“Semi self-service. (Raw) meat selection for the table & personalized soup base are brought to you; the remainder (veggies, tofu & seafood) come on the conveyor belt. You pick your own side-dish sauces (buffet style). All you can eat but limited to 90 min.

Meats were very fresh, as were the seafood, since we had an 11 am reservation (allowed for > 6 people; more on this below). Plentiful and speedy conveyor belt since we were the "1st shift" (get my drift?). I preferred shrimp & chicken (low fat), but was able to tear off the fat (yup, strip by strip if your diet tends in that direction) from the red meats. After a while, no one could tell what meats were on which plates! We thought the baby scallops were great: fresh and tender if you let it into the soup only for 15 seconds, yet they didn't toughen up if you left them in for a while. Shrimp: delicious & fresh, and you have a choice of shelled vs with the full metal jacket!

The variety of tofu was really good. The puffy rectangles were especially nice since they soaked up the soup and softened upon contact with moisture. There were sufficient greens to even things out. We saw a group of Buddhist monks in the queue, so you know it's possible to eat vegan here.

Some of the soup base selections were exceptional: tomato (so good!), mushrooms & Tonkatsu highly recommended (these all start with bone broth, I believe). Miso not so much (uninteresting). The soup gets more flavorful as the meal progresses, so it's better to get something not too intense.

We secured a reservation with 7 people, but personally, I wouldn't do this again. The seating for a big group still places the conveyor belt next to only 2 people, so now those closest to the belt must continuously serve the rest of the table. It's too much. Far better to break up the group into foursomes. However, I've heard that sometimes they stuff a lone customer onto a table for 3. How weird is that?

While the atmosphere is alright, the style of food service is such that it made for a feeding frenzy with no conversation (except to praise the food). If it's a visit you seek, this is not the experience you'd want. Or plan to visit another place afterwards.“

“Clean restaurant friendly servers convenient ordering monitors at each table, which makes it easy to know exactly what you're ordering and how much the bill will be. Sushi is good. Tables are kinda small if you have more than two or three people, not leaving much room after all the different sushi dishes are served to you. But overall, this is a nice, comfortable sushi place.“

It is always busy and has long waits on the weekend so come early. No reservations. It's first come, first serve. Good for families and friends. Kid friendly place too. The only gripe is that parking lot is small not a lot of parking space once it is full.“

“Solid Korean pub-style food with all your usual favorites like seafood pancake, tteokbokki, and fried chicken! We also had the skewers and pork bulgogi bowl, nothing disappointed.

Although the chestnut makgeolli was sold out, we tried the melon flavor instead and it was really nice! Think they added some fresh aloe in there and I love when places do this so it’s not just the same as a bottle I could buy from the market. And I especially love when it comes in the urns or teapots that make it feel more authentic or like something you would find in Korea. The little touches like this is fun!

“It was amazing overall experience I had. The floor staffs are very courteous and attentive. Their dishes are mouthwatering and fresh. I came in with my guests, and they were happy with high quality of dishes with outstanding service. We will let our circles know that they should definitely come out to Ondam and to check out.“

“Obviously, their iconic Daeho Kalbi Jjim tastes good. Definitely more on the sweet side, but quite authentic to kalbi jjim I've had in Korea. I also got their naemmyeon (sorry if I spelled it wrong). It was tasty and cold, but the portion is huge! Hard for 1 person to finish. Their banchan (kimchis) were lacking. They don't give much and they didn't taste very good. Kind of like if you made kimchi from home not realizing it'll take a couple days to get the proper fermented taste. Staff was attentive and handled the long lines and crowded restaurant well. However, THERE IS NO AC! PLACE WAS SO HOT!!! Be ready to sweat just from heat. I like the music choice though. Had some Big Bang playing and some other pre-BTS popular Kpop. Would I go again? Probably not. You save money making kalbi jjim at home. But it's a nice little experience.“

“Combination of hot pot and Korean BBQ at this all-you-eat restaurant in downtown Mountain View. There are also some dim sum items, but I would not recommend them. Meats were of decent quality, but some or the marinated beef was too sweet. Plenty of sauces and other herbs and spices to make your own dipping sauce. Service is super fast, but each portion is relatively small. Plenty of street parking and also several nearby parking lots.“

The texture, flavor, the coldness of the noodle all in one bowl was absolutely delicious!!! You must try that dish when visiting here. I devoured that bowl of food. You are able to adjust the spicy level. I personally loved it without much spicy too it so it doesn’t over kill the flavor already in the bowl of ingredients. “I became a fan of Woomihome after the second visit! Friends recommended Woomihome and I finally got to try it. I saw that they have meal kits, pre-made hearty soups, and side dishes. So far we have had spicy and sweet chewy noodles, steamed shishi peppers, yeolmu kimchi and braised beef in soy sauce. Everything we tried was tasty and did not disappoint. Woomihome has excellent customer service and it looks like it has a great system in place. The side dishes might be a tad bit pricier compared to Korean markets, but I can see that their quality and freshness speak volumes!“

However, the restaurant is a bit expensive, so considering the price, it is not good value for money. I think the taste is a bit disappointing considering the price. “They serve excellent kimchi cabbage here. It tastes like it was made with squid or fish sauce and is rich in umami flavors. Delicious and addictive! The kimchi radish while flavorful was a bit too soft for my liking. There were only these two banchan available, so more variety would be nice. I also ordered the seolleongtang, which had thin slices of beef with a delicate texture. After moving from LA I was worried about how good Korean food would be in the Bay Area. Places like Kunjip puts my mind at ease and I know I can get all the classic dishes done right. Looking forward to trying the galbi jim next!“

Food was yum!! Meet falls off of bone. Sides were great. Seafood pancake was also yum. Was hard to incorporate the cheese with the meet though it was just put on the side and so was the tteokbokki.

“Ive been going to this place for around 2ish years now and it is genuinely the most delicious korean food I’ve had in this area. They prepare everything fresh and the atmosphere and area is super nice. The food itself is so fresh and the fried chicken is super high quality and tender. Along with this, the owner is super hospitable and kind and always greets me when I come. Overall this place is a really nice and high quality spot and offers a variety of dishes that are super well made, I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting some well made korean food.“

“It’s inside Hmart supermarket! Has plenty of parking spot during weekdays, it’s right off 85 freeway off DeAnza Blvd. perfect spot to stop by for road trip. Easy in and out, restroom break, and bought some snacks too. I recommend Soon Tofu soup, and Hotstone Bibimbap. Spicy Rice cake appetizer was good, if you like spicy stuff.“

“This is no doubt the best Korean rice roll you can find in South Bay. Other dishes are good but not as memorable. I would skip Japchae as it is on the saltier side. Took off one star because their service is terrible. The waitress seems unhappy all the time. They don’t welcome small kids unless they can sit and eat like adults.
