“Have been here multiple times and it is by far my favorite food spot in the West Sacramento area. They offer delicious traditional Chinese dishes as well as a Mongolian BBQ set up. I often choose their orange chicken w/ steamed or fried rice luch/dinner combo. The serving sizes are very generous and the prices are very affordable! The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean and spacious. I have to add this too, their bathrooms are very clean! I really do love visiting this restaurant. Whenever I'm in the West Sacramento area, I try to make my way over to Hing's! Highly recommended!“

“I want to share my wonderful experience at Panda Express thanks to Teresa. I went through the drive-thru and unfortunately received a defective plate with my food. Teresa went above and beyond to immediately fix the situation with care and professionalism. She turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one. Teresa is truly a jewel—an amazing employee who shows what great customer service looks like. Panda Express is lucky to have her!“

“Fantastic dim sum and noodles. I got the classics, such as siu mai and xiao long bao, and a bowl of mapo tofu. The tofu was szechuan style, so it was full of that delicious numbing flavor. The food was served quickly and service was so friendly. I will definitely be back when im in the area.“

“This place is amazing! The food is fresh and so delicious, the broths were very flavorful. You pick from different tiers. Each tier has a variety of foods for your hotpot and appetizers to choose from. We rented out a karaoke room for my birthday and it enhanced our experience even more! Having a private room with friends and a hotpot table created an unforgettable time. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Drinks are also included with your meals along with a condiments bar and rice station. 10/10 recommend and I will for sure be revisiting. (Blurred video for privacy of friends)“

“Delicious noodle soups. Rice noodle is my favorite and it's pretty hard to find rice noodle soup locations. They are also inexpensive.
The cucumber salad was very underwhelming. Possibly a leftover menu item from the previous restaurant at this location.“

“Walking into ZhangLiang Malatang is like stepping into a hotpot Hunger Games. You grab a giant bowl, a pair of tongs, and immediately start convincing yourself you won’t overdo it… until you realize the bowl itself weighs as much as your guilty conscience. Everything is $15/lb, which sounds fine until you’re piling in noodles, tofu, and a casual half-pound of bok choy like it’s free samples at Costco. I had visions of a $30 monster bowl, but by some miracle (and sheer tong restraint), I walked away with a $21 creation. Under budget, baby. 💅
The proteins looked a little questionable like they’ve seen better days but hey, they didn’t make me sick, so that’s what I call a culinary win. I went with the dry pot (aka stir-fried hotpot without broth), because nothing says “Sacramento in summer” like avoiding boiling soup in 100-degree heat. Flavor was punchy, numbing, and just the right amount of spicy. It came with rice, which was cute but completely unnecessary since I also threw ramen in my bowl. Carb-on-carb crime, and I regret nothing.
There’s also a sauce bar, but honestly... didn’t need it. My dry pot was already sauced up like it was headed to a drag brunch. My friends went for the tom yum broth, which was promising but ended up with more lemongrass tonkatsu, flavorful and rich, but lacking complexity and that “Thai-level spicy.” Definitely Chinese spicy, which is basically a tickle if you’re used to Southeast Asian fire levels.
Service is minimal, because you’re basically your own chef here — grab, weigh, pay, sit. They bring it out, and then it’s just you, your bowl, and the consequences of your own decisions.
Verdict: A fun, chaotic hotpot adventure that tests both your spice tolerance and your ability to eyeball a pound of bean curd. Would I come back? Yes. Would I accidentally overspend next time? Also yes.“

“Best place ever. The owners are amazing. My 2 year old son was having a tantrum and crying outside the store and the sweet lady came out with a little rice treat and gave it to him and he calmed down and said thank you. Please please please support this little treasured business.“

“I wanted to try Lollibowl again for many years. The last time I had dinner there was when they first opened. Many of my friends have told me that their dishes are very delicious and the portions are very generous. I decided to order lunch to go today. Yes! Their food is yummy and they filled the to-go boxes to the top. The prices are also reasonable. I'm happy I have one more restaurant added to my list in Sacramento.
I'm looking forward to returning. Lol!“

“Honestly a hidden gem that we discovered a week ago. Been back already with a bigger group and it was just as good. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in sac at this point. Their duck has amazing flavor and crispy skin, the house noodles tastes fresh with a great texture and the salt baked chicken is great too with the ginger scallion sauce. They have a few really good off menu dishes too that we all enjoyed. The staff is incredibly sweet and attentive and the place is clean and comfortable. We will be back soon with more family and friends.“

“I highly recommend the sesame chicken, fried prawns, egg rolls, chicken fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, sweet & sour chicken, and the cream cheese ragoons. We always order some variation of these items & its always delicious! Very consistent restaurant, we eat here maybe once a week, my kids & hubby love it!! Customer service is always great as well. We were skeptical after the changed owners last year; we've been coming here 12 years or so. But I gotta tell ya, the menu stayed the same, but the food is BETTER than it was under previous owners. & I love that they finally gutted the place & remodeled the inside. We've eaten inside recently for the 1st time in about 5 years. Would definitely recommend to anyone that loves Chinese food!“

“Love this place. Been going since early 90s. Moved to North Carolina back in 2001 and yes I shipped C for four to north carolina. Worth every penny. Coming back to Sac this week for vacation. Always a place I go when visiting. In the south everybody talks about soul food. It's good and all but this is truly my soul food.“

“I was thinking the serving and the number of dumplings were not a lot considering it was only $11 but I was wrong! There were actualIy 10 dumplings on it. I was not able to finish it so I had to take it home. It could be good for two persons as long as you’re not that hungry.“

“I placed an order for pickup from the restaurant on my birthday because I love Chinese food. The food was good. Really enjoyed the rice and broccoli beef and the orange chicken. The one thing that stood out though was how polite the ladies were when I went in to pick up the food, and they were really nice and gave me some sesame balls to try for free. Small gestures like that go a long way for me and I really appreciate the kindness. Just came here to share that they have made a repeat customer out of me just based on how they treated me yesterday. Really great people. The food's good. I will absolutely be back!“

“Absolutely wonderful. This was our second time here. First time we got the beef clay pot rice and really loved the beef but thought the rice was a bit oily (though I know clay pot rice itself does need a lot of oil). This time we passed here on our way back from snowboarding at Tahoe. I got the beef rice noodles and my gosh, the brisket is chewy and the tendon just melts in the mouth, the flavor is just unbeatable in the US. The rice noodles are so light, healthy, and soothing for my stomach for dinner. We also got the pork steamed rice roll and beef congee, both of which are as authentic as possible. 没法形容,只能说对于留子来说吃完真的回国了❤️ I really hope the owner will open a store in the Bay Area!!!
P.s.: the only complaint is that both times, the service is a bit slow, maybe because we don’t speak Cantonese but mandarin, but the food is well worth the wait.“

“This place is legit Taishanese / Cantonese food.
Got the mushroom steak, hand pulled chicken, the garlic clam, and the yellow eel clay pot rice.
The seafood is fresh, the meat is of food quality and well seasoned, the clay pot eel rice is good. I'm not much for chicken, but the chicken person liked it.“

“My favorite go/to to satisfy my Dimsum craving. Clean. Fast service. Filling small dimsum plates. Only thing is tea is $2 per person but only one tea pot. Comp tea could have been better. Management should consider offering tea for free. This would be a good service to customers.“

“We have been eating at SG for maybe 40 years. We like Orange Chicken and Lemon Chicken, the Won Ton soup is great and they have eggplant that's the draw for us. The prices are great and the service is great. The atmosphere is better than many more expensive restaurants.“

“Food was amazing! The portions are bigger than they appear in the pictures, which is rare to get more food than you would assume. It has been a very long time since I received customer service that great! The lady there went above and beyond and was soo nice! Only down side is parking in the area is not ideal, but that has nothing to do with the restaurant itself.
Please try this place you will love it!“

“I think they have the best chow mein in town. And they make really good hamburgers (and perfect fries) for less than any of our local chain store/fast food places.Their broccoli beef is super yummy too. So to their fried rice. I haven't tried much else from their extensive menu but I suppose I should because I like all their food that I have tried. I am also very sensitive to MSG and have never ever gotten a headache after eating their food; and I react quickly and painfully to even a trace of that stuff in my food.
This is a take-out location. There is no seating for eating there, but they are fast with any order. Call your order in and it'll be ready when you get there.“

“I come here regularly with my family (both Togo and dine in). Their food is delicious and authentic… even my picky Chinese father loved the food here. I’d recommend this place 100%.
They like certain things to be as fresh as possible for togos so they may not finish some of your Togo items until you get there… to avoid veggies and saucy things from getting soggy. So you might have to wait a bit for your pick up. But trust me, it’s much better this way… in terms of the quality of the food; don’t expect it to be like a quick in and out and you’ll be fine.
Here are our go tos: won ton soup (with or without noodles), chicken chow mein no veggies (kids), Peking pork chops, fish filet with string beans, seczhuan shrimp, baked sea bass (30 min prep), and maybe a salt and pepper dish.“

Price is reasonable to me that they currently have discount for students and those who shared the their promotion flyer on social media. Must try: lamb / pork belly with mushrooms/ oyster/ pancakes/ rice noodles and dumplings 🥟. Will come back soon:) good luck on your new business 🤗“

“We were traveling to Lake Tahoe. We passed through Sacramento and ate Asian food called Yum Cha Cafe (on the right side of the Shunfa SF Supermarket on 65th Street. We ate their roast duck, barbecued pork buns, shrimp balls, and barbecue. , fried noodles, siomai, their roast duck is so famous and really delicious. Very good seasoning, very fresh, plump and elastic meat. This is the most valuable roast duck in this area. I only had it in Hong Kong last time. I'm so happy today. I tasted such a good taste again. My family and I are very happy. I recommend it to everyone. You must try it. It's incredible.“

“Why do the serve spaghetti at a Chinese restaurant? It taste good though. Smothered in cheese. I think the sauce is sweet and sour sauce. Happy hour drinks take forever to prepare and service needs work. Minus one star. Try the giant pork leg too.“

“Extremely surprised how clean, comfortable, new this place is for a spot in Sacramento. Definitely a vibe here, Cantonese influenced, food is delicious and tasty as would expect from a Cantonese establishment. They play Cantonese and mandarin songs which also makes it feel like you’re in Hong Kong eating/ dining. This plus they got karaoke rooms, pretty awesome concept! ??“

“Sonora location. Tried when first opened and few weeks ago. It was clean (new) and great service. Re-visited yesterday and totally the opposite! Counter was dirty, all food was low. It was 4 o’clock and not busy. The cook, other gentleman and waitress was very unprofessional and unsanitary! The cook, yes while wearing gloves, continued to touch dirty services and our food. At one point he had his cell phone in his hand looking at it while cooking our food. Phone back in dirty pocket, touching his hair then back to cooking our food! The conversation between the three of them were load and unprofessional. I was so ready to leave! Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.“

“The Egg Foo Young was amazing!! Big, fluffy, flavorful egg patties with bean sprouts and green onion, perfectly cooked. The accompanying sauce was delicious with carrot, zucchini, broccoli, onion, mushroom, bok choy, and celery. Also loved the Katsu chicken. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. Generous portions, reasonably priced. Also must give a shout out to the wait staff. Pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. Recommend.“

“Beback rating- yeah
I used to work around this area a few years ago. On one occasion I decided to try their food. I was not disappointed with their shrimp fried rice the most and have visited them a few more times.
Today I was I. The area for another reason. Their sign said open from 10am till 9pm. Well, the owner pops in a little past 11am. Not good normally, but I do remember two older people running the place. So, a little grace was needed. Plus, knowing my past experiences with their food., I didn’t get irritated. Yes, this is truly a mom and pop kinda place!
I’m glad I was patient as the fried rice was savory as usual, one of the best around town. This is one of those places where you get rewarded for not judging a book by its cover.“

Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian menu
Parking: Although the parking lot is busy, many spaces are available within a short walk.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair friendly“
“I love this place! They provide high quality meals, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that spot is a professional, I love a lot tasting all their food. “Excellent quality and flavor. We ordered Siu mai, steamed pork and soup dumplings, but the real stars were the shrimp and pea shoot dumplings. I was definitely surprised about this location at a ghost kitchen and food pick up spot located in the north downtown area. Be aware that this is a automated/screen order venue that only accepts mobile payments and no cash.“
“Horrible service but great chinese food that doesn't make you sick after. Bathroom and dining area can be cleaner. Kitchen is clean and the food is not sloppy. The food is the best around 100%. I've been going here for years and eat here maybe once a week. I love the orange chicken, the ginger beef w/rice, pork chops, chicken noodle soup(no bone) with extra ginger/lemon sauce... don't forget to ask for the ginger sauce. The menus had everything really from seafood or cream cheese wanton to fried fish or chow main. I'd give the restaurant a 5 stars for the food alone but the waiters are horrible so 4 stars. No English and very rude . But the food!!!!“

“Delicious solid food in a humble little place. Yes, a tasty cheap meal does exist. If you’re down for a no nonsense sort of place that thrives as a takeout place and doubles as a restaurant this is it. I ate here twice this week while staying at a nearby hotel. Friendly service. Generous portions. Great prices. Leftovers for sure. What else do you need?“
