“Hands down THE best Indian restaurant in the valley if not the city. Easily top 3. Top Quality ingredients, delicious dishes, warm family vibe, family level service. I’ve been coming here since they opened , in all that time, as other restaurants through Covid have dropped quality and raised prices, I’m so pleased and grateful for this gem in my own neighborhood. My favorite dishes I highly recommend : green chutni, garlic naan, best chicken tandoori, best lamb biryani , all their masala’s, even though Im not a big fan of vegan food, even that is fantastic. The owner is a sweet mom, she’s down to earth and genuine. Her family works there… oh one thing I forgot to mention that shows their care and quality, when you order the biryani for example, you get tons of meat, they don’t skimp. Always order more than u can eat. It’s that kinda place. Hopefully around for many more years“

“Nice place cute little place love it but the major problem is the tip that they force you to give is a minimum of 18% and it goes up to like 30%. This is getting way out of hand and really crazy and then they hover over you so they're looking at you while you're giving the tip it makes it very uncomfortable and you don't even let you cook less than 18%. I personally am a very big tipper so I do 20 to 30% minimum but that's cuz I'm crazy and I'm rich but I think it's not fair for regular people to have this as the only choices“

“The Baseline: For a seafood fast casual restaurant the fish/seafood needs to be fresh, the presentation of the food should be comforting and respect the delicacy of the seafood, and there must be a selection of accompanying offerings.

Food: The lobster is high quality here and the preparation is excellent. The Lobster Roll sampler is really good to try the different preparations. The full lobster roll is meaty and filling. The chips are nice but wish I had fries. The soda selection is awesome (got a Maine Blueberry soda). The price is what you get when you order the lobster.

Service: Counter order deliver to your table service. Good and efficient.

Ambiance: The restaurant is really well presented and has good decor. The bathroom was clean. The seating was well laid out and the lighting was good in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the outside is Santa Monica 2025 and is sketchy at night (not the restaurant’s fault)“

Highly recommend the Hamachi/yellowtail toro (so underrated), the scallops, and the squid/ika, but honestly any of the options won’t disappoint. Also a big fan of their tamago and their Takuan roll (which has fresh perilla leaves inside)!

“This restaurant is phenomenal! First of all the food is dreamy, I particularly LOVE the shrimp pasta. The cocktails are also just insane i love the fresh fruit in them sooo yummy! We have come multiple times and every time is great. Staff is always so friendly. Came on Fathers Day w/ the hubby & sat at the bar. Our bartender Lexi was killin it. I was kinda surprised with my bills and how the restaurant dictate the gratuity %….Overall, I love dining in this restaurant because we were welcome and were given a great and warm reception. “I will like to give a shout out to the chef. I think his name is Shawn or Sean. When we got to Santa Monica, we looked up restaurants to go have our 26 year anniversary dinner, we stayed at Hotel Delmar right across the street. We googled the restaurant menu, and decided what we were going to have. when we got there, and they brought out the menus, all what we decided to have was not on there. I was crushed. Because I had my mind set on the Halibut. I said it's ok I will just have the Ribeye, mind you I had a ribeye steak the night before. When the waiter came back, my wife asked if it's possible to get the Halibut and he said let me check with the chef. He came back later and said the chef said it's no problem. I was blown away. That was the best Halibut ( besides mine) that I have ever had. Thank you chef Shawn. From one chef to another, thank you. you made my night.“

“I absolutely love this place. Every time I’ve brought my dog Harry Potter (which is every visit!), we’ve both been treated with such warmth and care. One of his favourite meals is the salmon and rice dish, and when we walked in today he got so excited because he knew exactly what was coming!

The management truly go above and beyond. They remember both my name and my dog’s name every time we visit, and they’re always incredibly kind and generous — on our last visit, it was a bit chilly and the manager even lent me his jacket. “This is definitely one of the oldest and nicest place in LA to offer good food next to a public and accessible beach.
One of the best time to go is by mid-afternoon as it’s less crowded and in the winter you can enjoy the sunset by 5pm. They do offer a lot of seafood dishes from the traditional clams chowder to the lovely lobster roll. For the kids they have a couple off-menu options such as a special kids fish n chips.
Definitely a great spot that I recommend for brunch and afternoon drinks and snacks.

Shout out to Julian, an employee, who helped take our order at the kiosk when there was a bit of a wait at the register. We dined in and he checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we need. 10/10 recommend the food here. The fish, sides, and clam chowder were even better than some of the more upscale restaurants we’ve tried previously.
