“My friend and I took a girls road trip today and ended up in New Castle. We decided to try Jessop's Tavern for lunch and absolutely loved it. Friendly warm atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious lunch! So glad we decided to stop in. We will definitely be back!”

“Staff is friendly. I ordered flounder and it was cooked while I waited. He threw in a Wing too because I originally wanted chicken but changed my mind. It was a very tasty and fried well, and not too salty.”

“This is not a WaWa. Just a family run convenience store at a gas station which is fine. As the for the KrispyKruncy Chicken, they make the best when compared to the other KrispyKrunchies. This place is good. They make the chicken fresh.”

“This is an awsome hot dog house, the food is simple , delicious, and decently priced. Its a staple of delaware where you get a dog any style, cheese steaks, fries soda. With a smile. The staff are very friendly .
The only issue is that it is a very quaint place, with bar style seating no booths.

“We randomly stopped at the New Castle Farmers Market on a drive elsewhere and randomly happened upon Los Jarritos and thought it was some of the best authentic Mexican we’ve had on the east coast (don’t you love it when that happens?).

We split a burrito with pork and green sauce and a chicken tamal. The burrito was better than the tamal but we still thoroughly enjoyed both.

The pork in the burrito was exceptional - and the red and green hot sauces were an ideal complement.

Chips and salsa were also delicious - can’t tell if they were included or not but our total bill including a Mexican coke was less than $16.

Stopping at this flea market felt like a portal to another world for us out-of-towners, but we enjoyed the experience and would happily go back to Los Jarritos.”

The sushi menu is huge and very well detailed and easy to understand! They had no problem doing substitutions which is amazing!

“While I like most of Stoltzfus’s items, I’ve been disappointed in their chicken salad. It used to be a staple in our home but seems like they’ve changed the recipe. It’s now so runny with mayo (or whatever they use) that it plops right off our sandwiches. They’ve also seem to cut back on the celery which added a nice contrasting crunch. Please bring back the old recipe.”

“This store has a fair number of weapons for sale. The cashier Dylan striked up an interesting conversation with me about firearms and how his favorite is a 6 Hour 365. After this engaging conversation, I all the more wanted to buy at least one thing from the store (I hate to go into a small store and not buy anything). Initially, I couldn´t find anything that met my particular interests. Then, I came across a Qing dynasty coin, which I happily bought. I hope this store offers more foreign currency in the future.”
