“I remember the Pioneer Saloon from when I lived in the Bay Area and worked in Silicon Valley. I came there with friends over a few decades and enjoyed the live music. And, way back in 1975, my brother, Tom Martin, was a first live music performer at the Pioneer Saloon. Tom is still a singer songwriter performer.“

“Everything we got here was absolutely delicious and authentically crafted. My party of 4 got a feast of food. One I recommend is the Pad Mango as it is something I have never seen on a menu elsewhere. The Massaman curry was probably my second favorite and the Samosas too!To me everything seemed to have a medium spice to it, so be cautious and ask if you can't handle spice. Good lighting for a nice dinner and great service. We live across the bay but will definitely be coming back!“

“We were here a few weeks ago for dinner on a cold rainy night and this place did not disappoint with a warm inviting atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff!! The menu is amazing and the food was delicious! My sister had the fish and chips she thought it was delicious and fresh as can be! I had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and it was amazing, my Aunt had the chicken sandwich as well with side salad and she said the salad was very fresh and delicious as well as her sandwich. Definitely plan on coming back soon!“

“Reservation required even if you are just one person! With that being said, loved this hidden gem! I like that they have their classic cocktail menu and on the back they have their own version of that cocktail. Everyone was really nice. Plus free popcorn!“

“Everything was ok. Not the most authentic German food (schnitzel wasn’t, spaetzle was ok); chicken sandwich was a bit messy. We came in a large group. The QR codes make ordering easy from your phone, but there’s no concept of service since they just bring what you click, and asking for tip upfront is also a bit weird. Nice open space with communal tables, so it’s good for big groups“

“We met friends at this restaurant after doing a Yelp review and I'm so glad we did. One of the first things I noticed was the high-quality of the menu: Mary's chicken, Scottish salmon, and other brands we love. The kitchen didn't disappoint. It was delicious and our guests were really pleased. The service was outstanding. and as we hoped, they had heaters and it was comfortable to eat outside in December. We will definitely be going back.“

“This post is overdue but felt it was necessary! After a day of celebrating a birthday with some friends, we all decided we wanted to go someplace close to our house to watch some sports and get some food/drinks. We stumbled across Hidden Tap & Barrel and ended up having an amazing time. We were one of the only people there, and our bartender/server, Monica went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. My girlfriend doesn't drink, so Monica took it upon herself to experiment with mocktail recipes, all which were delicious. Her energy and vibe kept our party going and we just loved her. We ordered a couple of pizzas from the connected Curry Pizza House, which was delicious. The bar itself is extremely clean and modern, with lots of TVs. We will definitely be back and hopefully have Monica as our bartender again!“

“This bar is perfect! Moved into the area looking for a local dive and this is the best spot. Robert (the owner) has fostered an environment filled with amazing people, from staff to customers. Non-pretentious karaoke bar where folks support each other regardless of skill, and are just there for a good time. You can bring in outside food if you're looking for a bite to eat. Couldn't recommend this place enough.“

“I stopped by for one of their weekend BBQ events. The food is fantastic, the setting in the huge redwoods is amazing and the building makes you feel like it's a hundred years ago. “Pretty cool place to enjoy a local band have a beer and some food. Love the revised patio and beer options. Don't like the crowding at the doorway or the drunken middle aged women who are quite unpleasant. Especially the ones seated at a doorway blocking entry outside being a fire hazard.“

“Can't beat Kendo's karaoke list here on Wednesdays and when I say list well pretty much any song you can think of just put it in and mark my words he's got it. The crowd is great too. They had free popcorn last time I was there . The crowd again super great. They have an indoors and then an indoors that looks like your outdoor too. It's like this big patio area but you're kinda still inside. They have great parking too. I choose to park down the street but just saying they have a parking lot .“

It was a total blast, and the staff went out of their way to address my vision for the event without any hesitation. This is a great space for any up and coming musical artist that is looking for an intimate venue with flexible options for stage/furniture layout, sound equipment, lighting and more. I didn’t have to bring any of my supplemental audio equipment to the gig as a lot of it was provided by the venue - that was super convenient!My audience had a fantastic time and I will definitely be playing more DJ gigs here!“

“Good for happy hour, cozy and not crowded on a weekday for co-worker meetup. Menu isn't huge though, and salad wasn't very exciting, small, but my friends who got burgers and other less health-conscious items were happy. I appreciate the ease of parking, small shopping area right across from Safeway, and easy access off of the 92/280 junction. Good adult hangout, not for kids, dark inside.“

“A group of us go for trivia on Wednesdays and we love the vibe! The trivia is a great mix of difficult and doable questions which makes it fun. The staff is friendly, the owner came up and introduced himself the first time we went in and now stops by to our table to say hi. They have a little kitchen that they rent out (I think) and the food that they serve is yummy! not sure if they've changed the menu since I was last in, but they didn't have chicken as a meat for the tacos which was a bummer since I don't eat red meat/pork.“

“Wow!! Super delicious!! Went with a group of 6 friends and everyone loved the the food!! Lots of fantastic vegetarian options. I ordered the Mjadra and we shared the Fattoush salad, tabouleh, and pickles. My friends also got the veggie combo and falafel wrap.I had a different salad which came with my mjadra and both that salad and the Fattoush salad had crazy yummy dressing. I loved them so much I asked if they sold the dressing separately to go and she said they didn't but she gave me a generous portion of each to take home with me...no charge!!“

“It's a good old fashioned pub. Nothing fancy, just a nice comfortable place to have a drink and make a friend. There is a large outside area where you can smoke and have a drink, which is hard to find. It's my go to place after a hard days work. The service is the best !!“

“Great place. Very low key which is what I like as opposed to loud with obnoxious drunks. He keeps those guys (and occasional girls) out. Bartender/owner Justin is a great guy. I see other reviews saying he only pays attention to friends. Simply not true. There's a saying, close mouths don't get fed and this is no exception. If you ask or wave him down, you will get served. He's not just gonna stare at you till you finish your drink like people want. He will walk up and down the bar to make sure you're good or if you need anything then go and resume conversation with customers whether it be friends, regulars or newbies like I was. Has been my go to place for a month and a half now and am saddened that I was in the area temporarily and won't be in as often. Do yourself a favor and hit this bar up. Quieter than most bars but great selection and plenty of food in the area!! Some of the regulars are great too. Not territorial like other regulars in other bars. Made me feel welcome as hell there. “We wandered in to Milagros for lunch and were soon greeted and taken to the cute patio area. We ordered chips and salsa, and got three delicious salsas and a bucket of fantastic tortilla chips. “This spot is my favorite Cuban restaurant in South Bay! I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. The ambience transports you when you walk in! It's a great lively restaurant for date nights, anniversaries, or even a post work dinner with coworkers. Whether you're sitter by the bar or their more intimate dining room, the vibes are immaculate and the servers take good care of you! We sat by the bar and went an hour after they opened on a Wednesday night- they weren't too busy quite yet, but soon picked up. They brought us house bread and we ordered the croquetas and shrimp ceviche to start. The ceviche is good balance of tanginess and spicy. It's served on bread soaked up with the sauce, but somehow not soggy, which they nail every time! The shrimp was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. The pollo croquetas were a special that night and absolutes melted in your mouth. The aoli was an excellent addition to this dish. All the flavors come through even without the sauce. For our main course we ordered arroz con pollo served with my favorite, plantains! The chicken was tender and melted in your mouth. It was well seasoned and as always the flavors were dancing on my tongue haha. We got the plantain crusted goat cheese salad with delicious sherry vinaigrette! It was light and fresh and a great way to end our meal. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to explore authentic Cuban food :)“

“Without a doubt the best Bloody Mary we've ever had. Took my girlfriend to brunch near here a few months ago on a Sunday and we decided to pop in. The crowd was filled with laid back boozers watching football. I forgot the bartenders name but he was a big dude with a beard. He was great. I don't know how he makes his bloody Mary's but they were great! I think my girlfriend thought he was cute too but I thought he was like a 4, but his Bloody Mary's were a 10! We definitely be back here again.“

“Definitely a very casual laid back dive bar! It seems like a lot of locals visit here and the crowd isn't super rowdy, something I'm all for! They don't have food that I know of but so have light snacks in a vending machine. depending on the bartender you can ask for cocktails but beer and easy drinks are a no brainer. It felt super affordable, and big plus that it was so clean. The bar itself is large and very spacious, I'd gladly come back!“

“Went to the Super Bowl watch party where they offered free pizza slices, popcorn and draft beer discount. You can park in the underground parking garage. The bar and bar lounge area is pretty cool. The staff were all very nice and the food and wine that we had was delicious! We had chips and guacamole. You get a lot of guacamole.We tried their fish & chips which came with coleslaw.The fish was crispy, crunchy and not oily, the chips were tasty and the coleslaw really good. The Prisoner Cabernet was very good.“

“Local dive bar that... were you go to see your friends and be greeted with a smile. Bartenders are friendly and drinks are reasonably priced. Pinball, pool or just take a seat at the bar. Chris and George are the best. Check it out. I give them 5 stars.“
