“Ayus's Cafe is tucked away in a by lane off Baymeadows Way. We almost thought Google maps was wrong. A little hidden gems that has Mediterranean options and some delicious Ethiopian! The injera is made fresh in store. Run by a mother daughter duo, Ayu and Rachel were friendly and helpful. We got the Sampler and the Key Wot. Loved it all. The falafel was crisp and yummy, and the key wot with injera was very flavorful. Do try them out!“

“Cleo’s has been a staple in our family, since I can remember, sooooo good! They are small, family owned and take pride in their service. They close at 2:00 and only accept cash. So worth the trip, their known for their taco salads but they have great sandwiches too.

“Average lunch today. The service was pretty fast for the amount of people that were in line. I heard at least four different people who were upset with something wrong with their orders. Food given to the wrong people, one guy upset that onions were on his sub and a couple of Rachel's trying to figure out which one's order was up. All of the tea containers were missing their lids and there weren't any lemon or lime wedges out. My sub had way too much onion on it and very little meat. It might be a while before I go back.“

“Absolutely the best experience ever at a Firehouse Subs location today. Went in with the 2 for $20 combo in mind. Kelly, the manager, said it was an online purchase only. No worries though. She takes my phone and firehouse app, goes through and places our order for us. I pay with my credit card in the app. The order spits out and she is standing at the counter when my order prints out. 5-7mins later we are waiting in the restaurant ! Kelly and her staff were absolutely amazing. Would recommend this location 10/10“

“Larry's made the mistake of shrinking the size of their sandwiches by trying to be sneaky and decreasing the width of their bread, as if we would not notice. They didn't want to follow Firehouse in just raising the prices dramatically, which most customers would prefer over shrinkflation. Sad, because they were our go-to for subs, especially with the military discount. They will probably try to deny it, but we were regulars for years and know the difference. We now call them pencil sandwiches. Sad.“

“This was me and my partners first restaurant spot after our move to Jacksonville. My partner was still nervous and had a lot of those nerves swept away by how sweet and kind the staff here was during our visit. The sunny side eggs were divine and actually cooked perfectly. The sausage links recommended to us were bustling with flavor. The prices are very reasonable, I loved that they had looney toons playing on the TV it really sealed the perfect mom pop vibe. I will be back.

Best salad ever - their homemade fat free honey mustard dressing is fantastic. I crave it all the time and would kill for the recipe - it has a spice in it I can’t place but it makes it different than any other you will ever have. The also have the best chocolate chip cookies.“

“It has been 9 years ago since I last stopped in at this location today. I used to come here for lunch once a month when working in the area. I was surprised today to see the same woman working there after all these years. So if my math is correct, I was working in the area from 1993 to 2017 = 24 years. If you count the 9 years I have been gone (2017 to 2026) that is a total of 32 years at this same Subway. That is some dedication and work ethic! Wishing her all the best!“
