“As a New Yorker, my standards for breakfast & brunch are high. I’m so glad I came here! There’s a freshness about the atmosphere and the food selection is unique and tasty.
I got the curry with bokchoi and we had fried for the table.
They had matcha, which went perfectly with the creamy-with-a-kick meal. 🥰I wish I had 2 stomachs so I didn’t have to leave a bite uneaten, but I could only get through have of this lovely meal.
Absolutely will be revisiting when I’m back in the West Coast.🫶🏾“

“Food was great but our server did not seem to care that we were there. The only time she came to our table was when we initially sat down and when we had to ask for our check. Unfortunate because I usually love Wabi and had friends in town. Their only comment that it was one of the worst serving experiences to date.“

“Felix Trattoria never disappoints in the culinary department! Dishes are as phenomenal as ever. BUT the acoustics are challenging. Don't come here for an intimate conversation as you'll be shouting over the noise! Plus prices are a bit over the top! Still, it's a buzzy, fun place to spend an evening with friends!“

“I’m new to this not true to this lol. I never had Mortadella and it being pork scared me. I still ordered the La Paradiso (Mortadella, Stracciatella, Pistachio Cream, & Pistachio crumbles) bc WTH right? And I enjoyed it. It’s not like OMG but it feels really nice and comforting to eat. I’m glad I left it alone and didn’t substitute for Turkey! I would definitely buy again. The pistachio cream is very light but flavorful along with nuttiness and I never had such combination with a savory bread.
I know I’m going to be thinking about it for days. It leaves a nice after taste lol! It is $20 but it’s a big sandwich. I think it’s worth the price. Quality ingredients!“

“We got a couple small plates to share and they were excellent. The shrimp had the perfect level of acidity and the chips were crisp and well-salted. We asked for more chips later and they brought them for free. The brownie came with a surprising amount of ice cream, which ended up being nice because the brownie is very rich. Beautiful views and the setup on the rooftop is very nice. The only negative was they didn't bring us plates and utensils until later.“

“Excellent service and Food. It was Dine LA so we ordered that menu and the food was coursed out. Absolutely superb! What a great way to sample the chef’s specialties. Our waiter was the best!!!! Looking forward to dining again.“
“Marlene was so lovely! A true hole in the wall and George puts care into the food! Their house made salsas & sauces are incredible, highly recommend the salsa verde and the green crema! (Can't go wrong with any tbh) Get the fish taco too!!! Can't wait to go back ❤️ ✨“

“Came here on a Saturday night with a group of 8 people. We were looking for a place with a semi-party vibe that also had a good cocktail menu and The Rose fit the bill to a T. Definitely on the pricier side, but for a special occasion it’s a great option in the area. Service was a little slow at times, so maybe not the best place on the weekend if you’re in a rush.“

“Best Falafel I’ve Had!
I recently visited this small, cozy restaurant with only two tables, and I was blown away by their falafel. The flavor was incredible—crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned on the inside. Despite the size of the place, the service was outstanding.“

“Some of the best BBQ I've had in LA. They used to have a "barbacoa plate" which was amazing but I don't see it on the menu anymore.
I recommend the "Clutch sample platter" for 2-3 people. Everything is super good. Highlights are the wings, ribs, and collard greens with bacon. Very good sweet BBQ sauces.
Only complaint is it took 20 min for the food to come out and it wasn't even busy.“

“Had a great meal! Forwent ordering potstickers in order to try the enticingly named Gang of 4 ×4 - a delicious decision! The Mao's Hometown was just-right spicy, and I'm sure they put more than $2 extra shrimp on my order. Service friendly and prompt, loved the art. I felt as though I had wandered back into college in the early '70s.“

“Delicious pizzas in the heart of Venice.
The crust is just perfect, and you have an almost unlimited amount of topping options (you can also create your own).
10/10 would recommend (went two days in a row because it was so good)“

“restaurant right on Abbot Kenny beautiful cozy interior food menu and drink menu is very large. They divided into veggies, raw pasta, pizza, and mains so there is a lot of food to choose from but the waiters were very helpful. We especially like the pizzas.“

“Venice Cucina in Venice Beach is amazing! Antonio went out of his way to make our engagement dinner extra special. The food was incredible—fresh, made-to-order pasta and perfect pizza. The cozy patio with string lights made it feel magical. Good guy, good food. Highly recommend!“

“Got the OG burger, and a banh mi the day before. The OG is a fantastic In-N-Out inspired burger. Really nailed it. Highly recommend. The Korean BBQ banh mi is one of the better banh mis I’ve had in a long time. Nice staff too, casual atmosphere. Def will be coming back.“

“Simply a warm place with delicious dishes. The furnishings are simple and functional but the loving and competent service makes this place special. You pay relatively little for the food by American standards, but that doesn't affect the quality. We even ate here twice.“

“This is another gem I take visitors to all the time, mostly for a late breakfast. I come here for 20+ years. I gotta be honest: If you are looking for the best ... whatever food .... in town, don't bother to go. This place is about atmosphere and having a good time. The food is good, and we had an amazing time with our waiter Shilly yesterday - and left well fed and with $100 for the four of us fairly priced - given the location I would have expected more. Wow - five stars for OK food? Absolutely. In my very own rating scheme, it is mandatory for five stars that I would be willing to do a 30+ min detour just to go to this particular place. And I did. Many times. And will do it again. We've been to the Ivy's in Beverly Hills the night before. It would be totally unfair to compare on a mere culinary basis. Go here - prepared to have a good time - and you will.“

“These are hands down the best tacos I’ve had in LA. And I’ve had a lot of tacos in the country. Plus for the price (2 bucks a taco), you can’t beat eating this stuff. Highly recommend for any locals of the areas. We got the chicken, pastor, and asada. All a recommend, and you can load up on your own toppings, def get the onions and jalapeño if you love spice.“

“Highly recommended! This place is great!“
“I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Flowerboy Project on our interview date. I had heard of the illustrious Flowerboy Project from not only friends in the Venice Beach area, but also from digital word-of-mouth as well as praise from the Los Angeles Coffee Guide. Since starting this endeavor, floral type coffees (i.e. rose, lavender, etc.) had become my jam, and I was genuinely intrigued with how the shop functions as both a florist and a coffeeshop, so why not follow through on my curiosity? Well, I definitely was not disappointed in my adventure and am already excited to make my way back! The nice thing about Flowerboy Project is that it’s located in a relatively quieter part of Venice. It’s close enough to the beach and the popular Abbot Kinney area without the heavy crowds, yet still gets enough foot traffic for locals to discover it and stay afloat as a business. It’s a smaller shop that can fill up quickly at the peek ‘I need coffee, stat!’ hours, but if you’re lucky enough to snag a seat inside you will never want to leave! The lush, garden/botanical-like atmosphere is highlighted with Insta-worthy gold and pastel accents to add a slight trendy feel with a playlist dedicated to classic surf rock reminiscent of its location. Now, all you need is one of their signature coffees and a yummy pastry and you’ll want to make Flowerboy your new favorite shop!“

“We had the Caeser salad and their famous burger. The burger is REALLY good. The patty’s meat quality is excellent and of a large size. The burger is tasty and juicy. They have a good selection of wines. We had a skin contact wine that paired really well with our meal.“
