“I got the fish sandwich with the upgraded caviar tartar sauce. It came with French fries and Daybird sauce...it was good. I am not sure the caviar is worth the price point. They don't really have much of a space for sitting in and dining. So if you want to eat you need to go down one of the nearby alleyways and sit at the tables there.“

“I ended up here for a late night meal. Was not expecting much, never looked at pictures, just overall ratings. I rarely find a good hot chicken this far from the Cumberland River. I was so happily surprised. They use a dry rub, and not a "hot sauce". The meat was tender and delicious. I chose the hottest option and was not disappointed. I had to sign a waiver, which is a little silly, but I'd be happy to sign one again on my next visit. spicy, tender and delicious. I also purchased the Kale Slaw and that was very good.The chocolate shake was excellent as well.The service was just as good as the meal . “This spot is my new go-to for chicken sliders and fries. Try Steve's fries (comes in mild, medium or hot). Very bomb food and the seating area is outdoors so especially with COVID going on, it felt very safe to eat at. Employees were great about cleaning the tables as soon as customers got up. “Amazing consistent food. I have been going for 2 years, and the spicy chicken breading and quality have not been diluted post pandemic. The only issue with this location is the seating area, and the front door needs to be fixed as it locks open and lets in the freeway smells. I recommend the spicy chicken with the mac and cheese. “Chicken Day is my favorite fried chicken spot - I've been going for over a decade now having tried the best chicken in NYC, Nashville, and of course, LA and this is THE spot. So underrated. The original fried chicken is my favorite go-to with the sauce and extra radish but honestly, the entire menu is great - you can't go wrong.Parking: In a plaza, there's always a lot of spots. If not, you can just park in the streets, there are no meters so you never have to pay.“

I normally go to the Pico Union one but this one has easier parking and more seating. They also have more selection but I've never gotten anything but the chicken. “Dined in at 2pm on a Friday and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. I was greeted by the worker at the register. She asked if I was dining in or take out and I told her "dine in." I was seated and given the menu, plates, utensils, and even pickled radish right away. I took some time to study the menu and both workers checked in to see if I wanted any recommendations. One of the guys was very knowledgeable about the wing sauces and the menu but I didn't get his name. Eventually I gave them my order and I waited about 5 minutes and my food came out one at a time. Cheesling Fries (9/10) - The cheese powder on the fries were amazing! It wasn't too overpowering or too cheesy. The fries were hot and crispy. They even drizzle it in the secret sauce. It was very well balanced together. Rose Ddeok-Bokki (8/10) - The first few bites tasted like it needed more seasoning and flavor. The more I ate it, the better it got. It was not spicy for me and it was a great combination of creamy with a small but of tang. The rice cakes were soft and chewy. It was also very delicious overall.Secret Sauce Wings (8.5/10) - The chicken wings were very fresh. The batter was still crispy and the sauce was sweet, tangy, and sticky. It reminded me of my favorite childhood Chinese dish, Peking Pork Chop or sweet and sour pork chop. It did get soggy once the wings sat too long. Soy Garlic Wings (7.5/10) - The soy flavor overpowered the garlic in these wings but overall a really solid choice. The wings were also hot and crispy with a sweet and salty sauce. Overall, the food is 8/10. The service was 10/10. They checked in with me at least every 10-15 minutes. They gave me napkins without asking for it. I had a very pleasant experience!“

Ok so for all this it was less than you would pay at any other places. I'm not a big fan of coleslaw but this one was delish, their salsa was a little salty for my liking but definitely had all the flavors going. The rice and beans were also great in flavor. Overall I would rate this place a 9 out of 10. I think if they added avocado to their family special it would be all so much tasty and a 10 from me! On the menu he had the option to add cut pieces of chicken on top for an additional fee. I opt out of the chicken on top just wanted chili and cheese. When my food arrived they put the chicken on top instead of sending it back I just tried it. The fries where okay I removed the chicken off the top because it just didn't taste right to me. I would have to try them again with extra cheese because they where sort of skimpy with the cheese. Their sunset drink is good though. No refills on specialty drinks so be prepared to pay.“
