“I cannot say enough about this restaurant! GOGA is the place to go for fresh, healthy, delicious food! Definitely Saratoga’s hidden gem! It is behind the UPS building with plenty of parking. The staff is wonderful, very accommodating & Chef Brads presentation & deliciousness of his fabulous meals is always 5 stars! “The service is outstanding, the broth is.. understated (don't drown the meat in a separate flavor), and the sauces/accessory items are god-tier. I've never even had soft serve ice cream this good. Not a single ice crystal in the ice cream!

Get the Sukiyaki broth. Spicy miso would seem like the most flavorful, but our group agreed Sukiyaki is better. Want spicy? Grab the infinite Thai chilis at the bar and add to the soup.

Also ponzu-garlic-onion is the best sauce. Fight me! Raw egg (pasteurized) is crazy good too if the flavors get too overwhelming.

I didn't even talk about the meats! Yeah wagyu is great, oyster is great, crab is meh, shrimp (sashimi and platter) is whoah, abalone isn't my thing (it's just all natural fish cake?). Bone marrow was surprisingly not my favorite for a first time experience.

“This is the best pan-fried soup dumpling I’ve had in the Bay Area. The xiao long bao have thicker skins, and while I personally prefer the thinner ones from Din Tai Fung, these still have plenty of soup and aren’t bad. The dumplings, mushroom pork buns, chicken pan-fried dumplings, and spicy beef hotpot were all solid and tasty, though not particularly outstanding. The scallion bun is packed with scallions, making it a must-try for scallion lovers. Overall, the food was delicious, and I’ll definitely visit again.“

“Tried something entirely new eating at Urban Momo last week and it was incredible. I had the Gobi Manchurian, my partner had a curry, and we split a mixed fried rice and naan. Everything was flavorful, spiced (not spicy), fresh, and really delicious. Add great service and a cool location in San Mateo Market and this place is worth a trip. “I really like this Bonchon location. There’s usually not much of a wait, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Ordering is easy, and the space is both kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible, which I appreciate.

A few of my go-to favorites here are the Spicy Chicken (definitely the best in my opinion), Yangnyeom, Soy Garlic, and their Japchae. The chicken is always tender on the inside with that signature crispy exterior. As for the Japchae, it’s packed with ingredients and full of flavor—definitely worth trying.

Ultimately, I opted for the baked pork chop, which closely resembled my previous experiences and was quite enjoyable. “I won’t exaggerate, but this place is breathtaking. Not only the atmosphere is peaceful yet vibrant and colorful but the cuisine is amazing. I know I’ve said in the past I’ve like Asian food but this is number one best Asian food. Their Asian style sandwich with sweet and savory chicken is delicious. I ordered fries and thought I would get regular fries but these were so amazing and sweet I should apologize for assuming I would get basic. It’s even more amazing where the people there are nice. The lady who took my order always smiling saying positive stuff we need more people like her.

Orange Bowl is even better than Ed's Gourmet, and the people are delightful. I want to try some of their other dishes, but keep ordering the spicy teriyaki because it's so good!“

“Some of the best pho I’ve had anywhere. They’re pretty committed to their closing hours, so if you go, be sure to get there at least 40 minutes before closing. The kitchen closes 30 minutes before the dining area. I do wish they had later hours sometimes, but that’s just a selfish desire on my part because our family tends to do things later at night than most people. When we want pho, we just try extra hard to get there early enough like normal people during acceptable dinner hours. It’s worth it, the broth is just so good!“

I tried three flavors and all were great. The second day I ended up ordering some drums too which were a hit with my kid.. we got the soy garlic, the Korean BBQ and Yangnyeom. There is a subtle difference between all three of them so I honestly didn’t know which was which while eating them but can honestly say that ALL of them tasted incredible.

The lady who prepped my order was incredibly sweet and really helped me get my order ready. She even helped me get the right sauce as well as clean it up when it got messy. I know I am gonna be ordering from here soon over and over again!“
