“I had the best quiche EVER at the Waterlily. The staff are knowledgeable and kind, the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and it is in a very calm and serene area in Topanga Canyon. The next time I’m in the LA area, this will be a revisited spot!“

“As a New Yorker, my standards for breakfast & brunch are high. I’m so glad I came here! There’s a freshness about the atmosphere and the food selection is unique and tasty.
I got the curry with bokchoi and we had fried for the table.
They had matcha, which went perfectly with the creamy-with-a-kick meal. 🥰I wish I had 2 stomachs so I didn’t have to leave a bite uneaten, but I could only get through have of this lovely meal.
Absolutely will be revisiting when I’m back in the West Coast.🫶🏾“

“In A Nutshell:
-Yagul is a Oaxacan oasis.
-I found out about this place while exploring the neighborhood & noticed a lot of people popping in/out.
-Not only that the beautiful smell of Mexican food wafted into my nostrils, so I mentally bookmarked this spot.
-Not too long later, I came in for a nice breakfast.
-The Huevos Rancheros really hit the spot.
-The portion was not too big & everything tasted fresh, especially the beans & rice.
Overall, the service is very friendly & I liked the prices too.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“Oh my gosh, is this my favorite place to get coffee in SM? Yes! So cute, great coffee and smoothies, great avacado and egg salad toasts. Great dog watching and people watching too. Easy to park, but pay the meter, the meter people make a sweep in the morning. Lovely place to sit, lots of shaded places.“

“Great pricy place for breakfast, fancy coffee, pastries. Lines out the door but was doable at 9am this morning on Labor Day Monday. Pricy, food was pretty, but taste was so so. Carrot teff cupcake (small) was very cold and hard-but again pretty! $48“

“Fabulous hyper-farm-to-table food by a creative chef, on Main St in Santa Monica. I’ve tried the Gazpacho, the many Danish Rye toasts with what is fresh that day: eggs, salmon roe, avocado or ....? They also have baristas that make all type of drinks. My fab place to indulge healthy and fresh“

“Imagine an extremely clean place, where the food is excellent and the service is perfect?! It was incredible to find this place. The ladies treat everyone extremely well, it seems to be a family business that makes you feel at home.
I recommend it 100%. A million times better than those famous sandwich and salad shops. They deserve all the recognition❤️“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“This place was really amazing. The weight staff was all great. They helped me out with a small issue. I had with my diabetes by providing me with some orange juice because my blood sugar had gotten low. I truly appreciate him doing that for me. Thank you so much and I will come back again next time I’m in San Diego.“

“One of the most light-filled coffee shops in the Valley with the happiest team of baristas I have ever encountered. The range of seating arrangements makes this my favorite place to get work done when I want to take a break from working from home. My go-to drinks are the hot chocolate and the red velvet lattes! 100/10, highly recommend 😊“

“Absolutely delicious breakfast burrito with black beans, guac, bacon and added sausage and no cheese. Tortilla was tasty too. Very filling. Also came with salad and fruit. I'm a big eater, and only finished about 75 percent of the burrito. Very chill morning like atmosphere, sunlight pouring into the space with great employees, and service. My meal came out to about 19.50, totally worth it.“

“Fresh and tasty food! I got the mahi mahi Cali bowl. It was really good! The sauce was a bit spicy for me, I’ll just order without next time but other than that very good! I also got the watermelon/strawberry Agua Fresca. Very refreshing!“
“The building itself is a work of art. The outdoor landscape is also carefully designed. There are so many exhibits that you need to have enough time to explore. You can also start from the West Pavilion, where you can see more familiar works. This is an art museum worth visiting many times.“

“Authentically unique and super sweet! Let's talk matcha.... it's imported from Japan and not frozen, so it's super potent and not so bitter. The customer service is super on point and it's unique because there is a skin care boutique as you enter on the right and then towards the back and yoga studio. So very neat! This place is charming in so many ways we will be back“

“I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Primo Passo Coffee on our interview date. Family-owned Primo Passo Coffee is located in the cutest part of Santa Monica, where it’s just close enough to get your tan on at the beach or get your shop on at the Third Street Promenade. Fun sized coffee and teas, an assortment of pastries and sandwiches, and a relaxingly pleasant overall atmosphere are all you need to choose Primo over the Starbucks across the street. My little Carmelo was the daintiest and perfect post-hangover pick me up, and even just sitting in the shop uplifted my mood in an instant. And if you’re a fan of Instagram-ing your coffee sesh, their baristas will do latte art for every order! Right when you walk into Primo Passo Coffee, you will be greeted with friendly smiles, the aroma of fresh roasted coffee, and warm sun shining through large, perfectly placed windows. Seating options ranging from bistro style tables to barstools to plush benches along the wall, any sized party can come in and enjoy a quick (or long) caffeine pick-me-up. I especially noticed that a lot of people come here to read or write (even on a collaboration aspect), so maybe one day we’ll learn that the next great novelist or screenwriter came here to work on their passion project.“

“Beautiful atmosphere due to bright sunlight… great food and they even have travel books for browsing. What more could you ask for?!? I had the bread pudding and matcha latte after chicken gyro combo plate which was Turkish style and very delicious. Made a note to myself to go back… I wanted to buy one of their travel books, but those are not for sale. Though they do have a great selection of international grocery items such as teas, butter, frozen pre-made ingredients! So many great things to try.“

“The employee that was training the young girl surprised me when she said she wasn’t the business owner. The owners are extremely lucky to have such a dedicated employee who obviously loves that cafe as if it’s her own. Hopefully she is appreciated through satisfying paychecks. People like her are hard to come by. The number one reason an amazing employee ever leaves is due to being underpaid. I wish I hadgotten her name. I’ll definitely be back. She served me some coffee that cured a horrible migraine I was experiencing.“
“I stumbled upon this hidden gem on the 2nd floor of the 16133 yesterday. The lunch panini was a healthy fill me up and they had all the essentials with such an inviting atmosphere. The service was spectacular. Don't miss out and go up to what feels like lunch heaven!“

“The service was great, the food was good, as well as the view. The room, however, is nothing special; it is a multi-purpose room which happens to serve as a tea room for the occasion. There is unfortunately nothing in the design of the room which enhances the Garden Tea experience. To be truly successful, the Garden Tea needs its own space.“

“Cha Cha Matcha in Venice is a delightful spot with a lot to offer. The team here is fantastic—always friendly and attentive, making every visit a pleasant experience. The menu, while decent, provides a variety of matcha-based drinks and treats that are both refreshing and satisfying.
The atmosphere at Cha Cha Matcha is truly relaxing and enjoyable. Whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or planning to stay and unwind, the ambiance makes it easy to do so. It's a great place to sit back, relax, and enjoy some quality matcha. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience a serene matcha moment in Venice!“
