“This is such an excellent restaurant, and a very special family-owned business that warms my heart every time I go in. There's no other restaurant in the Boulder-Denver area that compares for its quality of ingredients, perfect execution of the hot and cold traditional dishes, great sake selection, and friendly ambiance. They do the best salt-grilled mackerel I've ever had, the best agedashi mochi, the best nigiri sushi--and the miso-simmered dishes are amazing and hard to find elsewhere. The prices are fair and the food beats more expensive places in Denver. Yes, sometimes a dish will be sold out--but that's because they do everything fresh! I always feel taken care of there, and I always leave happy and well-fed, and thinking about my next visit.“

“One of my favorite sushi places in the neighborhood, always friendly staff, always delicious and fresh food including their sushi. The place isn't very large and is quite cozy which adds to the overall atmosphere. Have been here several times ans probably would be here more often if I could. Know the owner, from earlier days and he and his wife are always so friendly and warm. Enjoyed fresh sushi as well as their eggplant and agedashi tofu.“

Absolutely love this sushi place. It’s right by my work so I feel incredibly grateful. They have a wide selection of rolls at affordable prices. It’s honestly the best place I’ve found in terms of price and quality in and outside of the Denver area.

I am obsessed with the Dynamite Roll. It is lightly deep fried with eel and cream cheese inside. On top, they drizzle eel and spicy mayo sauce and top it off with tobiko. I also love their lunch specials (pick two or pick three roll options) and their vegetarian rolls. They even have options for people who may really not like sushi or want more options… like the Kobe Beef Roll (it’s awesome and has soy paper). I also have tried their Volcano Roll and it was phenomenal.

The service is always great and everyone is so kind every time I go. It is nowhere near WholeFoods or Grocery Store sushi by any means. If you think it is, maybe you just haven’t tried enough sushi to really make that kind of statement (commenting on a previous review) because that is just ridiculous. I’ve truly never had a bad experience here and I’ve eaten at Sushi Den & Uchi Denver for context.

“We love Bao in Louisville. We are so happy that this restaurant has survived the Louisville fire. This year our family ordered a Bao Christmas. We ordered sushi appetizers and dinners to go. All of the food was amazing. It was all hot fresh and high-quality. The manager is amazing and ensures every customer is taken care of. This is one restaurant that is always consistently excellent! “My husband and daughter (18 months) and I, ate here and had a really lovely experience. We got a couple sushi rolls, fried rice and chicken nuggets and it was all wonderful. The staff were really wonderful with my daughter, and even when she got upset for a moment, they brought out a small balloon to make her feel better. It was really sweet. ❤️

“My Go To place for the best lunch specials! 🍽️ MtFuji is my happy place🤗especially on difficult work days. 10/10 such a comfortable atmosphere and the staff is always amazing, so friendly and helpful. 😋The fried rice is my absolute favorite and I love that all the lunch specials come with the most delicious little salad and miso soup. 🥣 Their sushi 🍣 is also phenomenal and reasonably priced.
