The amazing menu doesn’t necessarily lend itself to picky kid eaters (my son) but he loved the catch of the day with the sauce on the side. The food took a while as they were pretty busy so the manager comp’d 2 desserts which were both spectacular! We will be back!!“

“The pan-seared peppercorn-crusted filet mignon with potatoes au gratin and sautéed asparagus were as good as I've had anywhere. Thick, small and perfectly cooked medium-rare. And the thinly-sliced tomato salad was the perfect starter. We brought our own wine, but their in-house selection is outstanding. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Our waiter, Dominic, was professional and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a two and a half hour anniversary dinner in a lovely outdoor setting and will definitely revisit when we're back in Santa Barbara! “This is A big ass diner! Diner food right on the money! Home cooking, done right. I had the French dip sandwich. It was so tender and yummy. My daughter got the open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. She didn’t talk for 15 minutes while she was eating. We both ordered one drink. One drink, and we were ready to go dance in the street, and sing karaoke! What did they put in them? If you’re ever in Santa Barbara, make sure you go to Joe’s Café. Trust me, I don’t lie.“

“One of the best lunches we’ve ever had! This place is a very happy surprise. My husband and I shared the crispy chicken sandwich and macho salad. Both choices were fantastic.

The chicken sandwich was very well balanced. The bread was very light and didn’t overwhelm the sandwich and the spicy slaw, Swiss cheese, and tomato complimented the crispy chicken.

The macho salad was very unique with the dates, chicken, goat cheese, avocado, almonds, tomatoes and greens lightly dressed in a vinaigrette and the most amazing corn bread croutons.

We had to finish every last bite even though the portions were generous as it was just too good!“

From the planning process with Anthony, Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, to our waiter Jake, and Manager Sabit, the staff were all attentive and really accommodating. As soon as we got there, the staff came out and introduced themselves which we appreciated. We had one special request for a Vegan dish and the Chef went above and beyond to accommodate.
