“Just ordered 2 hot mocha coffees. Didn't expect much...wow! Truly delicious! Usually, these coffee shops have bitter coffee. Not this one. Highly recommend.“

“The venue itself is pretty nice. However. When there's special events, I think there should be more than one person serving. It took awhile for us to order or get our refills. I'm sure it's a much better service when it's not a special occasion. But, their biggest event is the Christmas parade time. They should have still been prepared. Their little patio area is very nice.“

“A fabulous dining experience. I had their chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and garlic spinach. Not only was the chicken moist and fantastic tasting, the portions were generous. I tried my wife's filet mignon, and that too was delicious. Even the drinking water was exceptional, having been filtered with no funny taste of any kind. Our server, Harrison, gave first-class service and was very friendly and personable. Finally the decor was warm and inviting. If you are in town and don't mind paying a little extra for you meal, then stop here. You'll be glad you did.“

“We stopped here after going to Solvang Brewery because we wanted to bar hop but no are specifically trying other beers in the area. We were surprised to walk into a beer shop with a nice gentleman who could tell we looked lost but when I asked about the bar the said it was a membership bar but since it was our first time he let us in as visitors with a pass to what I now know is a speakeasy. Super cool entrance which explains unassuming the beer shop. We were welcomed and impressed by the beer selection on tap. The server was very knowledgeable and the patrons were all extremely friendly and welcoming. We struck up a few conversations about beer, about the locals and just general chit chat with good beer and good people. They also sell snacks and there's an outdoor patio and games to play, things to read, and just a very cool atmosphere overall. Nothing snooty or pretentious about this place. It's great to be in a comfortable setting with mature adults who just love beer! Highly recommend place to chill and slavtually conversate with fellow beer admirerers. We would definitely go back and if you're local a membership is worth it.“

“Paula’s Pancake House was fast, had great service, and delicious food. A real down-home breakfast spot! Our server, Daniela, greeted us right away, took our drink order quickly, and followed up shortly after for our food. Everything came out fast and tasted amazing. We shared a Danish pancake (a must-try!), and also had the chicken fried steak and hash Benedict, all excellent!“

“This place is a gem, very beautiful property and great view of landscape from the patio. I went to dinner and had a wonderful experience. Im a difficult person to please and let me tell you everything was perfect. Restrooms were super clean and dining area. Staff was very attentive and paid attention to detail. Especially the female bartender and our waitress. I ordered a mint Julep that took me back to the Kentucky derby. The food for the kids was delicious and our food was amazing. Definitely recommend this place. I would like to make a recommendation add a steak to the menu for dinner service.“
“Natalie was a great host and the wine was delicious. We left with a bottle. 😊 🍷“
“One of the best wineries in Solvang. Quaint and modern, bar seating and indoor lounge vibe with outside fire pit tables. Always delicious. If you are looking to join a wine club the Consilience is our pick. Always reliable and very yummy. Like most of Solvang they are dog friendly.“
“Lucas & Lewellen offers four different wine tasting options, and—because they’re merciful—you can even mix and match. The wines are decent, with Costa del Sol standing out enough that we actually bought a couple bottles, which is the wine-tasting equivalent of true love.
The vibe is family-friendly, pet-friendly, basically everyone-friendly… except maybe the staff. They weren’t exactly rude, but let’s just say “warmth” wasn’t really on the tasting menu.
Still, good wine in Solvang plus a place where your kids and your dog can both tag along? Hard to complain—though, to be clear, I still will.“

“This was the perfect place to have lunch. I had the half sandwich and salad option. The food was fresh and delicious. It was served on a cute colorful plate. It did not take long to get my order which I ate in their nice courtyard. I thought they had good service and good prices.“
“If you're planning a trip to Solvang, do yourself a favor and make The Sanger Family of Wines your first stop. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. It was, without exaggeration, the highlight of my birthday weekend.
I've been coming to Sanger every time I visit Solvang, and it's always a must for me. The wines are consistently outstanding, and the tasting room atmosphere is pristine. Elegant yet welcoming. But this visit was on another level. Our group of nine showed up without a reservation, and instead of turning us away, we were welcomed with warmth and grace. Eddie, who led our tasting, deserves endless praise. He didn't just pour wine, he created an experience. From his deep knowledge to his thoughtful pacing, he made my birthday feel truly special. It was my first time having Eddie as a guide, and he has set the bar sky-high.
As if that weren't enough, we also had the privilege of meeting Bill Sanger himself. Not only is he the owner, but he radiates the passion and heart behind this family of wines. He greeted us like old friends, and it was easy to see how his heritage and vision have shaped this incredible tasting room and the Mediterranean-inspired wines they produce.
Every pour told a story, each wine was distinctive, memorable, and beautifully showcased the Central Coast terroir.
I've done plenty of tastings up and down California, and I can say with confidence: nothing compares to what we experienced at Sanger Family of Wines. Between the world-class hospitality, the exceptional wines, and the unforgettable personal touches, this is a place I'll be recommending to everyone I know.
If you're on the fence about where to taste in Solvang, don't be. This is where tradition, passion, and hospitality converge. Book a tasting, ask for Eddie, and prepare to be blown away.“

“This place is a must if you travel to solvang!! The pretzel with the dip was AMAZING !! but for me the sausages are just average and a bit pricey but they had a lot of sauces to choose from. It just so happen we went here during summer around 2pm thats why it was so hot. And half of the tables does not have shade so I do recommend come here when the sun is not that bright.“
“We have a good experience with our young & Sharp bar tender, the German-American Lamar, he was so very attentive. The wine testing pretty good, tasted the industrial wine flight, We bought the bottle of Five Hearts.“
“Amazing wine, amazing view, amazing service!!!“
“Surprising and delightful find in the heart of faux-Danish Solvang! Wide variety of tea and non-tea flavors, and we loved all the ones we tried. Boba are the perfect texture, and the interior has a goofy Scandinavian aesthetic that matches the town. We went two days in a row and were thrilled both times, no matter what we tried!“

“We visited Lincourt without a reservation hoping we might be able to get a spot and were welcomed so warmly. Julian served us and had such deep knowledge of the wine and history of the winery. We had a bottle of the Courtney chardonnay and it was bright and crisp, perfect for a hot afternoon. Julian was so kind and helpful and we enjoyed the comfortable seating, great and quick service, and calm atmosphere. This place is a perfect place to visit, a bit off the beaten path for SB wineries and a smaller and more intimate experience, which is exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend.“

“Long over due Review:
We have been here 3 times over the years and Jazmine was our server each time.
She provides amazing service, has a warm smile and bartends too.
We got a full rack of ribs which is huge ( half shown in picture ) , brisket, fried pickles and skillet cookie.
All the food was delicious especially the ribs.
For cocktails we got the country lemonade which is my favorite and a penicillin.
They have a huge whiskey list and if you buy a doulbe the 2nd shot is half off !
Highly recommend this restaurant and I'll be back each time I visit Solvang.“

“Top-notch experience. I really enjoyed the burger, at $31 it is definitely pricey but when you compare it to a Eureka burger at $25 this tasted better and had larger portions.
Drinks were delicious too. Their old fashioned was one of the best I've had recently. Also recommend the fettuccine prawns, the spicy sauce on it was great.“

“The only thing I regretted was forgetting to take pictures of the crepes! We ordered a savory and 2 sweet ones, they tasted SO good and were like homemade, they actually were, because they were made right in front of our eyes.
The owner was super nice and sweet, she shared with us the history of the shop and the area. We will definitely return in the future! Thank you so much for the hospitality upon our first visit to Solvang!“

“Excellent Breakfast/Brunch place in Solvang if you like Crepes (particularly savory). Most other breakfast places in town have sweet Crepes.
Service was excellent and so was the food that we ordered— fresh squeezed OJ, Ratatouille Crepes, European style Waffles with green apples, and Crepes Benedict. Plenary of free parking in the town. Lots of boutique shops nearby if you want to get a pleasant walk after the meal.“

“Everyone in our party of 6 left happy after their dinner. We did 3 courses. Each course was well spaced out for all of us to enjoy each meal. Favorite appetizer the meatballs, and the marinera sauce was done just right. Dinner we all did pizza, spaghetti carbonara, or the Milanese di pollo. Dessert you can't go wrong, but the tiramisu is done so well all the flavors were so well balanced. If you're looking for Italian food in solvang this is the place to go to satisfy your craving.“

“Chef David Cecchini truly outdid himself with the recent Cecco Supper Club event. From start to finish, this dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Every detail, from the carefully curated menu to the perfectly paired wines by Amber Rose Wines, reflected an incredible level of thought and skill. The evening began with a canapé reception and a crisp, elegant Rosé, setting the tone for the culinary journey ahead. The first course, Coquilles Saint Jacques, was an absolute delight—baked scallops in a creamy white wine sauce, beautifully gratinéed and paired perfectly with a bright Sauvignon Blanc. The flavors were rich, yet balanced, showcasing the chef’s expertise in French cuisine. The Warm Salad Niçoise that followed was a masterpiece. The seared tuna was cooked to perfection, complementing the tender fingerling potatoes, crisp haricots verts, and briny olives. It was a symphony of textures and flavors, enhanced by the accompanying Pinot Noir. The main course, Beef Bourguignon, featured tender short ribs in a deeply flavorful red wine reduction. Paired with a Grenache/Syrah blend, it was hearty, comforting, and elevated—a true celebration of rustic French cooking. To close the evening, the Cherry Clafoutis was pure perfection. The balance of tart Amarena cherries and the delicate custard-like cake was divine, especially when paired with Spanish coffee. It was the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. Chef Cecchini’s attention to detail and passion for his craft were evident in every dish. This was not just a meal; it was a culinary experience that transported us to the heart of Provence. Highly recommend attending one of these events—you won’t regret it!“
