“Talk about excellent customer service. Even though they almost kicked me out for mentioning Peanut butter whiskey haha. Food was delicious the ambiance was so much fun. The bar, music and drinks were on point. Got an espresso martini with real espresso shot and now I’m a fan. Thank you for a great experience my husband and I will be back for sure!!!“

“Great owners and wonderful staff. The location is excellent and the food incredible... They are not a regular restaurant, so check the day you are going to see what's on the menu and if they are hosting a private event. I totally recommend Fridays for the Viking Sandwich and a honey ale. They have awesome wines as well. One of the best local spots for my wife and I. Be sure to stop by when in Solvang.“

“I was here 4/6 for the first time. I came here because I saw that people commented that they had gluten-free baked goods, and I am an instant fan. The good or bad thing for me is that I live over 100 miles from here...so, I will have more reasons to vist family in Santa Maria just to make a stop here. So, what I got was the peanut butter cookie (best I've ever had with or w/o wheat). I also the super food latte w/beet root and raw cocoa...yum❣ Next time I'm adding and espresso shot to it. Ibrought home two different slices of their bread too... that I shouldn't have but tried anyway... rye w/walnuts and hard sourdough. Both tasty good. 🤩🤗🥖☕🍪“

“LOVED IT. All four staff members working were super friendly and awesome. We had Crystal serving our table, and she was a delight! The wine was great, the atmosphere welcoming, and they’re dog friendly. We got the $30 tasting and tried a couple extras as well (the brute was especially yummy). It will be hard to beat this experience! Highly recommend stopping by.“
“Feliz Noche Cellars is a hidden gem in the Solvang, in the Santa Ynez Valley! Tasting room Manager, Chucky Hernandez is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making the tasting experience both educational and fun. You're welcomed with warmth when you enter the tasting room in Solvang. Felipe Hernandez's winemaking skills are evident in every bottle. The wines are outstanding, each providing a unique taste of the region. I especially enjoyed their signature blends.“

“Amazing experience! I visited last week during my visit to Solvang and did the white flight. Everything I tried was amazing- loved the Rosé of Pinot Noir and the Chenin Blanc. My dog Zoey sat on the patio with me and enjoyed some treats from the staff.“

“One of the highlights of our trip! It was crazy busy in Solvang over this weekend (December), people were lined up outside of other places, and we managed to get in here! The two workers (a young man and an older woman (sorry, I can't remember their names) were awesome. It has an old fashioned/European/romantic feel. There was also live music. Vast selection of wine and beer. I had a delicious dry champagne, and my husband loved the German beer on tap. We had a cheese plate that was incredible value. We will be back next time we are in Solvang!“

“Came here for happy hour. The duck fat fries and aioli were delicious. The cocktails were unique and tasty as well. They were quite busy but our server always made time to check in on us and our orders came out in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend and come back!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to enter the restaurant.“
“I’ve been a Consilience wine club member for many years and I’ve enjoyed wines from my travels all over the world. I can’t say enough good about the staff, fantastic service, always courteous and helpful, and the wines are absolutely top shelf, some of the finest without a doubt. I have never been disappointed and have always enjoyed a personal relationship and formed friendships over the years with some of the staff when ordering additional cases. I moved to SC in June of 2021, a state not on the shipping list HOWEVER I’m thrilled that since then, they have licensing to ship to SC and I am over the moon happy!!! Can’t wait for my first case to arrive and share with friends !!! Happy Margo in Hilton Head Bluffton.“
“Great experience in the Spice Merchant today. So happy they do mail order!“
“Honestly, the experience my best friend and I had at Sanger Wines will be hard to beat. We started out at the bar inside the beautiful tasting room, and although it was our plan to visit more tasting rooms, we ended up spending hours by one of the cozy fire pits.
The wine was amazing, they have some very interesting blends and a broad variety of wines within their three labels (the Marianello Cielo Rubio was my favorite). They also have olive oil tasting, which was a fun and delicious addition.
We were helped by both Del and manager Eddie, who were both very knowledgeable and also fun, they created a great dynamic and atmosphere. The atmosphere was just great all over, the staff, ambiance and management really elevated the experience.
Also, we were lucky to be able to meet the wine maker and talk to him for a bit as well. There’s a lot of history and passion in this business and you can see and feel that.
Brought back some bottles for friends and family and they all loved it. Will definitely go back!“

“Be prepared to wait up to TWO HOURS to be seated here! That’s what they were telling us and many other guests as we walked up. Fortunately we were seated within 10min after we mentioned to remove us from the wait list….since there was some outside seating available on the right side of the building (bring a thick jacket, it gets very cold out there) It would be so nice to allow reservations but they don’t take any.
The great service made up for the inconvenience. Our server frequently checked in with us.
Appetizers we recommend :
Loaded Mac n Cheese (love the jalapeño spicy taste)
Fried Pickles (surprisingly addicting)
Highly recommend their Cobb Steak Salad!
Ultra delicious!!
And you’ll love the tenderness of their Smoked Brisket plate. The sandwich version is also good: Smoked Brisket sandwich.
Other tasty items included
Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich
Brisket Chili“

“We had the Danish pancakes and a Danish omelet for breakfast. The pancakes are European style, large and thin, akin to a crepe. With glazed apple on top. Delicious. The omelet features their Danish sausage with havarti cheese. Very light and great. Fruit cup was all fresh fruit, nothing from a can. Service fast and efficient. A busy festive place. Highly recommend.“

“We bought a vegetarian sandwich and a black forest ham and cheese. These are very good sandwiches but we didn't think they rated more than 4 stars. We ordered two salads and both came with a balsamic dressing that we thought had a harsh taste, perhaps because the ratio of vinegar to oil was too much or the balsamic vinegar was not very smooth. A decent, but not exciting choice.“

“Nice outdoor spot with good Bavarian food selections. You order at the entrance and then they bring food out to you. Somehow our order was lost, and we asked about it about 20 minutes later. The host apologized and offered a comp to make up for the error. We shared 3 sausages, a big pretzel, and (free) potato salad. The pretzel was soft and flavorful. The sausages were spicy, as we hoped they would be. The potato salad was also very good. They had a good selection of sauces and dressing for the sausages. Also, a good beer selection. Also, even though the setting was outdoors it was well shaded and comfortable.“

“We visited Lincourt without a reservation hoping we might be able to get a spot and were welcomed so warmly. Julian served us and had such deep knowledge of the wine and history of the winery. We had a bottle of the Courtney chardonnay and it was bright and crisp, perfect for a hot afternoon. Julian was so kind and helpful and we enjoyed the comfortable seating, great and quick service, and calm atmosphere. This place is a perfect place to visit, a bit off the beaten path for SB wineries and a smaller and more intimate experience, which is exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend.“

“We stopped in here three times during our stay in Solvang. The first was for lunch - we had the Caprese Panini and Arugula Salad. The second time was to pick up a salad for a picnic. On our last visit, we bought French chocolates made by French chocolatier Jean-Michele Carré. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the service was great.“

“Solvang was crowded on the day we visited. Every restaurant was packed and long lines. Until we got to the end of the streets and passed by craft house which didn't have any lines. The place was nice and cozy. They also have outdoor seating. We ordered simple foods, nothing fancy, since not everyone was hungry. Pizza, chicken tenders, salad. They have a bar. The place is huge from the inside it seemed they have a banquet room.“

“I loved the pizza! So good! Arcade machines are also fine.
Funny story, we were ordering, and a worker dropped a few boxes next to me. I helped out only for my drink I bought elsewhere to fall out of my pocket, and somehow busted, and spilled on the floor. I felt very bad, but the lady was willing to give me a replacement for my drink, but there was enough to drink, and said I was good. Still a good place to dine if you are in the area.“

“Chef David Cecchini truly outdid himself with the recent Cecco Supper Club event. From start to finish, this dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Every detail, from the carefully curated menu to the perfectly paired wines by Amber Rose Wines, reflected an incredible level of thought and skill. The evening began with a canapé reception and a crisp, elegant Rosé, setting the tone for the culinary journey ahead. The first course, Coquilles Saint Jacques, was an absolute delight—baked scallops in a creamy white wine sauce, beautifully gratinéed and paired perfectly with a bright Sauvignon Blanc. The flavors were rich, yet balanced, showcasing the chef’s expertise in French cuisine. The Warm Salad Niçoise that followed was a masterpiece. The seared tuna was cooked to perfection, complementing the tender fingerling potatoes, crisp haricots verts, and briny olives. It was a symphony of textures and flavors, enhanced by the accompanying Pinot Noir. The main course, Beef Bourguignon, featured tender short ribs in a deeply flavorful red wine reduction. Paired with a Grenache/Syrah blend, it was hearty, comforting, and elevated—a true celebration of rustic French cooking. To close the evening, the Cherry Clafoutis was pure perfection. The balance of tart Amarena cherries and the delicate custard-like cake was divine, especially when paired with Spanish coffee. It was the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. Chef Cecchini’s attention to detail and passion for his craft were evident in every dish. This was not just a meal; it was a culinary experience that transported us to the heart of Provence. Highly recommend attending one of these events—you won’t regret it!“

“Wonderful yummy restaurant! Great ambiance. Service was really good. Very attentive! Food was delicious! Started with the burrata salad and the beef carpacio. Both delicious. I had the Risotto Primavera which had lots of veggies. It was large enough to feed two people but I ended up having some left over to take back to hotel (yay!). Husband had the lasagna which was a good healthy serving size. We would recommend this place for sure!“
