“We love Snowmass in the off season. Toro and its prix fixe special did not disappoint. The sushi rolls (suviche) were unexpected in a latin restaurant, creative, fresh and crisp. The lobster wonton roll was our favorite. I regret I don't remember our server's name. She was Peruvian. She was lovely - very kind and attentive. The only thing we didn't love was how close we were to the table next to us. It felt like the gentleman seated there was uncomfortably having to listen to our conversation. If the restaurant had been full and busy, maybe more noise around would have helped, but if you're a table of 2, beware the (almost communal) bench seating.“

“Unfortunately we were not able to have dinner at Stark's Alpine Grill due to the restaurant being closed. I read a past review that had a similar experience. That being said, OpenTable should update this and make sure they close off the times if it is not open. I also suggest those that make a reservation double check with the hotel receptionist to see if it's open or not. We were able to go to the restaurant for breakfast and were very happy with how our food came out.“

“’m always looking for some place different to eat, to stay, to do, when we travel. I’m not sure how I even found this restaurant but I’m sure part of the attraction was a black owned business in Aspen. MAWA’s Kitchen is like striking gold in the mountains of Colorado. Every dish was excellent, from the Brussel Sprout Caesar to the Two Roots Sautéed Greens, pure heaven in your mouth. For our entrees Conrad chose the Red Snapper. It was served on top of some Zaalouk, which is a Moroccan salad of cooked eggplant and tomatoes. Delicious. I chose the West African Gumbo. The flavors meshed together perfectly and had a little spicy Andouille sausage to kick it up a notch. The servers were great and they even gave me a dessert for my birthday. I would definitely recommend this for a great dining experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by for brunch today, another excellent meal. Got to meet Mawa. Such a great place. Plentiful, perfectly seasoned mashed avocado with feta & pickled onions on house baked bread is superb. Another vegan option is the Warrior Pudding Bowl, this healthy dish is super flavorful, light yet filling. Ingredients include quinoa, hemp, chia & oat. The Nell’s famous Hot Cocoa is rich, creamy & a quintessential tribute to Valrhona’s top of the heap chocolate. The recipe includes half & half, sugar, Valrhona cocoa powder & chocolate. It’s unreal! I’m a pastry fanatic so I always can’t wait to hear what flavor hand pie (pop tart esque) is on the menu. I also stash one in my ski back pack, makes the chairlift ride even more fun!“

“Spent a 3day weekend in Aspen, mostly dining out every evening. Every review at places said pricey for what you get served. Including this place. Buffalo Burgers are usually expensive anyway... I can say as a fact that the size of the burger was large and thick, perfectly cooked! Juicy Tasted Wonderfully delicious!! I forget what my friend ordered but she did say it was the best thing she ate so far on the trip. We did go on a Sunday kinda late. When we walked past to the hiking trails it was packed all the times.“
