“We were greeted immediately by 2 wait staff as we approached the door. It had begun to rain as we got out of the car. We were greatful for being able to get out of the rain. Hot tea and coffee were brought immediately and we ordered the Fri night special. Paella with seafood And a salad. We added plantains of course. For desert Flan.“

“We're visiting Miami and wanted to try Cuban food..Esquina Cubana didn't disappoint. My husband ordered the special combo the croquettes , fried yuca and those empanadas soooo good. I ordered the fried snapper, the snapper was seasoned just right and the rice was yummy. Our server Cristian was great , very attentive. All I can saw is chef' s kiss...10/10.“

“Had an amazing late lunch at News Cafe. It was just the thing to start off my Miami trip! Had the Chicken Paillard which came in a very generous portion with roasted potatoes and an arugula salad and it was super tasty and fresh. Update 1/2026: I brought friends this time. They absolutely loved it. The crème brûlée is a must. Food was phenomenal and walked the complete location. The pastries look amazing and had coffee at the coffee bar. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. Highly recommended.“

The New Yorker (whiskey sour) was one of the best cocktails I've ever had (old fashioned was delicious, too.) We had a long, leisurely meal and enjoyed every second of it. Highly recommend!“

“The female staff spoke Spanish only so communication was lost in translation, only the female owner spoke English. They are incredibly busy as their sandwiches are delicious and popular. We ordered a beef sandwich (Pan Con Bistec), a classic Cuban sandwhich made with pork(Miami), and a Pepsi zero as they do not have diet Coke. This is a take out only joint. Food came quickly. I loved the classic Cuban sandwich, it reminds me of the Montreal sandwich. The portion was so big, we got 2 meals out of it. Ps: they do not accept cash, only credit card through their square machine. Sandwich was priced between $14.25 -$15.75, very reasonable.“

“Don’t sleep on this place! It used to be La Colada Gourmet, but goes by this name now. They still have a lot of the same dishes if not all the same. Also still have delicious coffee drinks.

The hubby and I started with the Yuca bread which was warm, soft and perfectly toasty on the outside. Both the beef tallow butter and coconut butter were perfect, along with the orange zest sea salt.

We both then got the Picadillo as we didn’t want to share 😆; it’s SO delicious & flavorful, and he got the oxtail which was also flavorful and so so tender.

We then ended with the creamiest flan, amazing 305 Cafe, & Cafe Wynwood. The artistry on the coffee drinks was on point!

I can’t forget to speak about the service we received from Rosemary. Very attentive but not overbearing! The rest of the team was on top of it too! Thank you all, we will of course be back!“
