“5 ⭐️We went here to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Sacred Heart University. Their location in Trumbull near the college was over an hour wait. Found out there was a second (original ) location in Stratford, On the phone they told us to come right over, they were waiting for us. When we arrived they welcomed us with open arms, were super friendly and super attentive. They treated my daughter like a super star. The food was delicious and the cocktails were so creative and tasty. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.“

Two of our party had their chairs collapse (and no, they were not obese). Waitress was lovely, however, walked into the restaurant to use the bathroom to find several other waitresses loudly talking about how annoged they were by our table. Went back in to let my son use the restroom and they were speaking badly about another table. needless to say, wont be back. which sucks because our boat is there.“

“I stopped here for dinner after shopping at Bass Pro Shops/Cabelas, it was a good little find. I had some clam chowder and steamed clams, both were very good, they had good beer on tap too. Place had a good blue collar New England fisherman feel to it, great bartender, and its location felt like the kind of place which may be next to the dock the seafood is unloaded at. I’ll be back especially if riding my motorcycle on the CT turnpike as this place also appeared very friendly towards bikers.“

“While visiting Bridgeport, Connecticut, I stumbled upon a small but impressive spot—Banderas Latin Fusion. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the owner, who also happens to be the chef.

The menu was full of tempting options, making it hard to choose just one. What stood out immediately was the care and precision the chef put into every dish. He prepared and plated each entrée meticulously, holding all three plates behind the counter until they were perfectly finished. Only then did he bring them to the table, showing clear pride in his craft.

The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful without being overwhelmed by too much sazón or adobo, which can sometimes be the case at other Puerto Rican spots. The balance of flavors was just right.

“Why here? We arrived a bit early for the ferry to Port Jefferson and decided that we could no longer ignore Boca while traveling through Bridgeport. Very happy with our decision and experience under the circumstances. Parking was easy and plentiful during a a late afternoon lunch period. The hostess was attentive and managed to locate the only shaded table left at the outdoor dining area. The facilities were well maintained. A beautiful sunny 80 degree summer afternoon complimented the ambience. Our server was friendly and gave her opinion on thejalapeno cole slaw. My blackened salmon BLT was delicious, and the side of cole slaw was a perfect side compliment. My wife had the cod tacos and enjoyed the dish. Our drinks, a Manhatten and Mojito were not watered down and were well balanced. The abutting Marina enhanced the seafood aroma and aesthetic. For the summer season, a wonderful and recommended choice. It will be our first choice should time allow during our travels.“

There are little souvenir shops, casual restaurants, and spots where you can just sit, breathe, and watch the boats.

I went around sunset and the lighting over the water was just magical. I highly recommend timing your visit during the golden hour—it completely transforms the place. If you’re into photography, you’ll love it here.

The only thing I found slightly disappointing was the price—some of the food and drinks felt a bit overpriced for what you get. But overall, the atmosphere and experience made up for it.
