“I recently visited Coconut Grove with my wife from Colombia, and we decided to check out The Oyster Bar by Eva. Criscelis, the bartender, was absolutely incredible! Her cocktails were delicious, and she was very friendly and conversational, making the whole experience even better. We had a fantastic time and enjoyed a wonderful atmosphere.

If you’re looking for great drinks and delicious oysters, I highly recommend this spot! It’s a must-visit in Coconut Grove.“

“We enjoyed Alma Cubana. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was vibrant, and our server was amazing. One minor complaint: I had chosen Alma Cubana bcs it supposedly had a lot of gluten free options. It did not. I was able to get a rice dish with shrimp and plantains, so it worked out, but it was still disappointing that I either accidentally picked the wrong restaurant in my search or that the gluten-free options are no longer available.“

Tried a little of lost things and not a single menu item disappointed. So grateful to have found this place and hope to make it back as soon as possible. Our server Sophia was not only attentive but thoughtful and kind hearted. She was a pivotable part of our experience and dare I say the meal itself was more then just a meal. “Pata Gorda never disappoints since they opened up. I always bring family and friends over. We made a reservation for 2 at 3pm and our server was amazing, so courteous, and gave us great suggestions for appetizers and desserts. I always come back to where I was happy so I will be definitely coming back to La Pata Gorda!“

“We had a fantastic dining experience at Catch Miami Beach with our family! The atmosphere was vibrant and upscale, perfect for a fun night out. The seafood was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor—standouts for us were the Catch Roll, the Crispy Shrimp, Hot Stone Wagyu Fried Rice and of course the amazing desert menu!

Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. The cocktails were also excellent—creative, well-balanced, and paired perfectly with the meal.

Overall, Catch Miami Beach delivered on both style and substance. It’s a great spot for a special evening or entertaining guests. Highly recommend and would absolutely return!“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“
