“Even with a Shortage of staff, they have fast service and Food is always fresh, all the times I have gone not once have I had fries that were old and nasty, Thank you to Ashley for a Funny and Great Time laughing and joking while we waited.

“Have always had a great experience at The Money Pit; except for today (10/28/24). My wife and I stopped for lunch and ordered 2 hamburgers, 1 fry, and 2 drinks. At the time of ordering your employee gave me a to-go carrier for the two drinks, and I told her that we were eating at the Money Pit. She gave me two cups for the drinks. I paid the bill of $20.04 with cash, and she gave me my change. She seemed very put out that I was not taking the drinks and food out. Anyway, when they brought the meal, there were 3 hamburgers, not 2. I said I ordered 2 and she basically told me I was lying and walked away. If you get a server about 30-35 years old, 5'4" tall, with glasses at the Money Pit expect to be treated in a rude matter. Never happened to me in the past (over 10 years of eating there), and I hope you don't have to deal with this employee.“

Super helpful and friendly, he went over my order slowly (I had a large order with special requests as well), he was so enthusiastic and made it his goal to ensure our order was correct. “This is super convenient. Simply order online, and they bring the order to your car. I don't believe they have any indoor or outdoor seating. Only to go. But for takeaway, it's perfect.

“This restaurant was a destination stop in my youth. They are not in my state, so I had to visit them again when I was out of town. This restaurant is clean, but I did notice several wet stains on their ceiling, which could be roof leaking. We ordered a 3 piece meal and a chicken taco. The sides were corn and beans. Everything in the meal was good tasting. My only complaint is chicken pieces are too small. The taco with visit sauce was also good. Prices are a little high for a fast food meal.“

“Gear up this place doesn't have an employee that takes your order. I'm guess that the new normal here in California. Of course I input my order incorrectly. Stuck like shopper at a Walmart self check out where's the help? One of the employees pulled off their position when they saw me struggling. “Where’s the BEEF!! You can barely see the thinnest layer of beef! I like this place and employees for the most part but this was a F failure, they must be short on beef ? If I had paid full price I would have complained to the manager and asked for another but since I got this on a Tuesday drop I’ll just post it here. Update ; later that night i went to another TB (Escondido blvd) and got the same crunch wrap supreme and it was the SAME!! A slither brush wipe of beef!!!
The thing is i live 1hr 40minutes round trip away from any fast food, so I may be a bit more sensitive to miss cues but 2 locations on the same day is just upsetting!!“

I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience had to be shared. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Burrito through the drive-thru, and WOW—absolute flavor explosion! The melted cheese on the outside of the burrito is pure genius. It’s like they wrapped it in a blanket of golden, cheesy perfection. One bite and my taste buds were completely blown away.

I was so impressed, I literally parked and went back inside to order a second one just to see how this masterpiece was made. Yes, it was that good. Melty, savory, perfectly grilled, and packed with flavor. Hats off to whoever came up with this recipe—this is next-level fast food.

“We came in and ordered a 5 person family meal on a Friday night and so they were out of one of the dishes we ordered. We had to wait a few minutes for the order to be ready, but the representatives were so polite and checked in with us periodically. When the order was complete they threw in an order of free spring rolls because we had to wait. It was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be back.“

“I'm writing this preview to acknowledge Jay for exceptional service hard work. She answers the phone. She takes the order. When you arrive she is the cashier. And then to my surprise she's also cooking the pizza. While waiting for the pizzas to be finished she is preparing the line with boxes and stickers and all at a very fast rate and all the time making sure that pizza come out correctly. If I was still in the position to do so today I would offer her a job without thinking twice. Regardless of experience I could tell in a few minutes that she could adapt to any situation and be an amazing employee. Thank you Jay.“

“They were way understaffed for a lunch rush on a sunday. Only three people on sift. The three people working did great under the pressure. Wish management would have given them atleast two more people so the line could have moved better, and so mistakes were made, but the staff even though short handed were very welcoming and fixed my order promptly.“
