Tried a little of lost things and not a single menu item disappointed. So grateful to have found this place and hope to make it back as soon as possible. Our server Sophia was not only attentive but thoughtful and kind hearted. She was a pivotable part of our experience and dare I say the meal itself was more then just a meal. We left feeling full, healthy and emotionally refreshed. Will be counting down till our next visit!“

“We recently dined here on a Sunday evening around 6:30 PM. The restaurant was moderately busy — not empty, but not fully packed either. Overall, the food was very good, and our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, which we truly appreciated. However, there were a couple of things that could use improvement. We were seated in a corner booth, and the tables next to us were empty. At one point, I asked my husband to sit next to me briefly so we could take a quick selfie — something that took less than two minutes. Out of nowhere, the hostess approached us in a chastising tone and told us we couldn't sit like that because the table was reserved. The interaction felt unnecessarily stern, especially considering the seats were empty at the time and remained empty for at least 45 minutes afterward. We tried to explain that it was only for a quick photo, but she did not acknowledge what we said. She delivered her message and walked away without any further response. The tone and manner of the interaction felt condescending and quite rude, which unfortunately left a negative impression. Additionally, when making the reservation, we were asked whether we were celebrating a special occasion, and we said yes. We were even asked about it again when we were seated. However, it was never mentioned afterward, and there was no acknowledgment during the meal. At a restaurant of this caliber, you would assume there is a purpose for noting special occasions during the reservation process, so that lack of follow-through was disappointing. Again, the food was good, and our server did a great job. With a bit more attention to hospitality and guest experience — especially in tone and follow-through on details — the overall experience could have been much better.“

“Food was good, they add the tip into your bill. We only seen the server once , someone else brought the food out. She didn’t even come back to see if everything was okay, and if we needed anymore to drink. Didn’t think it was worth an automatic 45 dollars when we couldn’t even order refills or another drink.“

“Awesome place to hangout in the evening. Right next to the pool so take a swim, order from the bar. Later hang out at the bar and chat away with strangers and have a good time.
Food was good and they make good drinks.
Best part, people who hang out here and the bar tenders Pratap and Wesley. They make you feel like you are vacation.
Only complaint I have is that they close soon. Management needs to extend the hours.“

“Wonderful French/Mediterranean restaurant in South Beach. I've eaten there on two separate occasions and both experiences were top. With the beautifully designed in and outdoor spaces, a warm, relaxing atmosphere you know immediately you are in a special place. The terrace itself is on the Bay with the gorgeous views of Miami and its skyline. The food on both nights was excellent (duck one night salmon, Greek salad the second) with beautiful presentations, freshness and superb flavors. And that goes for the dishes of others in our group. The deserts we tried were excellent, specially the Chocolate Sensation!! Service is excellent, just what you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. For instance, one of the nights was windy and cool and they offered us warm blankets or moving inside. On a scale of 1 - 100, I would give this restaurant a 90.“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“Ordered chicken and pork empanadas for starter. Bellini with peach was amazing. Three sliders entree gives you the flavors of their tender and juicy meats with plantain fries. Can't miss with ropa vieja tender with a little crisp. Finished it off with mango cake. The entire lunch, atmosphere, music and staff exceeded our expectations! Definitely recommend the Miami Beach location. Sit close to the street for additional and unexpected treats.“

I feel after the pandemic, it's really changed the service force. It was such a fresh breath of air to have such an amazing time and service! I had a party of 11 of us for my birthday, and we were treated with smiles, and taken care of like kings. The food was phenomenal! Some of the most beautiful, fresh seafood I have ever had in my entire life. I've been traveling seven years full-time, and I will definitely be coming back just to eat here! “My experience at Las' Lap was excellent from beginning to end! The decor and ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful. The service by the wait staff was top notch. They were knowledgeable about every item on the menu, made great recommendations and were attentive throughout our dining experience. The food was amazing, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. I loved the concept of ordering multiple shareable dishes for the table and them being brought out throughout the night as more of a tasting menu.“

“This is definitely a dive bar. If that is your scene then this is the place for you. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and boy was it crispy. I had to send the first one back as it tasted burnt. My husband had the sloppy Jose sandwich which he too did not care for. The fish tanks were cool to look at.“

“Tucked into the Oceanside of our favorite Boutique Hotel in NOBE, this place will WOW you with their food, atmosphere and view. The staff is phenomenal, service is excellent. We’ve had most everything on the menu over the years, most recently the Ahi Tartar, Greek Salad, Grape Arugula Salad, Kalypso Burger and pizzas (Margarita and Mushroom), Lamb Shank and Short Rib, everything was perfectly prepared and presented. It’s accessible from the beach walk or Collin’s Ave. you will not be disappointed with a visit to this fine establishment. Achilles and his staff including Kenny and Niko will treat you like family.“

“I was a guest at the Hilton property and utilized the Bentley Beach Club area of the beach. They honored our Hilton status and we were allowed two beach chairs and an umbrella daily, a great deal considering the cost. The beach is nice. Beautiful water when the seaweed isn't present. The Santorini restaurant delivers food and drinks to patrons of the beach club upon request. Service was great, no complaints.“

“It was a wonderful stay at The Local House. Anachulia's welcome was very warm, and we immediately felt at home. Everything is bright and friendly, and our room was simply wonderful. The same goes for the stunning rooftop terrace. Enjoying a coffee there was a great start to the day. Right on Ocean Drive, yet very quiet. Miami Beach is also just a short walk away. “This place is worth braving the traffic or whatever else might be in your way. We had an absolutely fantastic experience on a Friday night. Some highlights: a tour of the fresh (some still alive) fish on offer, including explanations of their provenance. We had four people who have been around some great restaurants before but each of us learned something right then and there. The waiter actually brought us over to the iced storage area so we could see these fellas before we ordered em up. The bread with olive oil and fresh oregano cut table-side was a really great start to what proved to be an exceptionally good meal. Highlights: the sashimi. I think my friend JC entered an altered transcendent state with that. The scallops: big and perfectly sautéed, a little crisp on the outside and just right on the inside. The calamari: and don't miss that black ink risotto. Also, we didn't order it but it seemed like everyone else in the place had a giant watermelon/feta/basil salad and were pretty delighted with it. The colors alone made it worth the effort. Finally, while I could go on about the tiger shrimp or the chocolate mousse cake, I want to add that my husband ordered mint tea. No Twinnings tea bag here. Rather a heated cup and a hot pot of boiling water poured over actual mint leaves with a side of honey. A perfect end to a really fantastic dinner experience. No notes. Please go.“
