47 Best Chicken Restaurants in Jacksonville

“Outstanding service and absolutely delicious food. They do it right!“

“The food is 5 star!! The Service is a little slow, the App will tell you that your order is ready for pick up but you have to wait an additional 10 to 20 minutes to get it. The atmosphere is on par with restaurants of it's caliber. I'm a repeat customer!!“

“Best. Chicken. Ever. Great environment. Phenomenal customer service.“

“my daughter and I had a great time at their 50s Daddy Daughter night. Thanks for so much fun.“

“This location has THE best customer service. They delivered the food to table, one drink had some leak on lid and the associate took it back to clean it off!! Then My Dr. Pepper tasted watered down i was just letting them know, so they knew. an associate gave me a different drink but one of the other ones went in the back and actually fixed the machine. Came out and brought me a fresh dr. pepper! BETTER SERVICE THAN A FANCY RESTAURANT!! GOOD JOB CHICK-FIL-A 👏🏼👏🏼🫶🏼“

“The food was awesome and fresh. The service was fast and convenient . The staff was also very inviting and friendly. Using the app and pick up window is also easy and convenient for those days after dance or sports practice when you just want a good quick meal. I highly recommend Huey Magoos and I am so glad we have a new go to place in Jax!“

“Love PDQ! They have some awesome milkshakes too!“

“Mark and Preston at the Hodges location are doing a great job today!! Fast, courteous, and professional. Keep up the good work!“

“This place surpassed our expectations. Extremely tender and juicy chicken, the Adobo rice is phenomenal, and my husband loves the palanok which he had never tried anywhere before. We tried both spicy and regular chicken. Both are good but we like the spicy better. Mashed potatoes taste like KFC but the gravy is better. When near another one of these or if we are in Jacksonville again, we will definitely go back“

“Me and my sister stopped in the chick fil A down from Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida
There was a waitress by the name Cathy. She was the sweetest lady. I have a hard time finding anything to drink. I had radiation and it makes my mouth dry and taste off. This sweet lady went above and beyond trying to help me. She had such compassion. I love her in Christ.
The gentleman waiter was very nice as well. I would like to say thank you so much. I pray for her and her niece Renee.“

“For an honest to goodness southern lunch place then Chicken Salad Chick is the perfect spot! I love the classic carol chicken salad.“

“Jax hot chicken has the best chicken in town hands down, the quality of the food is excellent and the flavor is like no other. I would highly recommend everyone in Jacksonville to go check this place out and tell us what you think. The loaded fries are for sure a go to, I get em every time. In my personal opinion, this food truck is one of the best I’ve been to.“

“I ordered alot of things, you can never go wrong with tunis a good place and quite a bit cheap for 4 people for $45-$60 range. (Also to make sure my fav person Britneyyy is there <3
I love Tunis so much! ❤️ I always come here to eat, and I’ve been looking at these wings for a few days now. Today, I finally decided to try them—and OMG! 😲🔥 They are SO good!
Jenny and Britney were my two girls at the front desk, and they were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for the great service! I’ll definitely be coming back again! 😍🍗❤️“

“Josh is the best!! Make sure to keep him! For some reason my order was automatically cancelled by the system (ordered pickup through uber eats) and I didn’t realize until I was in the drive through. Josh and the staff were very accommodating with still making my food which is good and very fresh. Saucy should fix this as this could be impacting any potential customers and money to the company as a FYI ANYWAYY Will definitely be back - this is the kind of customer service we need more off! Thank you to the staff and the manager Josh!!“

“The chick-fil-a in the town center is amazing the manager Jeff, is the most kindest person. Me and my cousin went there for lunch and her birthday. The staff greeted us as if we been knowing each other forever. They wished my cousin happy birthday and give both of us a free meal. Jeff the manager did. We was very thankful. Thank you much Jeff and also to your wonderful staff.“

“The food was outstanding. Crispy, fresh, tasty chicken sandwiches.
Torri C provided outstanding customer service. Her attitude and positive energy really made a difference.
We will be back because of the chicken and for the service of the staff.“

“I mean, if it’s not Sunday you just can’t beat it. It’s the best in shoe for it’s category easy! If it is Sunday just grab some coffee, a pillow, tap your Spotify fav and hunker down to be first in line Monday morning.“

“Great customer service along with great tasting food I will definitely be returning“

“I went through the drive through and I was pleasantly surprised when Alex asked me if he could scan the app so that I could get rewards in the drive through. I felt like this was above and beyond service which is why I love coming to chick fil a!“

“Jax Chicken on Edgewood is hands down my favorite location. Moo and his crew are always friendly, professional, and consistent. The chicken is made fresh to order every time, and you can definitely taste the difference. It’s hot, crispy, flavorful, and never tastes like it has been sitting around under a heat lamp fighting for its life.

This location just has a good vibe from the service to the food. Even when they are busy, the team still makes sure everything comes out fresh and right. I really appreciate a spot that takes pride in what they serve, and Jax Chicken on Edgewood does exactly that.

Definitely my go-to location when I want fresh chicken done right. Highly recommend!“

“Nick is absolutely unbelievable. I go here for lunch a few times a month because my office is so close, the food is on point. Every time I go and Nick is there I know that service is going to also be on point. He is always so friendly, conversational, and respectful. Kudos to him, as my day is made when I go to lunch at this location and he is working. Thanks again as always!“

“It was really busy so we decided to do an online order and shop around in other stores. Only took 15 after ordering online so even when they're busy they knock the food out quick. The Dave's Not Chicken is some of the best vegetarian chicken I've ever had.“

“The food was well prepared as always! Love this location and all the friendly staff. I feel really bad for the employees outside taking orders though. I wish they at least had hats or something to wear to knock the sun off. But they don’t complain and still keep smiles on their faces. I can tell they’re just trying to do the best they can. Chick-fil-a, give them ball caps!!“

“At this particular Church's Chicken the staff is excellent the place is so clean you can eat off the floor. I think they have changed the recipe of the chicken but that is not the employees responsibility, as far as the service it was excellent and the ladies were very nice and told us what the specials were so that we could maneuver getting the most for our money and we thank them for that“

“1st time in - I have a dairy allergy so we tried a bunch of flavors that are lactard friendly and 1000% will be back!!! not one bad flavor (just some we liked better than others) DELISH!!!! go w the 2 scoops and make your own sandwiches! 🤘🏻🥒 Noizy Pickleball approved!“

“Stopped in for gas and saw 2 customers exiting the shop with Krispy Krunchy Chicken buckets and mind you it was just a little after 11 AM. We were a bit hungry and decided why the heck not. We were so glad we did. The chicken was some of the tastiest chicken we've had in a while. A cross between KFC and Popeyes but better. Cajun flavor but with a tinge of sweetness. Almost forgot the potato wedges were so big and tasty as well. Next time in this neck of the woods will definitely be visiting again.“

“The peach cobbler is absolutely awful!! Taste like peach mixture poured a biscuit! Didn't anyone test this recipe?? I'm really disappointed - won't buy another one.“

“Julie is the best server there! The food is good, but Julie makes it with her personality! Don’t let her go!!“

“I pulled in at 11:45 pm when they were obviously closing. The white guy with a beard working the intercom on the drive through deserves a raise. He cooked some fresh food to order and had a great attitude. Best chicken fingers I’ve had at zaxbys!“

“Although the food is good at Zaxby's it is not worth waiting over 25 minutes to order two TLC combos No apologies from Staff. I have been eating at Zaxby’s for over 15 years but dunno if I will go back to this one“

“GOOD AND THE STAFF WAS GREAT.CHICKEN WAS FRESH AND HOT.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Krispy Krunchy Chicken really lives up to the name—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor every single time. The seasoning is spot on, the portions are generous, and it’s one of those spots that always hits when you’re craving fried chicken done right.“

“This is the very BEST CHICKEN i have ever tasted in my life. No joke. The chicken is always hot and juicy, the biscuits are always soft and mouth-watering, and the Jambalaya??? DELICIOUS! This chicken is absolutely delicious, would definitely recommend.“

“Here's my update from about a month ago. I am glad to report the owner made good on replacing my tenders. Of course I received freshly fried tenders with a smile. Heads up...according to the owner, tenders only take 5 min. If you're willing to wait, they can drop fresh for you at that moment.

Sending a big thank you to the guys at this KKC spot.“

“Previous reviewer must've looked for 2 mins, then gave up. The address is 100% correct, the restaurant is inside the Exxon station. Been here 3x already and LOVE their bone-in chicken and honey biscuits. Odd location, yes, but good food!“

“The San Jose location is always clean, fast, and efficient! Whenever that chicken craving hits, this is the store I always head to. The food is consistently delicious, and they always have my favorites ready to go. Definitely one of my go-to spots! 🍗❤“

“The chicken sandwich was hot and fresh“

“It's so wrong of people to leave a bad review not recommending a place due to bad delivery and not the actual food itself. My son new spot and he is chicken tenders king love your sauces!“
