“The best DD on i95 exit 63 in Connecticut near the Clinton Factory Outlets. The employees are very friendly and professional too. Always smiling. Bathroom very clean. Eat-in is favorable. Ample and super clean parking lots. Next door is ColdStone icecream... yummy. If you need emergency repairs on your phone, there is AT&T. The employees are superb. You could fix vacuum cleaners at Orec. If you are traveling with pets.. YES.. Petco is here too.. the employees know what they are doing.. and next door is Mattress Firm.. been there many times.. made me sleepy.
Come visit Glenwood Plaza, 8 Glenwood Rd, Clinton, Connecticut.“

“They were super busy and I told him that I had quad espresso and I can’t wait 15 minutes and the girl said hey I got two shots. Here’s two more boom bang. I got my drink no bullshit went great. Also the unit is brand new and it was super busy. It was very clean inside. There was some condensation on the inside walls. Everybody was nice to me. Thank you so much“

“I went to the drive thru New Year’s Eve at 2:00 in the afternoon and it was extremely busy! They asked me to pull along the side which I did and there was another vehicle there also waiting. Within a few minutes there were 4 vehicles waiting in that small area (which would have been fine if the first vehicle pulled in correctly) the gentleman that was running the food out literally was running his tail off! They did a great job expediting the food as quickly as they could! Props to all of the workers there today working their butts off! You all did a great job!“
“Excellent coffee and bagels. Top notch service. The owners and staff couldn’t be friendlier. If you’re near Westbrook looking for a coffee shop, I fully recommend Julie’s Cup of Joe!“

“A lovely stop while in Essex for my favorite Matcha Tea Latte with oat milk! Grab a gourmet pastry such as a pumpkin spice biscotti or pumpkin walnut bread and you’ll be all set for the afternoon. Gf and vegetarian options too! Friendly and efficient service. Nice little outdoor seating area as well as indoor tables.“

“Coming home this afternoon from a class at the Y, I thought about what to have for lunch. As I approached the light in Deep River, I decided to stop and see what the nest had to offer. I came home with a warm ham and Bree sandwich on a beautiful brioche bun and it did not disappoint. It was truly a treat on this chilly day as I continue with their warm chi latte made with almond milk. Lucky to have them close by! Sosse Baker“

“Just tried the vegan chocolate and vegan lemon blueberry. May I just say they were both outstanding...creamy, rich and delicious. Well done Honeycone Cream Co. 🥰 I will definitely be a repeat customer. Husband had a vanilla milkshake and he said it was really good.“

She makes us laugh. She is very nice. Always makes sure our order is right. Whatever you do give this girl a raise. It is so hard to find someone who has that much friendly customer service“

“I recently moved to the area (family has lived here for decades, so I am aware of Beach Donut from my visits, but now I can go anytime!!!) and went to Beach Donut the very first morning here after my drive across the country. I have lived here about 4 months, and I go here perhaps 2x a week. They have a great selection of donuts, coffee, tea, sandwiches, etc, but I only order one donut per stop, and take it home to eat. I try to order a new/different one each time, so I have now had one of most different donuts. Service is always great. Donuts are just $2 each, with some specialty things (apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, etc) up to $5 each. I have ordered donuts that I honestly thought I would not like - I think I was challenging Beach Donut to disappoint me after so many home runs! Anyway, I have fun 'rating system' for donuts. There is my 'favorites' list, my 'OK' list, my 'meh' list, and my 'never-again' list. Of the 20-25 different donut flavors that I have tried, this place skews the grading system - EVERYTHING (except for one - later) is on my 'favorites' list. I kid you not. The one that ended up on my 'meh' list was the cinnamon roll. I will never order it again - not because it was bad, but because you can't go wrong with any of the others instead. I have 2 favorite-favorites: The $5 apple fritter and the $2 chocolate glazed. $5 for a fritter seems a little high, on the surface of it all, but when you see this and eat this you will understand that it is worth every penny. If I have ANY complaint about the fritter, it is that the darned things are TOO BIG. There is no way a normal human (See my moniker????? I am USED to eating challenges and usually win.) can eat one of these in a single sitting. But they are THE MOST apple-y fritter I have ever had. Simply awesome!\n\nIf you are in the area some morning, give this place a try. The donuts rival those from Emily's Bakery in Westbrook which closed decades ago, but set an impossibly high 'donut bar'. Tell them Fatso says 'hi'!!“
