Restaurants in Albany

“Fantastic service, cookies are great size, baked fresh, sooo delicious. Love the variety and gives room to try new flavors and flavor combinations. Totally worth the cost.”

“I can not brag enough about how wonderful our experience at Up 2 U Entertainment was. The owners were super helpful and friendly. I took a group of 14 year old boys out to celebrate my son’s upcoming birthday in a rage room. The staff members were attentive to all of our needs and didn’t complain even when the boys went a little over their time. All of the boys said that it was such a fun experience. I will definitely return!”

“I celebrate my birthday here on 9/27/25. I highly recommend. Definitely a 10 out of 10. I will definitely be back. The service and food was top tier. And the cocktails are amazing.”

“The food was delicious! Our waitress was amazing! Deondra is very knowledgeable of the menu items, she is patient with large groups, and works with enthusiasm! I highly recommend this restaurant! Make sure Deondra is your waitress. You wont be disappointed!!!”

“I visited Olive Garden, Albany, GA in early November. My waitress was 6-star worthy. Her name is Alyssa. I can't imagine a better representative of the best customer service.”

“My daughter had garlic and black pepper with chicken. I had Cashew nuts with chicken Thai hot. Excellent all around. Service, food, setting all very, very excellent. I even got another order to go! Thai hot just the right level of heat!!! Will be going again.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Love the old building the restaurant is housed in, loved the artwork, the food was delish. The owner stopped by to talk to us and regal us with stories. We enjoyed the music too. Definately recommend.”

“Went today for my first time. Food was delicious. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere. Will be returning.”

“Great food, service, and atmosphere 💕 My favorite in Albany!”

“My family and I have invested in the Gold Pass offered here (like a membership) and we’re here OFTEN. The food and service is always outstanding. With our gold pass there’s a 50% discount on the food which makes it really affordable. We also got the reusable cups, so never pay for drinks. Since this is an indoor activity for the kids to stay entertained for 2-3 hours, it’s a frequently requested family activity in our household. I would definitely recommend this location over the other Chuck E. Cheese locations we’ve been in the past. Way cleaner and way friendlier!”

“I love my drinks I had and I enjoyed my waitress she was very polite and on point”

“It’s always a great time at 809!”

“Absolutely the best brisket I have ever eaten!”

“The server support waitress Ery was good, she is always pleasant, and we love her every time my husband and I eat there.”

“Always playing bangers ready for tonight let’s get it.”

“Always a good meal and great service!!”

“All of us go to resturants for one reason, FOOD! Well, I was pleasantly surprised by the Juicy Crab. Everything was flavorful and NOT SALTY. I was astonished The Juicy Crab sends their food to the table hot and full of spices. The atmosphere is weekend casual, friendly & laid back. Staff is knowledgeable of whats on the menu & very helpful. The physical building is kept clean from the front door to the bathrooms. Yep, I recommend this spot. Stop by and grab a pan of boil. You will not regret it.”

“Wow! The food was fresh and hot! If you want the best southern soul food meal in Albany, try Baby Shane’s. The fried chicken, collards and fried okra were unreal! And, the owners are the nicest people ever and make you feel so welcomed and appreciated.”

“everything was amazing maria Luisa was amazing she was friendly and knew the menu very well”

“After being up since 2:50am this morning and having to drive 3hours away drinking Kuriously Energetic was my life saver. Nothing else worked no other energy drinks worked. I will be getting more!”

“Great season food. Great customer service.”

“These are the nastiest wings I ever had in my life, I ordered a 16 piece lemon pepper hot wing and they sent one order of bland hot wings with curly frys and a order of no flavor tasteless wings with cury frys I did not know chicken could be so bland and nasty. we didn't even eat them they're just sitting there, we did not even have dinner because it was so bad.”

“Came to eat with a friend and was very much rushed by my waitress, I think she must be kinda new. I was hurrying to go pay, since she was in such a hurry. When she brought our food out she told us that they closed 20 minutes ago and she was going to leave our ticket with us. They close at 9 or 9:20, and I understand the frustration, but we knew what we wanted and would be quick and we tip good. I will say, she didn’t get to see that because of her attitude.
Our food took forever bc there was a huge party sat right before us. So why rush us? I planned on never coming back here, but the sweetest waitress (I forgot her name, maybe keirstin? Blondish hair, sweet face) saved the day just asking how I’m doing. I will be back, and if I can remember her name I will be requesting her. The other one with red in her braids needs to take a class on guest service if she ever wants to make real money. You fake it til the guests are gone honey.”

“Each dish is a delight. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly!”

“We came for the crab special and it was delicious. Besides that, Lisa Pickle is the reason it was such a great experience! She is the best waitress I have ever had in my life (and kelly). Definitely go amd ask for Lisa!”

“I celebrated my birthday with my family and friends at Austin’s, one of my favorite places to eat when I come home. I had a WONDERFUL time celebrating my birthday.”

“Out visiting from the Pacific Northwest, decided to have my brother’s bachelor party here. I’ve never eaten at a chain steakhouse before, the place was packed. The appetizers were pub quality, had an Old Fashion, it was a little heavy on the bitters but otherwise made right, had a “Longhorn Steak”, price was reasonable at just under $40/ea wicked salty though! Don’t believe I’ve ever tasted that much salt outside of the drink!”

“My sister and I came in around 9:00 PM last night, knowing the restaurant closed at 10:00 PM. Even though it was close to closing time, our server, a young gentleman, never made us feel rushed. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and observant throughout our entire visit. He checked on us regularly (especially with our refills) and made sure we had everything we needed, which made for a great dining experience.

I ordered the Super Crunch Roll with a salad and house dressing, and my sister had the Hibachi Chicken with salad and soup. Everything was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly. The portions were also very generous—honestly, the hibachi is enough for two people to share. Just keep in mind that if you ask for an extra plate to split the meal, there is an $8.00 sharing charge.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and the customer service was even better. We really appreciated how welcoming and professional our server was, especially so close to closing time. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Tokyo!”

“My first time trying these wings was last Tuesday & i was back that Thursday. Best wings i ever tasted in my life i wouldn't care if it was my last $20 I'd spend it on the wings. I don't know the name by hard but them lick em something with lemon pepper omg. I'll probably be there this week to & the service is pretty fast. The young guy that be at the window is so friendly & he's the one recommended that flavor & it'll probably be next year when i try a different flavor cause I'm stuck on that one. “A GREAT PLACE TO EAT WITH WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE FOOD IS GOOD TOO😋😋😋”

“Had an interesting lunch experience today. The pizza was tasty. Our server was awesome. During our a stay a man came in off the street and had a psychotic episode. The staff acted quickly to contact EMS. I was a little taken aback by the manager’s handling of the situation. Several patrons, myself included, rushed to the man’s aid. We quickly deduced it was a psychiatric issue requiring medical attention. The manager grabbed the phone from the hostess and demanded the police escort the man off his property and then walked away. Thankfully, an ambulance came to his rescue first. But there was no follow up afterward. No table touches to ensure the children present weren’t scared, etc. It’s a little disappointing that in this day and age we’re not more compassionate to our fellow man. The food and service were great, but the management leaves a little to be desired.”

“One of the best Chinese food experiences I have had all year! My wife and I travel all year for work and eat at many restaurants all over the country and this was defiantly in the top 10. The seasoning was so spot on that nothing needed any additional seasoning, That is rare in my experience. GREAT FOOD!!”

“They have great food and it’s fresh when you receive it.Very Friendly staff and great customer service”

“Good, hot, fresh food. Everything is cooked fresh as its ordered. My favorite thing to get is the teriyaki chicken with cabbage and carrots, but it sells out frequently and early. The wings and Philly sandwiches are good too. Limited menu items so everything they do make is really good. Small waiting area. You can sit and eat, but most ppl just order to go. Staff is not always personable, but never seen be rude either. They are all busy doing their jobs, and doing them well.”

“The chicken and fries are always cooked perfectly, tremendous flavor. We have never been disappointed. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻”

“This place is AUTHENTIC. If you're looking for the BEST tacos in Albany, then head over to Jasmine.

They've also got an assortment of other dishes that are phenomenal. The only reason this place doesn't get the hype it deserves is because of the part of Albany it's located in.”

“Very blessed to have chosen this Marcos location for dinner this evening. My boyfriend, dogs and I are staying here temporarily in survival of the hurricane. I briefly make a joke with the General Manager, not knowing he was at the time, and this man walked away while the lady was showing me my pizzas and when he came back, he set another pizza on my other boxes and said nothing. I asked him what this was for and he simply said don’t worry about it. It’s on the house. This GM went above and beyond to provide my family another pizza free of charge and he asked me if I needed anything else, to let him know. This means so much for me and my family. Thank you again so much 🙏🏻✨”

“If you're a fan of great food and excellent service, Let's Roll in Hayfork, CA, is definitely worth checking out. So next time you're in the area, be sure to "get your roll on" and experience the deliciousness for yourself!”

“I've been there so many times now that Ronnie knows what I want when I walk in. I need to try other menu items but the ribs and chicken are so good that I can't leave there without them. This is the type of place you would drive by and ignore but look at all the cars parked outside, they're there for a reason. I've seen Ronnie pull ribs right off the smoker and bring them inside to serve. You can go to the chain restaurants in Albany but this place has the best tasting barbecue in town.”

“Guthries is my favorite chicken tender restaurant in South Georgia. Every time I order from this location I’m greeted with a smile, my food is cooked fresh and tastes delicious, and the overall customer service is top tier. I would recommend the 3 piece snack with barbecue sauce.”

“Food is AMAZING!! They deliver I didn’t have to leave my house or work the 2 times I ordered. The owner name is T. A wonderful person and great customer service and the CAKES ARE SOOOOO GOOD 😊 😍”

“We have gone several times over the last few months. I try to order ahead to save time in the mornings. I have noticed on 3 separate occasions that an added topping I've paid for is not added to my acai bowl - but it's usually after I've driven away. But yesterday, I ordered a bowl ahead and then when I arrived to pick up, I also added an Iced Expresso. They pulled me up and only brought out the Expresso. They then told me they couldn't find my online order - so I show the young lady my receipt and then they make the acai bowl and bring it to me as well. I thanked them and went to work - not really examining it due to the extra time it took as I was trying to get to work. But when I got to work, I noticed my bowl was quite sparce. I paid $17 for this bowl with hardly any Acai base in it 😢. The occasional missed topping here and there I can let slide, especially if I didn't take the time to notice it before I drive off. But I was so disappointed in this bowl.
In general, I really like this place - nice service, delicious bowls made with fresh ingredients. I would just say to look at your order thoroughly before leaving.

Update: I have gone back a few more times since my last review. I was even asked by one of the young ladies, if I was the same person that left the review. She apologized for the way the bowl was made. She stated she wasn't a manager or owner, and couldn't respond to the review, but agreed that the bowl is not their usual standard. I appreciated the acknowledgement. She was so professional and so cordial. I even decided to place a large order for my team and I that had to work on Christmas Eve and everyone loved their smoothies & bowls! ♥️🍧🥤”

“I was so tired after work. I had almost decided not to go tonight. But I’m here to tell you, I had a chain breaking experience. God, has heard my prayers. He is working in my behalf. Oh yea, I almost forgot, the free coffee was great. Thank you.”

“Cold Brew Perfection!
Stopped by Starbucks for a cold brew iced coffee—absolutely the bomb! It took a little longer than expected to make, especially since there was only one other person in the store, but it was totally worth the wait. Hit the spot!”

“Only complaint would be the background music is way too loud. Way too loud to enjoy your dining experience with your family/group. Its like you are competing with it to try and talk at your table.”

“I came pretty late like right before closing. I felt kind of bad but I'd just driven for like 10 hours and needed to eat. The employees were super nice though! They got me in and out real quick. Everything was clean and it was a pretty cozy atmosphere inside even if I only stayed long enough to make my order. Good folks.”

“If you want a true Albany classic, Hot Dog King never disappoints. The food is always fresh, fast, and packed with flavor, and the prices are hard to beat. Their chili dogs are legendary, the fries are spot on, and the service is friendly every single time. It’s one of those places that feels like home the moment you walk in. Consistent, local, and downright delicious. Hot Dog King is an Albany staple for a reason! 🌭👑”

“The best Honey Baked Ham Cafe I have been to. You can fill out a card and check exactly every thing you want on your sandwich. When I order at another Honey Baked I have to tell the cashier what I want. Sometimes I forget something and other times the cashier misses one of the details. The ordering card reminds me of everything I want and also reminds me of all the other things I can get with my sandwich to make it a complete lunch. I take clients there often. It's real food, not processed.”

“The food is always good, and always hot. I especially love the Mongolian beef, and the House Special LoMein. The staff is really friendly. My order is ALWAYS RIGHT.AND ALWAYS HOT AND FRESH!”

“An absolute Amazing Gem!!! The food was spectacular and the customer service is even BETTER 💯💯 I have definitely found my new food spot!!! highly recommended”

“My lunch at Arby's in Albany, GA was actually very good! My group went inside & ordered food to go. Very clean restaurant & bathrooms. I watched the employees make all our food fresh to order. Only negative to that is that it took a good 10-15 minutes to get our diverse food order (we all ordered very different menu options). But, the food we received was hot, fresh, & made perfectly! The 2 employees working were very capable & in good spirits even though they were both pretty busy working hard at the time of my visit. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars for service was the wait time. The 2 employees did a great job, but would have benefited from a 3rd staff member. Overall, excellent experience & delicious food!”

“The cook super fast, by him self behind the stove and we didn't feel to wait too much. Service also very nice and friendly. First time for us, but not the last.”

“We went at night because it is usually too crowded during the day. Gracie in the drive thru line was really nice and had a wonderful outlook even though it was really hot outside. Good experience overall.”

“I would like to recognize two outstanding employees at the Jack’s location on North Slappey in Albany, Georgia, Shanterilla and Mrs.Stepheny. They are both extremely hardworking and always make sure the restaurant is clean and welcoming when I come in. They never hesitate to make sure my chicken is fresh and hot, and they consistently provide great customer service. Jack’s is my favorite restaurant, and I visit daily or every other day. I truly appreciate these two ladies and the effort they put into their work. I hope Jack’s corporate office recognizes Shanterilla and Mrs. Stepheny, along with the rest of the staff, for their hard work and dedication. They are a great representation of Jack’s and what other local chicken restaurant should.”

“Food is always great and servers are friendly!”
