego is nothing short of fantastic, a treasure trove of Portuguese delights. This serendipitous stop on our journey added an extra layer of joy to our 40th-anniversary celebration. We're elated that we made this pitstop before embarking on our journey back home. O Prego, you've won our hearts and taste buds! 🇵🇹❤️🍽️”
“This place can really make you phatt... ? Why, because you just can't stop eating these cookies. You bring home some fancy cookies for the kids and you think to yourself I'll just break off a piece and try it, a little later maybe another, then another, and another, and another, well there is just a little piece left might as well finish it.
These cookies are more of a cookie dough texture and taste, so if you don't like cookie dough you may not like these.”
“This place is always packed, so you know the food will be good. I suggest you place an order before arriving, and it’s best to take away. They work really hard; the place has a great vibe, and everyone is super friendly. After living in New York for many years and trying several delis, Tina’s Deli is by far the best HOT Reuben on the West Coast, in my opinion!”
“I have been coming here for 45 years and it the best Italian good place around. The three sisters that run it are amazing women that take pride in their work always so uplifting and with a smile on there faces. If you haven’t tried this place what are you waiting for. Get in there and taste everything they have to offer you can’t go wrong with anything you order. And with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day😀”
“Best Indian food and friendly service!”
“starting from the service 🙌 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ el jugo de tamarindo hecho fresco por ellos on point 👌 👏 😍 👍 y las quesa birrias OMG fuera de este mundo 20 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯🎯my new favorite spot .I am Puertorican and this Mexican food restaurant is a must must must visit....”
“Have always had a great experience at The Money Pit; except for today (10/28/24). My wife and I stopped for lunch and ordered 2 hamburgers, 1 fry, and 2 drinks. At the time of ordering your employee gave me a to-go carrier for the two drinks, and I told her that we were eating at the Money Pit. She gave me two cups for the drinks. I paid the bill of $20.04 with cash, and she gave me my change. She seemed very put out that I was not taking the drinks and food out. Anyway, when they brought the meal, there were 3 hamburgers, not 2. I said I ordered 2 and she basically told me I was lying and walked away. If you get a server about 30-35 years old, 5'4" tall, with glasses at the Money Pit expect to be treated in a rude matter. Never happened to me in the past (over 10 years of eating there), and I hope you don't have to deal with this employee.”

“found the Las Vegas Sayulitas 2 yrs ago when staying at the Luxor. there burritos are beyond spectacular. big and so delicious. I can't say it enough. and the sauces on the little sauce bar are outstanding. I've never had anything like those sauces. the hot green sauce and hot red sauce are phenomenal. I like the green the best. I lived in AZ years ago. went back home to upstate NY. there is no place near me that even comes close. I love Sayulitas and wish I had one near me. you can't go wrong if you love Mexican style food”
“I know food. I know service…….. This place excels at both. An extensive menu, packed full of traditional fare, as well as creative, unique items. Fresh baked goods Quality coffee, which I rarely find in my travels. Great staff with excellent leadership at the helm. I was only visiting from Palm Desert on a packed Sunday, but this will be a regular stop for me when I’m in town for work.”
“We love Shores. With football now starting, it is not so great. It is known as a Packers bar. Today there were 6 Packers fan and the rest of the other team fans had to listen to the loud Packers game. Also, one bartender saved seats for over 2 hours for people who didn't show up. That is not right for everyone who shiftwd seats to accommodate the regular guests. Not "shore" if we'll be back during football. I hope Pete figures it out.”

“The food was terrific, came out quickly and the staff was friendly. Nice experience.”
“One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area the best in San Marcos.. my only disappointment is the wonton soup here on the west coast!! Back on the east coast the wonton noodles are large and very doughy here the are small and soft. Hard large wonton noodles in my soup. Still the best I have found other then Philadelphia and New York Chinese restaurants.”

“Just ate here for lunch today with a family of 5. We wanted a booth but they were just slightly too small so we had to sit at a regular table. Not a problem actually as all of the seats are padded.
We each ordered a lunch menu item, which all come with half-and-half rice and chow mien noodles, plus a small egg drop soup. Lunch items are right around $10 each, and each of us got a heaping plate of food. HIGHLY worth the $10.
We all liked our food. The orange chicken was not too sweet unlike other places (Panda). I got the Shrimp with Hot Garlic Sauce. Lots of sauce on this one. It ended up leaking out of the container after we got the rest to-go, so be sure to pack your leftovers well. The Beef with Broccoli was great.
We also got the Bunny character buns. They looked cute but I didn't think they had a lot of filling. Not too sweet either.
One thing to note: we noticed that some of the soy sauce bottles have a cracked lid. The one on our table wasn't screwed on tightly so we got soy sauce everywhere and had to exchange with another table. That one also had tape holding the lid together, so be aware.
Also, they only had plastic forks. No metal forks. It's a little tough to eat heavy noodles with plastic forks.
They don't have any beer options that I could see. We all chose water. Total came to $61.66 and we had a lot leftover so you have dinner covered if you eat lunch here.”
“OMG these shrimp tacos were so good. Thank hod I found a place I can go and eat some delicious seafood. The consomé they have me even before we got our food had so much flavor. My husband had fish tacos which he loved but he love the 7 seas soup. I totally recommend this place to anybody as it was recommended to me.”
“Was relaxing. Couple of issues. Either water pressure was low or it’s a water saving measure. Outlets at night stands were inoperative. Toilet seat hinge broken. No lighting at bathroom mirror was dim from overhead light. But still nice would return. Nitpicking only. I’m easy. Oh yeah I got a great price.”

“We usually love Albertaco’s and go here at least once a week. The service is always great and they have great prices. However the last couple of times we’ve bought food from here the carne asada tacos were all dried out the meat was chewy and very dry. In our opinion we were served old dried out carne asada. We were very disappointed our last couple of trips here. We can only hope they start serving fresh carne asada again.”
“I don't usually make a big deal about lids, but the restaurant was out. Then it was closing time and the employee rushed me out with a container with no lid. Not necessarily happy having a container in my car with no lid. Employee didn't offer a smaller cup with a lid.”
“We love our neighborhood go to spot for excellent wine and beer choices and perfect bistro food: salads, small plates, flat breads and out of this world cheese boards. Lucky to have so close and with such friendly staff!”
“It was our first time eating here, and wow, so good. We'll definitely be back! The food was delicious and Max was an excellent waiter. It was a magical experience as a whole.”

“My lunchtime experience at Que Tortas! left me thoroughly impressed with their delicious tortas and excellent service. Here's a detailed review of my visit:Arriving at Que Tortas!, I found parking to be a breeze, making the start of my dining experience hassle-free. The small, clean shop has a very welcoming atmosphere, although the loud blender added a touch of humor to the ambiance. The customer service was exceptional, with the staff displaying friendliness and efficiency from the moment I walked in. My order was taken promptly and accurately, and I was delighted to find that my torta was ready in less than 10 minutes. The staff delivered our order to our table with a smile, enhancing the overall dining experience. Now, onto the star of the show – the "QUE TORTA!" torta. Despite initial concerns about the bread size in the pictures, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the torta was generously filled, with just the right amount of bread to complement the fillings. The torta bread itself was a highlight, striking the perfect balance between softness and crunch, thanks to its slightly toasted exterior. The combination of ham, veggies, and sauce mixed together perfectly. I devoured the torta without pausing for anything else, thoroughly enjoying every moment. In conclusion, Que Tortas! offers a delightful dining experience with their delicious tortas and friendly service. The deceptive pictures may suggest otherwise, but rest assured, the tortas are generously filled and bursting with flavor. I, for one, am already planning my return visit to indulge in more of these irresistible tortas.”
“Great small brewery! Very friendly owners who provide great customer service and offer a welcoming atmosphere. There are many really good beers here, but the strong blonde ale is fantastic.
This brewery is more tucked away on a back Vista road, but it's worth finding your way here. The tasting room bay widows open up, and it's a perfect place to sit while the sun is out and enjoy the amazing weather.
There are often food trucks here while you can grab some food while you enjoy your beer.”
“It was about noon as I left my Doctors office and feeling a little hungry. I say Pegah’s Kitchen next door and gave it a try. The staff were all very professional. I had their Italian omelette and if I had to rate it on a one to 10 scale with 10 being the best, I would give it a 12. This is the Vista location. Highly recommend this place for breakfast and lunch, as they are not open for dinner.”
“When there is Passion that will be quality. I had an opportunity to speak with Mahmet. He is an advocate of doing the right thing. He is advocating for a best quality for consumers and the education to support the farmers. I look forward to our relationship with Mahmet & Memli Coffee Lap for many years to come.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Amazing customer service and the WiFi is fast! My coffee was out quick and was made perfect! The barista Sky was very helpful when it came to my questions about sugar free and healthy options. He took the time to care for me and answer all my questions. I will be coming back soon!”
“Pulled into the shopping center not knowing this place was here, very glad I stopped in. Food and service is excellent. Got great recommendation on what to get that was more unique to their menu. Bread was fresh and perfect. Pickled veggies were delicious. Grilled pork was excellent. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.”
“Found this place accidentally i went to buy flowers across form them and then i craved the fresas con crema i decided to give this place a try and omg im so glad i did the fresas are the best fresas con crema besides the Tocumbo ones from city heights in south SD
the Ham torta was the most delicious. definitely coming back again and again . service was great she was courteous helpful, and quick”
“My coworkers and I would frequent this restaurant often. I would normally get one of the Large Pho bowls but other times I would venture out to Rice Vermicelli Noodles. These noodles were served with lettuce, cucumbers, bean sprouts, mints, pickled carrots and daikon, roasted peanuts and fish sauce. This instance I got it with grilled chicken and egg rolls. Great food all the time!”
Cheap Eats
“Very Friendly Atmosphere. The level of spice I asked for is just right amount. I love the taste of my Pad Thai and the noodles is cooked perfectly, its not soggy nor too firm.
I love the thai tea with boba as well, it is on the bigger portion but it tastes great! It’s not too sweet not too bland and the boba is very soft not harden or sits there for too long, you can tell it was made fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Vegetarian options: There are some Tofu and vegetables only dishes!
Kid-friendliness: Has high chair if needed!”
“Absolute best Indian food in San Diego county! I love spicy and got the 10 out of 10 chicken dish, which was outstanding. Initially smooth and savory with an after burner bite it was great! On the chicken kebab, which was ridiculously juicy and incredibly marinated full of flavor Last, but not least, they surprised us with dessert, which was a homemade ice cream with hints of pistachio and rosewater. Can’t really say more than that! You really want to have some fun with it order the mango smoothie it’s out of this world! #currylife #curry #indiancuisine #sanmarcos #delicious”
“Philly Franks Steaks Carlsbad, CA Got the burger. Not sure what the bread was. It was slightly chewy like a pretzel bun but reminiscent of a decent cheese steak roll. Doesn't really work for the burger itself. The meat wasn't seasoned. The grilled onions had great carmelization. Tasted like Visalia onions, which I think they used for their onion rings (definitely get those). The fries were horrible, unseasoned, soggy. Good thing I got a side of wiz for them. Back to the burger: their secret sauce had a very strong garlic flavor, but tasted like it was seasoned with Mccormick garlic salt. Burger did not blow me away. I would like to try their line of cheese steaks, but if they use their secret sauce on them, then not really. I would give this burger a 2 out of 5. Really not impressed and they should probably just stick to their cheese steaks.”
“We come here a lot. It’s a go to every time we have company from out of town that like seafood. Very good service too.”

“Best Indian food and friendly service!”
“I was turned on to LA Pinsa Mia pizzas at a farmers market that I go to at Chapman University, every Saturday. I had never had Pisa style pizza before. I grew up in Gloucester Mass. with a huge Italian population that made some of the best pizzas I had ever eaten. The thing that separates LA Pinsa apart from other pizzas is the crust. Absolutely delicious! I try to stay vegetarian as much as possible, and that is easy to do with these pies, like Margherita, Truffle, Pesto, and Veggie which are my favorites. The crust is so awesome that I will eat the pie, all except for the outer crust. I will then use it to dip into homemade hummus.”
