“Lovely dinner at Prik Hom. Scallop & lemongrass appetizer & dessert (coconut pancakes & coconut ice cream) were by far my favorites. Mushroom curry soup was light and subtle. Seafood curry was rich & tasty, but did not love the texture of the stir fried shrimp. They were out of a few things like white rice and coconut water. Quiet atmosphere conducive to casual catchup with friends. Like another reviewer said, def worth trying at least once!“

I got the Original Chicken Rice bowl with side of broccali. My friend got the salad with Tofu. Both great. He sauces are fresh and flavorful. One is quite hot which I love. I recommend it. “I visited Sawaan a couple months ago now and I still remember the fondness I felt after leaving the meal. They are a new modern Thai restaurant with a fresh take on a thai cuisine menu and trendy decor. The staff here are so sweet and considerate.

We ordered the tofu cloud, spicy drunken heaven, and the lemongrass catfish. The tofu cloud came with this thick and sweet peanut sauce. I enjoyed the aromatics in the drunken noodles. Our favorite was definitely the catfish. Make sure to eat everything while it is hot! You can taste the freshness in the catfish.

Food is most important at a restaurant, yet I’d like to highlight how well decorated Sawaan is. They put a lot of effort in the design choices from the ceramics to the light fixtures to the menu.“

“We had an amazing experience at Hed 11 Very Thai Restaurant for Valentine's Day. I ordered Set 1 (Ribeye & Shrimp) and my girlfriend had Set 3 (Chicken). Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced — especially the green curry, Massaman curry, and fresh salads. My girlfriend has a mushroom allergy, and the server was incredibly attentive, offering her mushroom-free options without hesitation. That level of care made us feel very comfortable and appreciated. We left happy, satisfied . I've also already made a reservation this Tuesday night at Hed 11 to enjoy their beautiful 11-course tasting menu!!“

“No wait and lots of open tables. We came around 6:00pm on a Monday. We have been coming here since the original location was on Monterey Blvd. All their food is delicious and not Thai spicy unless you want that burn and I am sure they can help you with that.

They start you off with a basket of fried shrimp chips and a tamarind dipping sauce. Plus water for everyone.

Their Thai ice tea is always on point. Pad Se-ew with Chicken has been my go to dish. Double cooked Duck. 😋 Their whole menu has wonderful options.“

My all-year round favorite dish at the ThaiNery is tasty eggplant tofu over rice $15 (used to be $10) which imhv is a delicious, affordable and “safe bet” ingredients wise. The owners are a middle-aged sliding young couple originally from Thailand and several cooks currently and in the past are Yucatecos who have appreciated how to cook authentic Thai through “combat experience” with an attitude to learn, improve and master. 🫡
