“This historic original Coors tap house is one of the greatest bars and restaurants in Denver, tucked away in the very hip Highlands neighborhood. The amazing bartenders and staff offer great service that perfectly complements the delicious and tasty food. “When I have friends stopping through town on the way to the slopes or even a convention, I usually take them to Avanti. They’re gonna see the mountains, usually have a day or two planned to explore them. I think it’s nice to showcase our city skyline and the view of downtown from the spacious upstairs bar and patio. The city lights just glistening at night from that vantage point… The food court features local eateries and usually covers every flavor for a lunch or dinner palette. The vine list is refreshing... parking does stink on weekends because the area is so popular. It's got a lot of screens to watch games or open seating to catch up with friends.“

“Wow. I have wanted to visit here since my arrival in Denver and finally had the opportunity last night. The cast was surreal, the energy on stage was electric and contagious. We didn’t have to search for laughs or generate excitement for applause it came naturally and often. The entire affair was incredible and lasted far too short. Before we knew it the show had ended and curtains drawn, but left us wanting more.

Were the drinks great? Yes, but we didn’t pay attention. Food? People go here for food? Anyway, this was such an engaging time with such an amazing cast. The only tragedy here are the people that got this to a 4.5 instead of all 5 stars.

One other thing that may seem minor but when you go, be sure to appreciate the ground floor of the Clocktower as you enter. The marble splashed walls and vintage chandeliers that have been there for well over a century, looming over so many visitors is a part of history that you get to participate in. Almost observing (judgement free of course) as you descend to the basement of this magical venue. The attention to decor at TCC follows that reverence in so many subtle nods that adds to the experience and shouldn’t be overlooked.“

There were some guys acting creepy and not leaving girls alone and they acted swiftly and even remade my friends drink when she was concerned about it potentially being tamped with by those guys. They also made sure we were aware that they would never tolerate that kind of behavior and want to make sure women always feel comfortable there.“

“This place is amazing!! I have been to several different line dancing bars and this place is definitely one of the best. The line dancing was fantastic, the bartenders were super friendly, and the dance floor had a mix of experienced line dancers as well as beginners, and it had a welcoming, chill vibe for everyone. Our experience was 100% on their patio which is a leftover COVID make-shift tent with zero ambiance however well protected from the weather elements in the unlikely event there’s a bad weather in a place with 300+ days of sunshine. Burgers and sandwiches are tops with your own table try of condiments provided. Drink selection is extensive and mixed well along with a wide variety of good beer choices. Service was great though we were pushed to leave far too quickly without even a mention of dessert even though they were well aware that was our visit purpose nor a apology they had no dessert or cup of coffee. Atmosphere inside historic and warm, outside no more than a camping tent. Food - Excellent sandwiches and burgers. Service- Good though pushed to leave very quickly. Price - Average.“

“Chris the bartender with beard and glasses literally is probably one of the best hospitality workers I’ve ever encountered in my life. I’ve been in restaurants my whole life and it’s rare to run into someone who genuinely cares about the guests as much as he does. He went above and beyond to make us have a wonderful experience. Made my marg literally how I asked it to a t, and when I ordered another shot to throw in it, he asked if I wanted him to reshake it and recreate the drink with the additional shot. We just moved around the corner, and knowing this place is here, particularly HE is here and we will get amazing service from hi, We will be here all the time. Dude is amazing, deals are amazing. And we just fell in love with this place“

“Ordered a straight pour of Glenfarclas scotch and an old fashioned with Hayden basil bourbon - our total was $18 for both! Plus, folks that are visibly femme or “ladies” get a rose and everyone gets a mini Alabama slammer shot once you sit down. Bartenders will tend to you at your table, though when they’re busy it can be a bit slower. No playing cards on the weekends, but it’s fine to do so on weekdays. Staff was super kind when telling us this after we had pulled out our cards. Oh and the staff? Super nice, patient but very efficient, and kind to those who are dropping into PS for the first time. Def make this a stop if you’re hanging on colfax.

P.s. PS lounge is cash only! There’s an atm inside PS. If you’d appreciate a walk, there’s also an atm a few blocks down inside of the LOVA canna co dispo (3.50 charge at LOVA).

Wheelchair accessibility: bathrooms are not accessible for a wheelchair user (they are small AND up a single flight of steps). However, with the help of someone holding the entry doors open, I believe a wheelchair user could comfortably enter the bar and enjoy drinking there. There are minimal thresholds at the entrance(see pics), the doors are just not automatic. Plus the low price of drinks makes it a little more worth it to seek a bathroom elsewhere as needed. Tables at booths have supports in the middle (rather than edges) so a wheelchair could be rolled up to the table in a pinch. This might be tough during really busy times, but during slow or mid-busy times the walkway seems wide enough. Booths are also roomy enough between the table and the booth seat that it would be reasonable to self-transfer from a wheelchair to a booth for someone comfortable with doing so. There are a few spots close to the bar where a folded wheelchair could be stashed by a friend who is drinking with you. Staff is nice and I believe they would do their best to accommodate a place to place folded chair.“
