“One of my favorite sushi spots in the area - I always come for happy hour where the deals are amazing, and the service has always been incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick. Google says it's cash-only but it's not! I know their management changed recently so hopefully maybe the problematic employees other people have been pointing out have been changed. I've always had a pleasant and lovely experience here in the past few months and it's definitely a go-to spot!“

“Happened upon this gem while at lacrosse tournament weekends. The dishes were all very delicious and authentic (as it can be). “I had a another great experience at Immigrant Son! Cortni was incredibly informative and engaging--she really listened to what I wanted and offered some great suggestions. I mentioned I was looking for something keto-friendly and protein-packed, and she recommended a side of chicken and a side of avocado. Simple, healthy, and surprisingly delicious! To top it off, I treated myself to their strawberry sourdough scone--absolutely amazing, especially paired with a good cup of coffee! Ronan, the manager, was exceptional as well. “Hands down BEST sushi in Ventura! We come here at least once a week. Highly recommend parking along the street, catching sunset on the beach, then coming here for dinner. Although everything I’ve ordered here has been excellent, my very favorites are the Avocado Bomb (the best I’ve ever had) and the Sushi House Roll. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly, and attentive.“

“Went in on a Saturday for lunch with 3 people. Was able to be seated at a high top table straight away. Great vibe, friendly and quick service. We ordered dirty martinis and when we asked for more olive brine they happily obliged. We ordered fresh and broiled oysters to share as well as mussels abs lobster roll. All were fantastic! Even the bread with whipped butter was delightful! Loved this spot.“

“Tacos are very good. The salsa bar has lost of goodies. The red bright salsa is spicy & tasty. I wanted to have caldo de res, but I found out they only have that on Fridays. Every day of the week, they have a different Mexican sopas. I will be back again to give it a try on the soups. This place is clean, and the people are very kind and helpful.
