“We have this experience two summers as we had a new waiter the first time but same waiter this time. Our order took over an hr to get and the waiter came back after 45 min wait to tell us our 15 month child menu was not available. How could they not know when we ordered from children's menu. Unexceptionable! Then after over hr food came but one did not receive her smash burger. That is inexcusable! Waiter then came back to apologize. The manager was very polite and comp our meal. We actually liked the food we finally got which is sad. We will not try it again from two experiences the same.“

“We had a early reservation and we were able to talk with the servers and get their advice on the menu. One of our parties is Celiac and they were outstanding making sure she ordered gluten free and gave her options. Michelle Hersen was awesome.“

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.“

“Love hanging out at the George! Any season throughout the year is a good time here. Great selection of beers and the redbull slushies are great too. Bar service is quick even when they get a little busy. The food at this bar is top notch. My favorite go to is definitely the duck and mushroom quesadilla. Its a great snack if your really hungry or a decent meal if not! Ski season Après The George is the place to be. Find it down the stairs and enjoy some damn good food and drinks.“

“Bully Ranch quickly became our absolute favorite restaurant in Vail — and we tried everything from the super trendy spots to the most expensive ones. The food here was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Prices were also very reasonable compared to everything else we tried in town. We didn't repeat a single restaurant in Vail... except for Bully Ranch. That says it all! Highly recommend!“

“I had one 5-star experience and one 2-star experience.

The 2-star experience was mostly awful service... We only got our first drinks around 2 mins before we were given the cheque. Food was delivered wrong. Only saw the server once until we complained after food was delivered.

5-star experience was amazing the server was the best I've had in years. Charismatic, helpful, attentive. Pizza with honey wasn't a good decision. But was great food for everyone else.“

“This place is a hidden gem, as it’s located away from the center of Vail village, inside of a mountain lodge. Spacious, rustic interior creates a cozy ambiance featuring floor to ceiling windows and a stone fireplace. The food is amazing - a combination of French and American mountain cuisine. The portions are big and great for sharing.“

The food is served apparently only some days.. then there's no wait staff I guess anymore, and as much as this place suppose to be bumpin' for any apres ski time they decide to close at 4pm or so.. blew my mind.. absolutely the most prime real estate .. the way its ran I guarantee they're hitting less than 50% of its potential revenue! “We went for a late lunch and sat outside near the grassy area so kind of loud. The staff was great and very helpful with out split burger and salad and split checks without asking. Food was good and a good value but wine and beer was pricey. Overall, would go again.“

“Cucina is such a hidden gem. I wish more people in Vail new about Cucina! The space is huge, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is incredibly fast and friendly—especially Salvatore and Tyler. Even with our big event, they were quick, patient, kind, and super attentive. Their customer service really stood out, and I’ll definitely be coming back. The burger was delicious, and I can’t wait to try their breakfast menu next time!“

“Highly recommend reservations, this restaurant is busy. Our table was ready when we arrived. Excellent service- staff was very friendly. Food was delicious - stared with the pimento cheese appetizer. Our group ordered a mix of hanger steak and chicken and everyone loved their meals. The ice cream snickers is a must try, it was easy to split. If you are feeling generous you can buy the kitchen a round of drinks - it's called Kitchen Sauce on the menu. We were seated next to the kitchen and they deserved it - everyone was working hard, our food arrived quickly and perfectly plated. We will be back again soon.“

“Favorite local spot for dinner drinks and all the right laid-back Colorado vibes you can handle. When I worked in Vail this is the spot everyone would go after work for food and drinks and if the locals love it you know it's good. If you're visiting Vail in the summer, winter, or ever the October mud season when everyone's gone, you HAVE to try Garfs at least once. You won't regret it.“

“The veggie chili is very yummy and filling after a morning of skiing. Can add corn, onions, and hot sauce. They used to serve it over a baked potato too but sadly not anymore. There is also a quinoa/bean burger, but unknown if this is vegan. Items are only listed as vegetarian on the menu. They also sell bobo’s bars and a few other vegan snacks if you look.“

“Me and my family visited Gessner last weekend for dinner while staying at Grand Hyatt. The ambiance is really nice, very classy with those mountain views, but the food was a bit hit and miss :(

We ordered the chicken breast, which I was really looking forward to. The meat quality was good, no doubt, but it was lacking that punch of flavor. it felt a bit bland, like they forgot to add something.

My wife got the pesto pasta, which was better, but still too dry for our liking. It had good flavor, but needed more sauce to make it perfect.

Service was excellent.

The presentation of dishes was nice, though, and the place is super clean and fancy.

“Grabbed an iced chai latte on break, it was refreshing. The barista was very friendly, even when guests came in for ice cream, which is next door, she'd point them in the right direction and tell them to enjoy their ice cream. This place can get packed quickly, but afternoon in the summer are quite pleasant.“

“Located at the top of Gondola 19 in Lionshead, Eagle’s Nest has several eateries for skiers and riders. The food here is good, although expensive. Over the past two years, the menu options and quality have improved significantly.There is a good bar on the first floor, Bistro 14. This use to be a restaurant, but post-COVID, it is just a bar.“

LONGER REVIEW: We have been to Elway's in Vail a number of times over the years, but it has been a while. Based on reviews, decided to give it a another try. SERVICE: Seated promptly at reservation time at a booth by request. Alejandra - our main server - was Awesome. She was there when you needed her, with a great attitude and advice. Nice job! FOOD and COCKTAILS. Had a "French martini" and a Glass of Red Blend. Wines by the glass were adequate, the wine list by the bottle is more extensive. #7 Salad to table share, Sea Bass prep, and Prime Ribeye. Loaded baked potato and Sweet corn for sides. All perfectly cooked, with a few take home boxes. All Very Tasty. The chocolate cake to share at the end - all gone. OVERALL: Elways always delivers for us. Highly recommend. Only downside was a couple of "fussy" babies in the dining room, but that was a minor distraction. YES, we would go back.“

The breakfast spread was incredible, with an amazing omelet station and an impressive pastry selection. Later, Neil crafted an incredible espresso martini that was the perfect pick-me-up.
