I am very happy with the service. Now on to the food. The food tasted great and was very refreshing. I had a boss bowl with al pastor. They were able to chop everything up for me so I would have very minimal chewing. I'm glad I decided to try this place out for the first time. I missed eating delicious food. Looks like I found my go to place to eat when I get sick of this liquid diet.“

If you read the smaller sign, you will be invited to try “estilo Sinaloa” and if you pick up the menu you will see even that narrowed down to the Pueblo Mágico of Cosalá.

As with restaurants that offer food from Culiacán, Sinaloa’s capital which lives on lower ground about 155 kilometers from Cosalá, the food focuses more on the land than the sea. While you might be tempted by tacos de marlin that show up on the menu, it is plates of chilorio ($18.95) that should take top billing. This dish of slow-cooked pork that is then fried with chiles once tender is available with eggs or vegetables. Each plate comes with rice, a wedge of white cheese, and a pool of frijoles puercos, one of the most amazing foods that come from Sinaloa.“

Side of refried beans and white rice sprinkled with cotija cheese. One word. Phenomenal. Add a chia lemonade, and I'd say I had the perfect breakfast. Second dish was a pozole with a side of pata had to order a second pata it was so good and tender. Radio Joya in the background playing, definitely took us Mexico City in what felt a 70s era. But honestly, everything is so good.. The nachos are fried fresh with fresh tortillas made in the morning, the guacamole is hand-made and thick with just the right seasoning, and all of the proteins are perfectly marinated and made with care. And the staff and owners are the coolest people. Friendly, down-to-earth, and they all put their heart and soul into this place. We'll definitely be back!“

Only issue is a gentlemen who I am assuming is the owner came in and started being a bit loud when he came in and had the employees scrambling when he was telling them what to do, while myself and other patrons were eating. So the atmosphere got a bit awkward. No ones to blame and I'm sure the owner was doing his best as the restaurant is new. But that's something that should be done a bit quieter when other patrons aren't here or eating. But for the most part everything else was great.“
