From the friendly staff whom immediacy greeted us upon arrival to tbe owner who made a special trip outdoors after personally cooking our crepes in the kitchen. We tried their chicken pesto crepe w/ tomato and spinach- absolutely delicious ! And also the salmon, cream cheese, tomato, caper, red onion crepe. Yum! We also sampled their lattes both hot and cold brew and a marvelous bacon cheddar biscuit warmed up and buttered ! They have sweet crepes as well and many non- crepe options. This Cafe will not disappoint! A beautiful menu with many selections of fresh, health conscious choices as well as some slightly more indulgent pasterie options! “During lunch break from having to serve jury duty I found this coffee shop down the street and decided to pop in. The two behind the counter were very friendly and inviting, and the special grilled cheese with tomato or bacon with soup was PERFECT . the chicken corn chowder came out piping hot and didn't even need any salt or pepper. I'm usually skeptical when someone has to make my coffee instead of me doing it, but unlike dunkin donuts the gentleman made it just right! they seem to have a familiar and friendly customer fan base, and I would definitely go back again.“

“I work close by so I am at Cilantro several times a week... and as a self-proclaimed "foodie" I highly recommend this local hot spot for delicious coffee, super tasty chicken salad, raspberry/almond scones, "yoga" cookies, matcha cookies & their peanut butter/ coconut bites! I also frequently get their matcha or golden milk lattes, both are masterfully made & delicious either hot or cold!! I usually see Helen, but everyone there is also as friendly as she is and on-point with my order. Their in-store grocery treats and savory goodies are a delightful hand-picked selection that reminds regulars & travelers why they're a favorite local business & one to support and visit often!!“

Crunchy on the outside with plenty of almonds and a dusting of powdered sugar and flaky on the inside with the most amazing and plentiful almond filling. “Every time I visit New Haven, G Café is one of my favorite stops. It has that cozy, small-town café charm that instantly makes you feel at home.
This time, I went in hoping to get some work done, and it didn’t disappoint. There were others working too, which created a nice focused vibe. The free Wi-Fi and sunny window view made it an ideal spot to spend the afternoon.
I ordered the ham and cheese quiche—absolutely perfect—and paired it with an iced latte (requested with less ice, and to my surprise, they actually followed through!). For just $14, I got great food, great coffee, and a peaceful three-hour work session. Definitely a spot I want to come back to.“

“We had oysters on half shells for antipasto and a lobster fettuccine and a branzino (which came with sauteed spinach and purple potatoes) for main courses, then finished with a berries cheesecake.\n\nNow the oysters were so good that we ordered another four. Then my husband had a bite of the fettuccine and told me, it's so good he felt like flying with wings. Which made me wonder what he meant, so I had a bite. The parsley worked magically with the lobster, and the fettuccine was done perfectly. And the lobster was succulent and sweet.\n\nNow back to my branzino. I actually never liked branzino the fish, mainly for its boring texture and taste. I ordered it just because I felt adventurous today, really. But this one surprised me. The crushed pistachios somehow worked wonders with the branzino, hah! And the sauteed spinach, as well as the grilled purple potatoes, were mind blowing. I will go back, if not for the lobster fettuccine, only for the spinach and the purple potatoes.\n\nOh, and we had a side of sauteed broccoli rabe which was no less miraculous than the spinach and purple potatoes. We agreed that this is a restaurant we'll visit again soon.\n\nThe dessert was a neat finish to the fulfilling meal. This was a happy, rainy evening.\n\nOh and we loved Francesco. We had servers who would constantly make remarks or gestures that left guests feeling bothered and uneasy, but Francesco was just right. He's so cordial and effective, always there when we thought to look up but never intrusive or inhospitable for the sake of being hospitable. I guess he's also part of the reason we felt so comfortable dining there.“

“I like Dante's Inferno and the Columbian dark roast. The cafe boasts lovely natural lighting and essentially, the cafe is a large solarium. The cafe plays classic soul music most of the time. It's good for a quick bite. The KBT dining staff are always lovely and they roast their own beans.“

“I recently ordered a Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla & wings from Zee's. If you like spicy, this Quesadilla is for you! It was more than worth the price; it had great flavor, & it was packed! That was one big Quesadilla! I shared it with someone, because it was too much for me. Oh by the way, the garlic parm wings, & mild wings were delicious too! Don't sleep on Zee's food. It's fantastic. Also of note, check out their specialty drinks. Always something new & delicious to try!“

“Tucked in the back of the beautiful Graduate Hotel, Poindexter Coffee has become my go-to spot. The lobby’s cool furniture and big communal tables make it feel stylish but relaxed, and the space itself is great, high ceilings, tons of natural light, and plenty of room to spread out. The coffee is consistent. The staff is genuinely kind, especially to pets; my dog is always welcomed with smiles and a treat. Between the pet-friendly vibe (hotel included), friendly service, and comfortable setup, it’s the perfect place to post up with a latte and stay awhile. Highly recommend.“

I love to do a wine flight (3 2 oz. glasses) and do a blind tasting with a partner, then try to match them to the wine based off of the tasting notes. We also tried the chocolate lava cake, which was decent and a good pairing with the drinks. Service was attentive and excellent. A wonderful experience overall, and an underrated gem in the neighborhood.“

“We stumbled upon this place and the owner was amazing and welcomimg. The bartenders were just as pleasant and friendly. We stayed and ended up enjoying our entire evening there and felt like family by the time we left. We couldn't leave before enjoying Chaz's delicious food... The fish platter is a must try! We have definitely added this on our list of places we will frequent when needing a nice drink and great atmosphere.“
