“Under new management but the food quality still seems great. Expect a decent wait as they get slammed with catering orders around lunch time and it can take a bit to make your food. Parking is terrible in this lot but you can usually find a spot.“

“What an amazing experience at Meteora. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, the aesthetics of the decor, the service and the food. This was my second time here as I came shortly after they opened years ago and this time around was a delight. This immersive space is worth the reservation alone. It's so pretty and innovative. The ambience is so warm and welcoming. The manager is amazing as he was very attentive in meeting our request for specific seating. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about each entree. The wine pairing was perfect. I do have one critique regarding the meal. The Japanese Yam dish was served charred. I have a very refined palate and I could tell immediately that it wasn't charred but rather burnt. I could not eat the yam as it was quite bitter. Other than this hiccup, the meal was delicious. I truly enjoyed my second visit and will definitely return as well as recommend Meteora to friends and clients.“

“We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.“

“If you’re going to the Academy Museum for a visit or a screening make sure to stop at Fanny’s (located inside the museum’s first floor) for a coffee, snack or meal. They have a cafe and restaurant, both offering quality food and beverages and a full bar. The restaurant has comfortable seating options and the cafe offers outdoor seating. The service is friendly and attentive. You’ll definitely have a great time and a good meal!“

“My cousin and I came here on a Friday evening around 6:30 PM and were pleasantly surprised that we were seated right away with no reservation. The vibe was beautiful from the moment we walked in. The lighting was cute, there was a pool in the center of the space, and everyone was dressed up which added to the atmosphere without feeling too formal.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the start with lots of smiles and easy conversation. Our waiter was incredibly kind and genuine. The only issue was that he forgot to put in our order the first time so he had to come back and take it again. When the food came out he forgot a few things but he seemed a bit overwhelmed so maybe it was just a busy night.
The food came out very fast and it was absolutely amazing. Everything we tried was flavorful and beautifully presented. The menu had so many good options that it honestly took me a while to decide what to get because I wanted to try everything.
Overall it was a great experience. There were a few bumps in service but the overall vibe and quality of the food more than made up for it. I would definitely come back.“

“To start, we really do love the food but we always get take-out and of the 10+ times I’ve ordered EVERY SINGLE TIME ITS A NIGHTMARE TO PICK UP.
The pickup area is in the far corner of the restaurant and a sign in the front says wait to be helped. Somehow, it always takes at least 5 minutes to be acknowledged and then when I can finally get someone’s attention they either are very specific about the name on the order (ie, if I said Mike for Michael, they’d say they don’t see the order) OR they just say “it’s over there”. The one time I walked right over to pick it up they told me to please wait to be helped… please figure this out and I will be happy to give this otherwise delicious neighborhood gem 5 stars.“

“The menu are all small plates, delicious doesn’t matter what you order. The place was packed on a Monday night, a sign of good food and good service. The parking is $11 for dinner. In Los Angeles, this is very fair.“

“This is a great place to enjoy continental food. I was very surprised at how authentic the Indian food I ordered tasted. I ordered the butter chicken which came with naan, rice and chapatis. Butter chicken. It tasted like professional style and was very nice looking. It even surpassed some of the Indian restaurants I have tried before.“

“The location of the restaurant is smack center of downtown GSU, a young and vibrant, busy little area reminiscent of a ‘baby Manhattan’ but with nicer people and eco-friendly eateries. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with a black and yellow color scheme throughout the establishment, coordinated seating areas for dining in, and simple yet impactful decor with the background story of Mr. Fries Man framed along the walls. The atmosphere was welcoming and extremely professional and the fries themselves were everything! I had the shrimp and steak fries and they were fresh and hot, the steak cut into perfect bite size bits, the shrimp cooked perfectly, and the sauce a delicate balance between sweet and savory to tie it altogether *chefs kiss*. Overall perfect restaurant choice for anyone but especially college students and young professionals who want a satisfyingly delicious, quality meal without breaking the bank.“

“After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

“The asparagus fries. Crispy & not greasy. You can appreciate the asparagus flavor. We split the Thai spicy salad. It was spicy, but the Thai basil & the peanut dressing were the stars. It didn't need the chicken. The best was the ribeye melt. The meat was cooked perfectly. The sourdough was crusted with parmesan. With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.“

The orange juice was fresh-squeezed. Service was excellent.\n\nReservations aren’t accepted; the whole party has to be there to ve seated. There’s always a line.“

“Was visiting from Arizona was blown away by this place. I lived in the south for 30 years and this cooking reminded me of being back there. “This was our first time dining at Little Beast, and our meal and service were excellent.
We sat in the covered patio area and started with the beet salad with burrata on a bed of arugula that we shared. For a person who has disliked beets their entire life, I have been slowly working to try them more often. Surprisingly, I liked the salad a lot and would order it again.
For my main meal, I had the Porterhouse pork chop, which is the first time I ever had this cut, and it was quite good. It was tender and juicy. It was also a little undercooked close to the bone, but I suppose that is not unusual considering you wouldn't want it to be dry and tough from overcooking. They were very kind to substitute any gluten items I couldn't eat for another non-gluten item. Because of this, I was able to try the kimchi rice cake, and that thing is a craveable morsel. My husband had the grilled flat iron steak. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It came with chausser sauce, which is a rich dark sauce made with wine and mushrooms. It's so good I could drink it, lol.“

“I had lunch with a colleague and arrived on opening at noon. It was my colleague's first visit here and it was a sunny clear day that set the stage for a breathtaking rooftop view. “Deli shop that has a robust menu (sammiches, salads, pasta, and pizza) with a variety of flavors for your palate. They have canned and bottled specialty beer and wine that will surely fit your mood. The vibe is so chill, you feel right at home. They get busy during lunch and dinner hours so be prepared to wait a bit for your food, but you can kill time by browsing their drinks. Great place for lunch.“

“What a rad little restaurant! I had heard of the legend that follows their burger and the Zique cafe inspired shoestring potatoes so I wanted to come check it out for myself. I loved the ambiance by the river, just people walking with dogs and riding bikes and the river was really flowing that day. We had the roasted onion salad which was simple but delicious, I got the burger (I have a hard time not getting a burger when the next beef entree down the menu is twice the price or more) and the "matchstick potatoes." My partner got the wings and I tried one. We got a bread & butter and the butter was heavenly, but the bread (toasted baguette) was alright. I love Bub & Grandma's but I've never really been a huge fan of baguette, I'd rather have a spongy piece of sourdough. We ended with an apple cider donut which toed the line between sweet and savory. Everything was really good and I have an appreciation for any place that figures out cocktails with just a beer and wine license. I had the Daiquiri and it was great. Overall, I would definitely come back, and I'll try one of the bigger entrees if I'm feeling spendy ($60-$100+ if I remember correctly). If I had any feedback, it's just that I would add more vegetables to the menu. Service was really great and welcoming.“

“I ordered the teriyaki salmon bowl, with white rice, and veggies. CHEFS KISS!!! Great portions and delicious food! Wonderful and friendly customer service, the cashier has such great energy!! I will definitely be back!! Also, all the ginger and extra teriyaki sauce that I want, without receiving attitude for asking and without being charged, like every other place I’ve been to…that alone speaks volumes! THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE AND THANK YOU TO THE CHEF(S)!!!“
