“I'll start off by saying yes, this does taste just as good as it looks. I'm so glad I gave this place a shot. It was super eye catching and looked like a very unique take on ice cream. Their flavors and pastries are all hand crafted from what I could tell and it shows because they taste amazing. Everything I had was absolutely delicious and I'll definitely be coming back. When we went, there was only one person working so be prepared to wait but I promise that it's worth it. I will say next time I'll probably go with a regular scoop because I feel like I got less ice cream than my girlfriend who didn't get the bun. The bun however, was very flavorful and wasn't too thick, which I appreciated. Also if you get a bun, it does melt and get messy which is to be expected so be prepared for that. “Passed by this place on the way to dinner with my friends, and I realized that I have bookmarked this place for awhile. Upon entering we were greeted by the employees and could request samples to try out their unique ice cream flavors. I sampled the Banana Puddin, but I didn't end up with that one because I didn't think it had enough banana flavor. I then sampled the Creme Fraiche, and that one tasted a lot like cheese/sour cream so I decided to pair it with the Brown Sugar Lavender. In a small bowl you can get up to 2 flavors, so that is what I did, and it did not disappoint. The interior of the place gives a lot of retro diner vibes, it felt very nostalgic. I enjoyed my ice cream with my friends sitting at one of the tables while seeing other customers come in and sit down at the bar to order their own ice cream. There's a variety of options to choose from, which includes milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, boozy floats, and more. I think the unique menu in both flavor and types of desserts make the Ice Cream Bar have an identity of its own compared to other ice cream parlors. If I'm ever in the area again, I look forward to their rotation of flavors and trying out the other desserts“

I ordered the Stellato Special with the works, and my partner ordered the Alpino. The combination of turkey, artichoke, and sun dried tomatoes were delicious, and the ingredients all tasted very fresh. Today I was craving a sandwich and even saw a few posts about sandwiches on social media today, so I decided to stop in Marina Submarine. I've never tried a tuna melt, but it was raining today and it was calling my name. Not only was this tuna melt AMAZING, but it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! It's really awesome to try something for the first time and be blown out of the water! The jalapeño on this sandwich gave it a nice subtle heat and added layer of flavor. The sourdough bread was perfectly toasted. First time here and it didn't disappoint! I'm very impressed and I'll be back.“

“Came here with a friend who knows that I like trying out unique flavors. This little discreet ice cream shop nestled in Alameda was small but had a lot to offer. They had super interesting flavors : match Oreo, animal cookie, pandan coconut, Dan tat (!), calamansi, durian and more. I have tried many Asian flavored ice creams, but find most of them are lacking in flavor or leaning more on vanilla or creamy tones to make them more palatable for folks unfamiliar with them. I, however, want my ice cream to taste exactly like Durian or Ube if that's how it is labeled, not a toned down version. This place delivers on that because you're getting exactly what you imagined with no punches pulled. The Dan tat (egg tart) flavor especially blew my mind because I have not ever seen this flavor offered before, it's one of my favorite nostalgic treats from childhood and it tasted exactly like an egg tart. I did end up getting matcha Oreo instead because I was in the mood for something not too sweet and the authentic bitterness in the matcha was the perfect solution. My friend got the animal cookie and it was a perfect rendition of the cookie itself. The workers were nice and tolerant of us trying out a few different samples which is how I know everything was super flavorful. My only critique is that the size of the scoop and quality of the ice cream itself could be improved a notch, but I'm used to Gunther's in sacramento so it's hard to compare.“

No greeting in this tiny counter-only shop but you order on the computer screen there so not really a big deal as to service, good offerings as far as teas and snacks. We ordered a cheesefoam white peach oolong with grass jelly and a red bean smoothie with green tea, pudding, and boba which were both pretty good. Fair prices for both, we would stop by here again if we can find decent parking.“
