“I had an amazing experience at Yami Sushi in Decatur! I ordered the salmon bento box along with the super crunchy roll, and both were absolutely delicious. The salmon was fresh and flavorful, and the roll had the perfect balance of crunch and taste. On top of that, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and fast. This spot is definitely a gem in Decatur, and I’ll be coming back again soon!“

“Sitting in the car writing this review immediately after dinner, which is something I’ve never done so quickly. This place is a GEM. The impeccable/kind service, the quality of the food, and the inventiveness of the dishes (the salts/sauces used) blew my mind. I’ve had omakase in a hole in the wall in Kyoto that this truly rivaled. They are doing something so special here and I can’t WAIT to go back!

It is such a calm and ‘good vibes’ environment to enjoy the amazing technical artistry and top tier fish. The staff makes sure every need is taken care of promptly. Personally, I like the bit of personality that the hip-hop infused playlist brings to the place. Feels like modern day meets traditional sushi. Exec Chef Trent Harris was our private dining chef and he was so easygoing and downright funny. He also gave us a small bonus course as we were celebrating our engagement.“

“As my friend and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by Dominick and we were seated in a very plush chair. We could see the entire room from where we were seated. The patrons were of all ages (no children). The ambience is of modern flare compared to the old world Japanese style and house music vibes gave the restaurant superb energy. We had the Nice Pear and Kinjo cocktails. They were beautifully executed and not too sweet. A very nice combination of flavors and herbs. We shared the Shrimp Tempura which was lightly breaded (yay!) We also had the Uni and the Spicy Tuna roll, all filled with scrumptious flavors and well presented. To top this off, we ate the Lady M cake and it was to die for. Very light, crisp, and melts in your mouth. Throughout the evening, Dominick was very attentive and made sure our visit was an outstanding one. Our waitress (I apologize I forgot your name) was very knowledgeable with the menu and prompt on getting our orders out. Kudos to Dominick, the waitress, the chef, and the bartender!“

“Let’s talk about EAV That & Sushi real quick. I’ve never really been a Thai food eater. I’ll eat it if that’s what the majority wants but I’ve never been the one to have to have it. Baby listen, EAV That & Sushi has me in a choke hold as the food is AMAZNG!!!! We were in the area as Shaunie said it is one of her favorite places to go, as such, we went. Walking in, the ambiance is really low key and has a great feel to it. It’s perfect for friends, dates, or even alone. After we walked in we were able to be seated immediately. Continuing to take in the ambiance, the feel was so chill. There was a game on each television and the music was playing in the background. Yep, I’m here for all of this. Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu. Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂 From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) We were seated right next to a young couple, who were charming, but.. we could here every word of their conversation. Regardless, we had an enjoyable experience. Our meal was expensive, but we were expecting that. The staff was super friendly. We definitely plan to go back. If you're not a big sushi fan like me, you can definitely find things on the menu to enjoy.“

“Finally was able to try the downtown location during lunch recently and I loved it! I have ordered delivery multiple times and enjoyed the food. My cashier Jasmyn was lovely and made sure I was taken care of. Very clean atmosphere.
Only complaint that made me take away 1 star was because there was a young boy there making comments about Nazis among other things I could not clearly make out. It was just clear he was making the other two young ladies working with him uncomfortable.“

I recommend the mixed cause you get a lil meaty bite and a nice savory crunch with the falafel. I'd come here again since it's affordable and satisfying. They brought us twice the amount of food of the same order. One for dine in, and one for to-go and we got charged for both. Might've just been a miscommunication, but still.“
