“Nestled in the heart of Arcadia, Phoenix Restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey through Southern Chinese desserts and Cantonese comfort food. As a frequent patron, it has become my go-to destination whenever cravings for authentic Cantonese flavors arise. One of the highlights of Phoenix Restaurant is their traditional approach to crafting dishes, exemplified by their exquisite red bean paste soup. Cooked using the time-honored method with dried orange peel and lotus seeds, this dessert embodies nostalgia with every spoonful. The texture of the red bean paste is impeccably balanced, meeting my discerning taste preferences perfectly. For those seeking a savory indulgence, the Yandchow fried rice stands out as a quintessential comfort dish. Bursting with flavor and expertly prepared, each bite offers a comforting embrace reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Whether enjoyed as a standalone delight or paired with other Cantonese classics, the Yandchow fried rice never fails to impress.Beyond the culinary delights, Phoenix Restaurant prides itself on exceptional service that adds to the overall dining experience. Attentive staff members ensure that every visit is met with warmth and efficiency, enhancing the ambiance of the restaurant. Moreover, the reasonable prices at Phoenix Restaurant make it an accessible option for both casual dining and special occasions. “9537 Las Tunas Dr, Temple City, CA 91780 is located in Temple City, Los Angeles County. The name of the store is "Hometown Noodle House". As the name suggests, the restaurant specializes in all kinds of noodles and various hometown-style stir-fried dishes and snacks. The owner of the restaurant is a Shanxi native and he is a Shanxi restaurant owner. A member of the association, he has been running a restaurant for many years. He has many branches. The boss's business philosophy is that customers come first, quality comes first, and service comes first. In order to ensure the quality of the meals, the boss has strict requirements on the selection of ingredients, and he selects the best ingredients on the market. Good ingredients and strict control ensure the quality. In addition, this store has hired Master Mu, a top chef from Shanxi Grand Hotel, to cook in person at a high salary. Therefore, both the various kinds of noodles and dishes are top-notch, not only the color but also the color. , the aroma has reached the extreme and the cooking is to a standard that ordinary chefs cannot make. Every time I have a meal with my relatives and friends, I will come to this restaurant. Not only is the food quality the best, but the price is also very affordable. Friends who have eaten here are full of praise and praise. One of the best restaurants in the Los Angeles area welcomes old and new friends and is sure to make you happy and satisfied! ?“

“I recommend the quail eggs, which are delicious and tasty. The chicken feet are dried and cannot be chewed, and the sinewy part of the beef tendon cannot be chewed and has no flavor. I don’t recommend the cold rice noodle. It doesn’t have the chewy texture and the seasoning is not delicious.“
“This place is REAL good! Small space, but VERY wonderful staff, and extremely good food at a decent price, tucked away in a small corner that people easily pass by, if they don't bother stopping in. But hey, that's just their loss.“

“Orange Chicken Express is one of those restaurants that you have to give them their flowers while they are open because these types of restaurants are far and few between.
The best item here is the orange chicken. When it is freshly fried and smothered in that sauce. All the dishes are good. The chow mien is thicc. I usually get half and half fried rice and chow mien but im going to stick to just chow mien next time.
The eggplant is good. the kung pao chicken is also good. Of course the egg rolls and chicken wings.
I like their thai tea too.
Overall: Will return for their orange chicken and chow mein“

“It hit the spot! A friend suggested this place as their local favorite canto family style restaurant. Cleaner, less watery or greasy version of other lunch special/seafood canto restaurants in mpk. However, they have different to less items as other full seafood canto family style restaurants.
We'd come back if we crave their menu of items, or have interest in certain items not in other restaurants.
Chinese broccoli $16.50
Stir fry string bean $14.99
Deep fried pork chop with spicy salt $15.50
Sizzling hot pot chicken $16.50
Seafood crispy noodle (couldn't find it on the menu but they had it).“

“This old shop is very delicious and cheap. 50 pieces of leek, fish, and dumplings are only $20. 50 pieces of cabbage, pork, and meat are only $16. The haggis soup is only $18.99. The fish casserole is only $21.99. Everyone is welcome to try it. Pass the password. It’s delicious😋 face to face.“

“It's a cute family restaurant. Great tentative service. I recommend for 2 people or plus since the dishes tends to be a bit bigger for family to share .
Also, they do have a private room to have a good time with the family or friends privately“

“This is a place I've wanted to go to for years, but couldn't because their hours are so strange. They open from 11:30 am-2:30 pm....and that's it.
Dai Ho has the best beef noodle I've had in the Los Angeles area. The beef was extremely tender, and the broth was very flavorful. The dan dan mian was pretty good, a good blend of creaminess and spiciness.
Parking is difficult in this plaza, they only have a couple spots available. Otherwise, you would need to find street parking.“

“We ordered Taiwanese fried rice noodles, green onion and sesame flatbread, Hakka stir-fry, Shacha beef water spinach and dried lentils.
Hakka stir-fry, it is really fried with dried squid, which is something very few restaurants do. But why stir-fry satay sauce? At first I thought it was dried shredded pork until I tasted dried squid. The dried tofu is cut so well!
Taiwanese fried rice noodles, fried very well, there is no sauce at the bottom of the plate, amazing! ? The rice noodles are very elastic and delicious!
The dry lentils were just average.
I will eat it next time and will continue to order Taiwanese fried rice noodles, Hakka stir-fried rice noodles and other dishes.“

Dietary restrictions: Not for vegans or people trying to avoid pork. There is pork in the most random items.

“I dont know why there are so many not so good review on this place, but both times I have been here it has been pretty good, at least the food. The latest time I came was for a birthday, and we celebrated in a room that they had Karaoke. The room fit 3 big tables, and it was pretty spacious. The staff were quite nice, and I believe the food was really good as well.
What stood out to me was the Lobster, Truffle Chicken, and the Filet Mignon. I’m sorry that I dont have the official names, as the dishes were preset and brought to our table. You just gotta look at the picture, and if you think it looks good, then go for it.
This is a great place for anyone to celebrate any occasion, and the private room made it that much more exclusive. If you are planning an event, and want GOOD food, then look no further.“

“I recently had a gathering with my friends, and we decided to try out a new local Chinese restaurant. The biggest impression this place left on us was how incredibly budget-friendly it is!
What truly sets this restaurant apart is their $9.99 Special Deal, which is available all day long, from Monday through Sunday! The special pricing runs for the entire week. This spot is worth checking out!“
