“Although my wife and I have not yet had the chance to experience Sushi by Scratch, I felt compelled to leave a review because of the exceptional professionalism and kindness shown by their staff. I made a reservation for my wife and myself as a Christmas gift, something I was genuinely looking forward to. Unfortunately, due to my military lifestyle and unexpected deployment-related schedule changes, I had to move the reservation twice and ultimately cancel until I can lock in a more stable schedule.

Throughout the entire process, the team was incredibly polite, understanding, and professional. They helped me immediately every time I reached out and went above and beyond by fully refunding my deposit without hesitation. That level of customer service says a lot about the values of this restaurant.

I truly appreciate the respect and understanding shown toward my situation, and I’m very much looking forward to finally experiencing Sushi by Scratch with my wife once I’m back and able to plan properly. Based on the service alone, I have no doubt it will be worth the wait.“

She suggested we try the Butter Krab Roll, and it was amazing. Our drinks were never empty and all the food came out fast and fresh. I had a party of 11 of us for my birthday, and we were treated with smiles, and taken care of like kings. The food was phenomenal! Some of the most beautiful, fresh seafood I have ever had in my entire life. I've been traveling seven years full-time, and I will definitely be coming back just to eat here! “We came in and the atmosphere was super nice.
The food was absolutely amazing, but my only problem is that there was only one person for all the place, it took so long to bring each and Handroll .
With that I will add that for people who don’t eat shellfish you can’t change the “experience” option on the menu which was unfortunate because we were 3 people and 2 of us don’t eat shellfish and we wanted all to take the same so we could eat at the same time .
But definitely would come back again.“

I asked for the vegan box listed on the menu, but was told they did not have all the ingredients to make the usual dishes, so the chef Kevin created a menu just for me. He was so creative, inventive, and excited about every dish he brought out of the kitchen, and each one was more delicious than the last. I am technically pescatarian, so a few of the dishes had fish sauce, but he would have easily accommodated me with a vegan or vegetarian menu as well. “This Yelp Experience Event was different in its flexibility. We had a whole week to go and try some menu items. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with the traveling theme. There's a lot of spots where you can take cute pictures. Once I found the RSVP link in the OpenTable app, I loved how easy and flexible it was. I had to change my reservation twice and the restaurant was super flexible about it. To drink, I tried the mango sangria, which was huge, refreshing and delicious. As an appetizer, we tried the Chicken Spring Rolls and Tuk Tuk Taquitos. The spring rolls were okay but the taquitos were delicious. It was unique where it combined the idea of tacos and sushi together. As the main entree, we tried the Tuna Sushi Pizza and Tao Roll. Once again the sushi pizza was unique where it combined the idea of pizza and sushi together and it was also very tasty. The Tao Roll was good but I liked it better without the topping. We also ordered the Poke Roll and Dinamita Vietnamita from the Happu Hour menu and they were both my favorite rolls of the night. The Sweet Dulce de Leche Wonton was also my favorite. I would have traded the ice cream for more dulce de leche wontons. I loved how we were able to combine the happy hour offer with this Yelp experience. The service was great and the bathrooms were clean. The only thing is that we didn't get was the coupon to return. But other than that, the event was amazing and I definitely want to return to try other items on the menu.“
