“Friday 3/28/25 Dinner at Fire Tiger Thai Food in Whittier with my friends Erwin and Victoria. Enjoying a wonderful dinner together after a hard day’s work. We ordered Shrimp pad Thai, fire tiger wings, seven sea soup, crying tiger, and mango sticky rice. The foods were so delicious and savory and a good size portion. Not salty, not too spicy, just right to taste with all the herbs and spices.

Nikki, service staff, was super nice and work diligently to serve all the customers.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated with flowers and was cleaned.

I recommend trying this restaurant.

“Great ramen, spinach noodle options!“

“The green beans and kung pao chicken were the favorites. The xiao long bao dough was a little thick for our liking and didn’t hold together well so we didn’t get much of the broth sadly. Great rice noodles as well! Would come back just for the green beans, kung pao chicken, and rice noodles. Quick service and very reasonably priced for the amount we got!“

“I had a bowl of pho at Pho 99 and it was amazing! The broth was rich and flavorful, the beef was tender, and the noodles were just right. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and cozy. Highly recommend for pho lovers!“

“Happy Morning is a hidden gem for classic Cantonese breakfast lovers. I had the beef rice noodle rolls and salted pork congee, and both were absolutely delicious—the rice rolls were soft and chewy, with tender beef and just the right amount of sauce, while the congee was smooth, savory, and deeply satisfying. The portion sizes are generous, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The vibe is cozy and clean, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. “The price of the meal is reasonable, and each noodle dish tastes authentic. The sesame sauce of the miscellaneous sauce noodles is thick. I especially recommend the beef burrito, which has a lot of beef and is fragrant. The fried pork buns are very suitable for takeout.“

“Had a great experience at MIAN and am already thinking about coming back and eating here again. The Szechuan style of food they sell here is what makes it stand out as it is not very common in other Chinese food places in the area.

I had the Chengdu noodles that come with ground pork and bok choy and a side of popcorn chicken. The noodles were great. I have no complaints. When mixed in with the sauce, they can get quite spicy, and this is coming from someone who ordered the medium level (there are three spice levels in total), but it is still an enjoyable spice that mixes well with the food. Additionally, the popcorn chicken was also really good, the pieces were nice and big and the chicken was crispy.

I had ordered some mustard sauce on the side with my chicken. When the waiter brought the chicken over, he did not bring the sauce. So I flagged him down and asked him to bring it over, but he did not understand what I was asking for. It seemed like English was not really his first language. He ended up calling his coworker on the phone and had me explain to her what it is I wanted which she then was able to translate to him. After this, he brought over the sauce lol. I just wanted to say that I thought it was funny the way he was so determined to figure out what it is I wanted but I also really appreciate his dedication. I didn’t get his name but I send him my thanks.

What I liked about the ordering process here is that you just sit down and scan a QR code. You can order pretty much immediately and the food didn’t take long to come out. It was a Wednesday afternoon though so that might be why; the restaurant was not very full.“

“This is a newly opened restaurant, so the environment inside the store is very clean and the furniture looks new. There are not too many choices on the menu. The Hainanese Chicken Rice is very tasty, but the chicken is slightly less umami. The Bamboo Shoots and Chicken Soup Noodles have a sweet soup base, which is worth a try.“

“The store does not use an online platform, so please do not order food on the online platform. This time, after ordering on qmenu, I went to the site and said that they did not cooperate with the platform. Fortunately, I did not pay. I ordered the Beef Knife Fried Noodles ($13.99), which can be swiped with a credit card if you spend $20 or more. There is a lot of beef and it is very tasty. The vegetables include cabbage, onions and tomatoes. Although it is a little oily, it is still quite delicious overall.“

“I ordered their beancurd beef tripe and tomato crab paste rice noodles today. I have gotten dinner several times before and had tried their shrimp roll, hainan chicken rice. All of the dishes I tried are good. It’s pretty quiet usually when I visit this place. The most people I’ve seen are probably 3-4 tables of customers. Service is good every time and servers are very attentive and friendly.

Its more like a 4 for this place because its a place I would often come because of their food and service. I decided to give this place a 5 star instead because I want to support small businesses like these and because this place is more hidden / low key so unless you are in the area for a quick lunch, theres a less chance people would find this place.“

“A good place for rice noodles, and I really loved their broth! My go to is their sliced beef rice noodles, portions were good too. The restaurant is also very clean. Not to mention, when you order takeout, they pack everything so nicely! Service was fast too!

Note: there is a small parking lot right next to the restaurant although all seem to be compact sized, street parking is plenty too if you have a larger car. And, they also do happy hour from 2-6pm for snacks and drinks.“

“Solid, Taiwanese and Chinese vegetarian and vegan classics. And a wonderful and clean atmosphere too! Love the lunch specials, the service, and the variety. The only downside is that the menu is huge! Too hard to make a decision, but the staff helped share some of their own favorites. They recommended the Taiwanese classics: popcorn basil chicken, lettuce wraps, soup noodles. And I really loved the chicken with orange peel.“

“I enjoyed this place a lot. It was a little bit hard to find at first, as it is located above the supermarket. The server was very friendly, helping me to find a good vegetarian option. The cold sesame noodles were tasty and refreshing, and the price is not bad ($8.99). The dining area is spacious and comfortable.“

“Was trying to find a place for lunch on a random weekday. This place is excellent. Give the small hole in the wall vibe but inside is pretty spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and the food is excellent.

I will say parking can be difficult but that shouldn’t surprise anyone in the area. Small underground lot if you can’t find anything upstairs

Had the braised beef plate. Big portions, tasty and well braised beef. Veggies on the side were on the saltier side for my liking, but overall I’d get it again.

Got the beef noodle soup as well. I thought the broth could be a littler more “rich”, on the lighter side than I usually like it.

Not pictured but also tried the pork spare rib noodle soup. The spare ribs were tasty and fell off the bone.

I liked the broth in their ramen — super flavorful and comforting. The California roll was fresh and hit the spot. I also tried the cream wonton; it was just okay, but came out really hot, straight from the kitchen.

The place was busy, but service was fast and smooth. Everyone was friendly, and the food didn’t take long to come out.

“Tried Thai 7 Bistro for the first time and loved it!! My wife and I ordered take out and enjoyed each dish. The Chicken Pad Thai was right there with my favorite pad Thai dishes I’ve had. The flavor was on point with juicy chicken, peanuts, and lime. We also ordered the yellow curry with tofu. Their yellow curry had a great depth of flavor with the creaminess of the coconut milk and a nice mild curry flavor. To top it off I got the Thai iced tea, always a great drink! “The fat waiter had a very nice attitude and was very smart. I personally felt it was more hygienic, but it was not halal. I put the invisible braces on the table while I was eating. I called him since he was off duty. Then the shop owner patiently called me to guide me in which trash can to look for. Finally, I found it. Thank you very much.“

“Came here on the weekend with a party of 6 since we were closeby in Pasadena and it was a short drive down to Alhambra. Went to a Chicken place the night before so everyone agreed on Japanese food. Was seated quickly and decided on the popular cream curry udon that was featured in social media.

Food came out quickly, though I was kind of dissapointed with the dish. It was rather bland. Everyone however enjoyed their dish so maybe I should have ordered something different, like their gyukatsu since thats what their name implies🤔 Service was good, maybe if in the area again Ill give this place another chance. 4 stars🤙“

We ordered the combo for 4, came with 2 plates of already deboned chicken, 4 bowls of rice and soup stock, 1 plate of stirred fry Shanghai choi and 1 playe of smashed cucumber pickle and small tub of pried peanuts. The chicken was mediocre , the soup stock tastes like warm water which is really puzzling with all the chicken that they served. The 2 dipping sauce were not enough for the entire chciken plates. They charge extra if i you ask for more. Order through the QR code. Doesn’t work when we were there.“
